KIM BLUE SUIT FORMAL OCCASION

Kim was wearing a deep blue suit with a silver leaf design moving vertically up the material. Small red buds could also be seen beneath the area where his pecs were. A dark blue sash wrapped around his waist, holding the outfit together. Beneath the outer blue layer, one could see a white dress-shirt with a black V neck. A simple black bead necklace garnished his neck and round silver earrings completed his look. The whole outfit made him look dashing, but he'd always been attractive, a fact he'd come to hate.

[reducio][size=75][color=#000000]Kim has always had an insatiable curiosity which tends to get him into trouble on a regular basis. With this curiosity also comes a thirst for knowledge, like the Ravenclaw he is inside. As a result, Kim picked up a variety of useful skills, including languages, music, singing, sketching, cooking, baking, painting and composing music.

Eavesdropping, competing and teasing others is something he excels at. He's also talented when it comes to spells, is very intelligent and loves to read and gain knowledge. Kim is much the perfectionist. As such, he usually has control over his emotions. But sometimes, he tends to say things without thinking when something bothers him. It is hard to make him mad, as he usually relies on his wit to get back at you with words, or if it's too early, he tends to ignore you.

But when he does get mad, it always ends in chaos. He is much like his parents in this aspect and will go on a vengeance spree, until he gets what he wants. Kim's chosen method is to bug them to death on a consistent basis. It is only when the target breaks down crying or gets into trouble with a prefect/authority figure that Kim will consider ending whatever it is he's doing.

Music is something he grew attached to at an early age. It also helped him out when he was at his lowest point and from then on, it would forever become an important part of his life. He is very talented at composing and writing songs and will probably continue to do so for a long time. It gives him happiness and sets him at ease whenever he writes songs or sings any type of music.

When he gives his word to do something, he never breaks it. But it's hard to get him to say, "I give you my word etc..." If he says anything else it usually means he'll try to do it but there are no guarantees. He doesn't tend to trust others easily due to what his parents taught him but will usually be polite, unless there's a reason not to be.

Kim doesn't volunteer information about himself, preferring to keep quiet. He likes to read books, cook/bake, compose music, design and model clothes, listen to people converse and watch others practice magic. He likes to draw + sketch but doesn't want to become an artist as it's just a hobby he enjoys doing now and then. His favorite season is fall and his favorite colors are black, white and blue, although he tells his parents they are green and red, their personal House colors.

This is pretty much to keep them from fighting.

He tends to enjoy spending time with those he's formed a bond with. He is very loyal when someone DOES become his friend and will always protect them, regardless of the consequences. But he won't go out of his way to help people who aren't considered to be his friends. He is very straightforward and doesn't see the need to 'beat around the bush', either people can take the truth or they can't take it. Why would you lie about it?

He doesn't like to coddle others and likes being alone. But he also craves social contact too, despite how ironic that is due to his extreme social anxiety condition. Perhaps this is why he ends up creating or running clubs all the time at Hogwarts.

Most of the time when people think he's 'flirting' with someone, he probably won't be. For some reason, he is extremely good at flirting but when it comes to himself, he just doesn't see himself as desirable. Other than people going after him because they know his family name and want to take advantage of him. He comes across as very confident in this 'flirting' aspect because of this.

Even when he does take the initiative to flirt, he isn't sure of himself, and yet has an unexpected confidence when doing so. But if person he's doing it to ends up flirting back, he'll get nervous, shy, become clumsy + may even start to blink rapidly. Unless, he knows they doesn't truly mean their words and are just messing with him.

He doesn't like physical contact unless he is the one to initiate it and has extreme social anxiety. But the attacks only come when he's in close proximity with large crowds of people (more than 4 at a time), especially those he doesn't know. He also tends to have insomnia at random times and isn't sure what causes this condition inside him.

Due to the shampoo he uses, you'll find he smells like lavender, sage or thyme, depending on what shampoo is available, with a hint of vanilla. It's a brand he's used all his life and prefers this scent over any others. When he can't get this one, he'll use a rosemary-mint scented one, and add his own vanilla in, a great homemade concoction.

Don't wake him up early in the morning, before 10AM, or he'll snap at you, as he's a complete night owl. He is allergic to cats, needing to take allergy potions on a regular basis when felines are in the area. Not to mention the fact that he's had numerous traumatic experiences regarding cats.

Such as visiting a relative and having her cat stalk and pounce on him, which resulted in a sneezing fit that lasted for an hour and totally drained him. As a result of this, he developed an aversion to sneezing, as it reminds him of that time. Kim also stays away from cats in general. Of course, Kim's trauma towards cats does not just stem from the above events. Kwan (Kim's mother) happens to be an Animagus and her form is of a Siamese cat.

She tends to punish Kim in one of two ways. 1 - through his fear of heights. 2 - by turning into a cat and locks herself into the room with him for 24 hrs, forbidding him use of allergy potions. Despite this trauma, he still ends up getting into trouble due to his insatiable curiosity.

He is deathly afraid of heights. As a baby Hiro (his dad) was using the levitation charm to play with him by holding him really high up in the air and darting him around in the air. Kwan (his wife) distracted him and he dropped the baby on its head and Kim's body/inner self remembers this, even if he himself does not. After Kim grew up a bit, as a child he was playing with some kids and they accidentally ended up falling off a cliff together. Then there was another time where he fell out of a tree and hurt himself, which was swiftly taken care of through magical healers.

But the trauma remained with him. And at last, there was the incident where his mother was punishing him one day by dangling him out of the window, directly after having punished him in cat form, thus his trauma regarding cats and heights were further developed inside his mind. He tends to freeze for awhile if he's more than a foot off the ground and it takes him some time to recover.

It doesn't help that his father constantly tries to get him used to heights all the time, hoping he'd eventually become a great Quidditch player like him. This in turn makes it even more traumatizing for him. But Kim doesn't like disappointing his parents. So he does his best to please them.[/reducio][/td]

In their eyes it means you can look down on others, which was essential. He'd always been tall for his age, even at his old school he'd been the tallest one. He has a beauty spot under his left eyelid. He dyes his hair different colors depending on his mood, using muggle dyes but will use spells if he doesn't have much time to get it done.

His lower lip is full and his upper lip is normal, adhering to beauty standards. He has flat, voluminous, shaped, straight and magnificent eyebrows that add meaning to the appearance of his almond-shaped eyes. He has a slim, shaped nose. Kwan says Kim has her face and Hiro's nose. Due to his upbringing, he usually tends to have good posture. It was drilled into him at an early age as a pureblood.

He wears his hair up in a ponytail and also down. Also, he tends to change his hair style to suit his mood. As for hair color, he changes this once a month, although sometimes goes for an ombre style every now and then. When he wears casual clothes, he likes to have a sense of fashion rather than being comfortable. The door opened and another person entered the room.

The boy could talk forever about sweets, desserts and food items. It was just something that had always interested him, along with a variety of other things. Kim really was a well-rounded kind of person. Tons of things interested him, which meant he'd experienced a variety of things as a result. He went over to the snack table himself and picked up a chocolate chip cookie. Light and crispy on the outside but softer on the inside. And yet not too soft because that would remind you more of cookie dough. It was the best because they had all different textures, which was awesome.

"Or do you prefer other sweets?" Kim added, wanting to know more about her tastes.

Earlier, a cloud of powder descended upon them.

Hiro ducked his head, trying to protect his eyes and reached up to wipe his face with his sleeve. "You better watch out now! The Color Beater is coming for you!" He joked, proving his point later when Bailey successfully covered Louca with some powder. A few seconds later, Hiro did the same, throwing his own hot pink and lime green powder bags at the boy too. If Louca tried ducking away from Bailey's, he would run directly into Hiro's powder. Even if he didn't duck, the pink haired boy's powders would cover him. There really was nowhere to go for the other.

He'd also have to look over himself, to see what he was missing on his clothes.

Kim was still feeling rather strange for various reasons.

But he tried not to think about it. No, instead he'd think about the upcoming spring/easter break. That was a safe topic and one that was easy for his heart to handle.

It was something he'd needed to think about.

He'd decided to stay at Hogwarts over the upcoming break, rather than go back home. Charlie had also done the same. So there really was no point in going back home this time.

It wasn't as if his parents would be at home, they were still really busy with their respective jobs. So if Charlie wasn't even around, there was no point in Kim returning home. Therefore, he'd elected to stay at Hogwarts over the break. It would give him some time to explore the place more too. But that would be a little over a week from now. He didn't think it had been that bad and he'd let her flick his nose twice too. And even offered him the chance to beat him up a little to make her feel better. But she hadn't taken him up on that offer. Despite the way she was acting, Kim still had a soft spot for her.

If someone dared pick on her and he found out or was there at the time, they'd regret doing so. Because Kim was rather petty when it came to getting revenge on someone. He had a one-track mind and was incredibly stubborn. If he set his mind on something, it would happen. The only question was how much time it would take. Kim reached up to run a hand through his purple hair as he walked around the grounds to get some fresh air into his body's system.

Although he has a small harem going on, Kim doesn't even know people like him. He actually thinks no one really/truly likes him, as he believes people tease him all the time because they don't know how to tell him that they don't like him. Therefore, he acts as if he doesn't care about what anyone thinks, so he won't ever get hurt in the process. He also has a little bit of a complex about his looks. People in the past kept saying that he had this cool, mysterious air about him that made them think he was regal like a prince. He also had amazing pureblood connections (as his parents are one of the top pureblood families with the most powerful connections and everyone wants to be on their good side) and to top all that off, he was extremely attractive. Enough so that he didn't even need to do anything/be good at anything and he'd get ahead in life due to his good looks and pureblood connections. Kim was hurt because of all these things being said about him.

So now he doesn't like it if someone says he looks handsome, he prefers if they say he's really smart etc... anything that doesn't have to do with his looks. He also doesn't like to talk about family bc of this, as he doesn't want anyone to think he uses connections to get whatever he wants. At the same time, he also doesn't want anyone to use him for his connections which has happened on more than one occasion. All these things served to make Kim a bit withdrawn, unable to trust people easily and kind of standoffish at times. He also doesn't tend to reveal much about himself to others, fearing that they will learn who he is and then seek to become his 'friend' to gain favors from him eventually. However, lately he's begun to open up a bit more with Sophia, Sage, Regina, Eun-ji, Gem and Bailey. He still fears that one day they will all 'betray' him but can't stop himself from getting closer to them. There are only two things that can always calm him down, food and Puffie.

At the start of every school year, sometime in September, I will hold a special auditions thread. This is where the Head Chef (Kim) will assess you and figure out what level you are starting at when it comes to cooking/baking and preparing meals, dishes, drinks and desserts. You will write an audition post, describing your signature dish (the dish that represents you), stating the name of the dish, what it is, and how you will present it to the Head Chef when it's done.

At the end of the thread, I will send you an owl with your Star Pin-Patch rank.

Hjordis Jensen is our adviser and will be sitting in the background reading a book to ensure nothing goes wrong during our meetings. We will be meeting inside an open classroom, or out on the Campgrounds, until access to the Kitchens opens up for us all. You can use Incendio to make fire or try and start it without magic. If you don't have Incendio and can't manage to start a fire on your own, the Head Chef will help you start one for the duration of your audition.

More Info

This audition serves as a quick test of your skills in the kitchen, be they good or horrible. It doesn't matter if you suck, the whole point of this exercise is to see how you are without any advice. Even if you suck, the Head Chef will eventually make you better and you will emerge with more skills than you had before you joined. Hopefully, you will also have a better appreciation of food and have a broader taste in food too. Once your audition is done, I will send an owl to you with a pin-able patch that will have anywhere from 1-3 stars. This patch is known as the Star Pin-Patch. 1 star means you have no initial talent in a kitchen but have potential. 2 stars mean you're decent at cooking but nothing overly special. 3 stars mean you are good at cooking but not excellent. After 1 month passes, these patches are removed, as the Head Chef will consider you to be a full member, as long as you post at the first meeting that is.

How to Play? ---

Mystery Box Game ---
Individual type of challenge. There are multiple small crates waiting for each member on long tables that are set up. Underneath each are an array of ingredients. You cannot see what the ingredients are until you lift the crate. Thus, mystery box is the game.

How to play? ---
On the count of 3 you lift the crate up to reveal the chosen ingredients inside. You must make a dish using only the items you see before you. Of course, essential ingredients are allowed for you to use (in order to make a dish work/come together, such as flour, sugar, salt etc...) but specific ones are forbidden, unless it can be found in your mystery box. Best tasting dish decided on through dice roll of everyone's dish with the higher rolls being better wins this game. No reward or punishment, just enjoy eating all of the creations afterward.

Team Game ---
You randomly get paired up by Tatsu and compete in teams. The amount of people on your team depends on how many are participating at the time. Some teams will have more members than other teams if there is an odd number. This tests your ability to work with others and produce quality dishes. A theme is chosen ahead of time by one of the Big 3.

How to play? ---
Your team competes against another team, chosen by Tatsu randomly. The winner is decided by taste ooc through a dice roll for every team's dish. higher is better. ic the winner is chosen by the head chef. Winners get to eat their dishes and leave, while losers can eat their dishes too but have to clean up the entire area as punishment for losing their matches.

This is a fun activity that will happen at each monthly meeting. The Head Chef, Sou-chef 1 and Sou-chef 2 are in charge of the game and are known as the Big 3 to the rest of the club. The Big 3 will contact the Head Chef (Kim aka me) through discord DM or owl (if you don't have discord) and Sou-chef 1 and Sou-chef 2 will send me pictures of the dish they want to make/bring to the meeting. When the meeting starts, there will be 3 dishes on display for members to look at. To prevent people from figuring it out, we'll pretend that IC Kim met up with the 2 sou-chefs and took their dishes from them to bring them to the meeting room.

Activity ---
The first dish is selected and members have to guess who made it out of the 3.
The second dish is selected and the third dish is selected with members having to do the same.
At the end, whoever has the most correct answers wins!

If there is a tie between members, they will each pick a # and then Tatsu will roll.
Whoever's # is closest to the # Tatsu chooses, wins.
Please make sure your choices for each dish are in bold.

Winner Reward---
The winner gets to eat the extra 3 full dishes brought by the Big 3.

Loser 'Rewards' ---
3 random ingredients are chosen by the Head Chef and the rest of the members/cooks will be required to make meals out of these ingredients for themselves. Once their creations are done, they can eat them.

TAKES PLACE ONCE A YEAR

This event takes place once a year, sometime in June.
It is called the Tri-Cook Competition, or TC Competition.

Participants---
A thread will be set up sometime during the last week of May and entries will be accepted. Those who are eligible to sign-up for this must have gone to the past 2 meetings in a row. Since only 1 meeting is held per month, it shouldn't be that difficult. Essentially, we only want people who are active to participate in this event. The sign-up thread will be open for 1-2 weeks tops (depending on when the date for the TC Competition is decided). Once the entries are done, I will assign numbers to everyone and let Tatsu decide who the participants will be.

TC Competition is meant to show off the talent of budding culinary students and gain appreciation from others. It is also designed to get your name out there and for the world to take notice of you. There will always be a judge for each TC Competition and it will usually be different depending on the year, as it depends on who is available/who the Big 3 decide to ask. It is usually an adult but it can be a student too, although they must have some form of cooking experience, a good palate or something else that relates to food to be one. If you are an adult, you don't need to fulfill these requirements but it would be nice if you did have at least one.

Game ---
It consists of 3 total rounds.

1st round:
Competitors are given a theme by the judge and must create a dish that works with the theme. You are given a certain amount of points (1-5) by the judge.

2nd round:
Competitors are given a mystery box by the judge which they must use to create a dish.
You are given 1-5 points by the judge for this round too.

3rd round:
Competitors are given the opportunity to surprise the judge by creating a dish of their own. Scoring is also 1-5 points.

Result:
Whoever has the most points at the end of the 3 rounds is the winner. Points will not be shown after each round, they will only be shown at the end of the 3rd and final round.

Reward ---
Whatever the current judge wants to give. It could be simply praise and nothing more. It could be an actual physical reward or object. It could be a sweet or treat. It could be a small amount of money. Or it could be something completely different. The point is, you never know what your reward will be. So treat it as a way to show your culinary skills off and don't expect anything, that way you will never be disappointed.

It is kinda like a Wizards scouts but slightly different. We have our own ranks, your rank is given based off of your Hogwarts year. We also have a patches versus badges system. Patches and badges are very similar but you can only put patches on your clothes. Badges are worn on a strap/belt that you are given when you first join the club. You get 1 patch for whatever activity you complete. If the current meeting is based off camping, when you finish the meeting, you will obtain 1 camping patch. You can put the camping patch onto your clothes somewhere IC and OOC you can put it under a spoiler at the end of your post to show people what patches/badges you currently have.

Once you have 10 patches in a certain activity, you will obtain a badge in that activity. You are to take that badge and put it onto your Explorer strap/belt that you were given when you first joined the club. Once you have completed all the activities listed (at least 10 of them, although new activities might be added from now until that point in time) and have badges for all of them, you are considered to be a veteran and will be given a special rank. You are then expected to look after the other ranked members (regardless of their year), as they will all be beneath you in rank. The point of this club is to learn, persevere, succeed and look after others to help them all out.

Who knows, maybe you will make some lifelong friends in the process, along with obtaining great skills and learning things you might never have discovered otherwise!

The club meets once a month as its activities are planned out the month before.

Club Description: This is a IC club that meets twice a month, once at the start of the month and once at the end of the month. The first meeting (at the start of the month) is designed to divide members into two teams. Both teams will discuss ideas/designs for outfits. Input from both potential designers and models are needed. The second meeting (at the end of the month) is meant for each team to show the outfits they've created to the models and have the models present their outfits to the club leader. The aim of this club is to create/design outfits and model them. There will be 3 main events for this club, each one will take place during a certain season (spring, fall, winter). The point is to hold a fashion show 3 times a year, each representing a seasonal line.

PARTNERS:

Grouping - You will be grouped up randomly into 2 teams, 3 times a year. This in turn means your team might change its members 3 times a year too, so be prepared for this.

ROLES:

Designer - They design and create outfits for the models to present to the viewers.
Model - You don't need to be the "beauty standard" to be a model. In fact, you don't even need to be a girl. The more diversity the better. It can make it that much more fun.
Both - You can sign up to be both but it won't happen at the same time. If you sign up for both, depending on who you have in your team, you will have to talk with the other members to decide how to allocate the positions. You must have at least 2 designers in a team.

SEASONAL FASHION LINES:

We will hold 3 seasonal fashion lines throughout the year. One for each season. At the end of each fashion line, we will hold a vote amongst the audience who watches our line. They must choose between Team A and Team B. The team that gets more votes than the other will obtain a small monetary prize. Directly afterward, another vote will be held between the members of the winning team. Have you heard about the prank clubs at Hogwarts but didn't think you were skilled enough to join them? No worries! The Mischief Makers is a club that is very welcoming of new members. You can join with lots of experience or with none at all! While other prank clubs call their activities pranks, the Mischief Makers call them mischief instead because it just sounds way cooler, doesn't it? Why play pranks when it could be mischief?

Our motto is 'have a little fun and mischief in your life' and we try to live by it every single day we are active. This club is all about doing fun and creative things to others and not getting caught doing them! You can also blow off some steam here too! If you join this club, you will not regret it!

It might even spicen your life up in the process! We meet twice a month. The first time is usually at the beginning of the month and the purpose is to discuss potential pranks and targets. By the end of the meeting we come to a decision as to whether to do individual pranks and targets or engage in a larger prank that the whole group can participate in.

Further instructions are given at the meeting when it is held and any questions are answered there. The second time is usually at the end of the month where we gather and everyone discusses the outcome of the prank(s) done and we throw a celebration for a successful prank done, or a pity-party if the prank(s) was unsuccessful. This is repeated every month.

How pranks are done - I will set up a thread meeting IC. We will discuss IC what our next prank will be, when I get various ideas from members I'll set up a poll of the most popular prank ideas and you guys can all vote. The prank with the most votes will be the next prank we do. Then, I'll have Tatsu select 3 members to carry out the prank. These members will choose to prank 3 people, (1st member pranks 1 person, 2nd member pranks 1 person, 3rd member pranks 1 person) doing the prank that was chosen.

IC the Mischief Makers will secretly watch each of the selected members carry out their prank if possible (each of the 3 selected members must do the prank at different times, so the club can watch all of them). If it's not possible, the selected members who are not watched must provide some kind of proof IC that they carried out their prank to the club, which we will then IC write out and react to during the next meeting. OOC please link the post where you did your prank, so we can read it for OOC purposes.

If you are active (which you should be if you're a member of the club!) you must post watching the prank being carried out in the thread it is taking place in. Remember to write that you are secretly watching it because you don't want to draw attention to yourself. If you don't have time, or are absent and/or missing OOC, IC we'll just say that you weren't able to come to watch. But this will count against you if you make a habit of this (absent more than 5 times in a row means removal from the club).

To fulfill your active requirement to be part of the Mischief Makers when a prank is taking place, you are required to post at least once. But it would be preferable if you did so more times. If your status 'member' is listed on the roster in green, that means you have committed a 'first offense' by being absent from a prank. If it is a yellow, it means it is a 'second offense'. If it is an orange, it means it is a 'third offense'. If it is a darkred, it means it is a 'fourth offense'. If your name is missing from the roster from that point on, it means you've committed a fifth and final offense and were kicked out of the club. You may rejoin the club again but if history repeats itself, you will not be allowed to rejoin for a period of OOC 3 months and IC 1 month.

The only exception is if you contact me OOC through owls or discord and let me know you'll be gone during a certain time period and will resume normal activity at a certain date. I will write down your absence period beside your name on the roster and you will be exempt from these rules.

Welcome to Clumsy Club

Reducio

This is a club for how your character is clumsy.

We will meet twice a month to talk about how clumsy our characters have been. The club meeting place will be decided by the members and will change for every meeting. A poll will be done to determine the location. Keep in mind that some places are inaccessible for lower years, such as RoR and Hogsmeade.

The first meeting will be IC, which means you will need to keep the 200 w/c on RP boards. The second meeting will be OOC (It will probably be held on this board as it's not an RP board). The OOC meeting will be fun because it will relate to anything you as a real life human have experienced regarding clumsiness. For these posts there is no w/c and you can be as short or long as you want.

On the last day of the month we will hold a blind competition to see who has done the funniest clumsy thing throughout the month. This can be either OOC or IC, either one works. There will be a separate thread where members can post their entries. Once the entries have been posted, I will set up a poll and members can vote on which one they think is the funniest. IC entries will have their character's name listed and OOC entries will have their character's name listed with an OOC beside it.

Whoever wins will be given a small prize/reward.

Once a year, on December 31st, there will be a grand prize drawing as to who has hurt themselves the most throughout the year. This mean who has had the most accidents. This can be either IC or OOC again. There will be a separate thread where members can post their entries. Once the entries have been posted, I will set up a poll and members can vote on which one they think has hurt themselves the most throughout the year. IC entries will have their character's name listed and OOC entries will have their character's name listed with an OOC beside it to differentiate.

Whoever wins will be given a reward.

I will select a small list of prizes/rewards to choose from. Members can also choose to give ideas as to what they might want as a prize/reward (as long as it's not too expensive). I will randomly select 3 of them and add them to the list. Each item will be given a number and then a drawing will be held by Tatsu.

Whatever Tatsu decides is the grand prize that will be given.

Club Description: This is an IC club that meets once a month. The point is to be blindfolded and guess what it is that you're touching within 10 seconds. You have 1 chance to get it right. If you get it right, you get a point. If you get it wrong, you get no points. If the roll is 1-15 you will guess the item correctly. If the roll is 16-20 you will guess the item incorrectly. One round is 3 items. There are 2 rounds per meeting. Every member will go through the 2 rounds. If there are ties, Kim will hold a bonus round where players will compete with eachother until one member fails to guess correctly. That member is then out. Eventually, a winner will emerge. At the end of each meeting, Kim will write down a list of the winners inside a black book he carries with him at all times.

The winner of each meeting will be given a chocolate frog.

The aim of this club is to relax, make friends, play a fun game and go back happy. Yearly prizes serve to reward members for continuing to stay with the club throughout the year.

A hub for all things theatre, Drama Club can help students hone existing skills or develop new ones. You can act or go behind the scenes to learn how to do special effects for games, improv and skits. Although, the behind the scenes roles are limited as more actors are needed in the club. Regardless of what you do in Drama Club, remember the most important thing is to have fun!

Don't forget to show up to meetings! Who knows, you may make some friends while developing your skills at the club!

Once a year, the Drama Club will hold a yearly skit for Hogwarts to come see. It will consist of 3 connected skits. We will hold auditions for the roles closer to the time and work towards our end goal of putting on the production. There will be a total of 11 different types of roles to choose from down below.

Actors -
Self-explanatory. You act in the production.

Intro Host -
You will come onto the stage and introduce the production to the audience and then exit once the production starts.

Special Effects -
You are in charge of special effects having to do with sound, lighting and any other technical things.

Backstage Director -
You are in charge of deciding what special effects, sound, lighting are used and when to use them. Make sure the special effects people know what they are doing and when they are supposed to do things. It's all on you to ensure your people will do the best they can do during the production.

Prop Director -
You are in charge of deciding what kind of props are going to be made. You must interact with the skit writers to make sure you know what kind of props will work with the skits. You are in charge of the prop crew people and need to make sure they know what they are doing and how to do it. Make sure you can teach your prop crew to move sets in between skits in the darkness.

Skit Writers -
You are in charge of writing the skits. There are 3 total skit writers as there are 3 total skits. The skit writers need to work together as the 3 skits have to combine/make sense.

Understudy -
You are backups in case someone can't make it, gets sick etc... there is one for each role. Prop crew, extras and spectators do not count. Every other position you can be an understudy for. You train to do the same thing as whatever role you are assigned to. You may not participate in the production if everything goes well but on the off chance something doesn't go well, you will step in and fulfill that role. Tatsu will decide if multiple people want to be understudy to the same position. Please list your interest in roles from top to bottom when applying to be an understudy once the available roles are revealed to the members. You will be selected for 1 role.

Costume Designers -
You are in charge of coming up with costume designs and actually making the outfits for the actors.

Prop Crew -
You are in charge of creating sets and props that will be used in the productions. You are also in charge of changing sets and props between the skits in complete darkness.

Spectators -
You can also decide not to participate in the production at all and simply support your fellow members on the sidelines. You can only be a spectator up to 3 times in a row. If you decide on being a spectator for a fourth time, you will be removed from the club. After all, this club is not designed for you to just watch others do the work. You must contribute in some manner too.

Extras -
You will make brief appearances during skits and have three or less lines. Sometimes you may not have any lines.

Setting:

► The "Chaos Demon". It was a rather large pirate ship that had been built by a very talented shipwright, who had turned into a pirate after losing his job, just because he'd upset the wrong kind of people. As a result, he'd turned his talents elsewhere and built the best pirate ship ever made in this day and age. It was more sturdy and had more fun little gadgets and mysteries on the ship than any other before its time. Hell, it could even withstand average cannonballs. Strikes that would make a normal ship go away with holes that would be difficult to fix, would only dent the Chaos Demon. Or give it minor inconveniences. The Chaos Demon developed an impressive reputation in the world.

Soon after it's creation it became known everywhere.

Our game takes place directly after the Chaos Demon docked at an extremely tiny village. A small group of people have recently arrived, hoping to get a ride away from the area. Everyone's motivations and reasons for needing to leave are different but one thing remains the same. They need to leave today and can't wait for another day to come. Because no ships are coming into the harbor today, the only one that is leaving today is the Chaos Demon. Having no other choice, the small group decides to either barter for passage onto the ship or try to sneak on board and hope they aren't found out by them.

If they barter, they will be asked to give the pirates some loot as payment. If they sneak on board, hopefully they aren't caught by the crew and punished by them. It's up to you as to why you need to leave the area, thus forcing you to leave on the Chaos Demon. Just know that you must leave on the ship and have no other choice. Once on board the pirate ship, as it takes off onto the ocean, the small group eventually come to realize that they should have never gotten on board. The Chaos Demon is cursed and the lives of everyone on board are forfeit. When the first death happens, no one understands what is going on.

But when the second death happens, that's when they realize the truth.

There are some unlicensed werewolves with them, who are killing everyone on board each night. Apparently, they do not have access to potions or there is some other unknown reason behind why they are losing control of themselves. The most logical thing to do is to report them to the Ministry and have them deal with it but for some reason, communications and transportation spells and devices are cut off from the rest of the world on board the Chaos Demon. This ship really is cursed. Hopefully, you will survive long enough to disembark when the ship docks again at the next port, whenever that is.

► As a result...
Each night a small number of people turn into werewolves and end up killing/eating one villager per night. In the morning, the people find out who has been killed/eaten and vote on who to blame for this. The person with the highest amount of votes 7 days later (OOC) is forced to 'walk the plank' and perish in the ocean, eliminating them.

Roles:

► This game relies on owls, so please check your owls on a consistent basis when you sign up for it. Do not tell anyone your role when it is given. Not even your friends. When the game starts, everyone will get an owl from me, letting you know what your role is for the duration of the game. 25% of the players will be werewolves, 1 player will be the Hunter, 1 player will be the Protector, and the others will be humans.

► As a werewolf, you are to keep your identity hidden at all costs. If you are found out and the villagers are convinced, you will be 'killed' at the end of the day. From the start of the game, all the wolves are told who the other wolves are. So the wolves know who they are but the humans, Hunter and Protector do not know, which is good for the wolves.

During the night the wolves will send a group owl to eachother, including the mod too which is me, to decide amongst them what one person they want to take out that night. Once they come to a decision, that person will be killed when morning time arrives. Please title all group owls for this as Chaos Demon [Wolf Target][Day 1] for the first time you decide on a target. The second time you decide on a target, please replace the 1 with 2 etc... Please continue with this set-up until the end of the game.

► As a human, you are to find out who the wolves are and protect yourself against them by 'killing' them, before they can kill or eat you. You have no way to do this for certain, as you have no special abilities, but you can use your brains/wits, your gut feelings, your opinions, be convinced by others, establish impressions of people, make alliances or enemies etc... have fun with it and do whatever you wish within site rules!

► As the Protector, you can try and protect 1 human per day, whoever you protect will be safe for that night, even if they are selected to die by the wolves. The Protector can also choose to protect themselves if they don't want to protect someone else.

The Protector can decide to protect themselves or 1 other person. They must owl me with their decision during this time period. They do not know who the wolves have decided to eat/kill and will base their decision strictly off their own ideas, or their thoughts on what happened during the daytime. Please title the owls for this as Chaos Demon [Protector][Day 1] and merely state the name of the person you wish to protect for that night, be it yourself or someone else. This part is very simple for whoever this is.

► As the Hunter, you can ask for the identity of 1 player per night. But even if YOU know, you must convince others. But remember to consider your own safety too.

The Hunter has the ability to find out the identity of 1 person per night. They ask the mod for the identity of one person each night. They receive a response as to whether that person is a wolf or not. But just because they now know the truth does not mean everyone knows. The Hunter now has to convince the others that he either knows the identity of a wolf or a human but this is hard. Because how can someone tell if they are lying or not? They could be a wolf in disguise, trying to mislead others! Plus, if the Hunter finds a wolf, tries to get the humans to believe him and night falls, the wolves might target that person.

There are lots of things to consider!

Please title your owls as: Chaos Demon [Hunter][Day 1] when you send them to me.

Gameplay:

► Time might be a little confusing for this game. So I will try and explain it so you will understand the setup. There are 2 different times that are involved in this game.

- OOC time. This is the amount of time you have IRL to post before the mod posts etc...
- IC time. Since this game is not really a game and is more like players putting on a play and playing roles in the play, IC time refers to the times inside the 'play' that take place.

► The game is set in a night and day cycle in the 'play' IC.
Mod posts will be posted once every 7 days OOC.
But it will only be one day in the 'play' IC.

► The first mod post will state it is morning and a non-player human has just been found dead. It will go on to state that because of this incident, the humans decide to elect a Leader by the end of the day. This is the first activity that will take place for everyone. Players can make posts as often as they wish, reacting to the death, blaming others, spreading rumors and deciding on a Leader.

► How to elect a Leader? This is done by everyone voting for this. You cannot vote for yourself. You can change your vote as much as you want until everyone has voted. This part is not modded, you can decide this on your own. If the votes are tied, you can try and convince others to change their votes. You must have a decision within 7 days time OOC.

IC in the 'play' this takes place all on the first day.
OOC you have 7 days to elect a Leader to represent you all.
If you cannot make the decision by this point in time, Tatsu will randomly choose one.
Regarding how to vote, please refer to the voting process down below.

Also, if most people have voted within 7 days and only a few people haven't voted, if it's not a tie vote, the people who didn't vote will not be counted and the Leader will be elected based off the votes already given. The Leader is a normal person (can be human, wolf or special role). They have no special abilities. But they do have a particular duty that is very important in the game. If there is a tie when it comes to votes as to who to blame for the crime that took place at night, the Leader is allowed to make the decision between the two candidates.

► Once you have a Leader, the humans will go to sleep, as it has been a busy day. During the night, another member is killed (this is the first time the actual players will discuss and kill someone, protect someone and discover the identity of someone etc...) and when the humans wake up, they discover this. It now becomes obvious that it is a wolf who is responsible. They stare at eachother suspiciously and try to figure out who the wolf is throughout the day, even though there is no evidence.

But it is 100% certain it's one of them. During the daytime, everyone can post as often as they wish, state opinions, make up rumors or lies, etc... anything goes! Remember to respect site rules/OOC matters. If you accuse someone of being a wolf, provide a reason as to why you think so. It doesn't have to make sense but if it doesn't people probably won't believe you. By the end of the day, the humans decide to take out one of their members, as they must be the wolf and force them to 'walk the plank'.

This is decided through a vote that everyone has to participate in.

IC in the 'play' this all takes place in 1 day.
OOC you have until the night the wolves meet next to come up with your vote.

► Each night I will make a mod post after the votes have been cast on who to 'blame' for the crime the previous night. When that player is killed, I will reveal their true role. Then, night will fall, and the wolves will kill their next target, which I will then post the following morning. This will repeat until the end of the game, when all the wolves have been 'killed' or when the wolves outnumber the humans, as that would mean ultimate victory.

IC in the 'play' this takes place every night/morning and continues until we have a result.
OOC this takes place once every 7 days to give people time to post.
I will post both mod posts once I have the humans votes and the next wolf target.

► During the daytime, the humans will discuss and try to figure out who the wolves are again etc... The wolves act as if they are humans and try to turn them against eachother, so they take eachother out. The Hunter tries to convince others to side with him to take the wolves out. The Protector tries to protect as many people as he can from the wolves, while keeping himself alive too. The whole process continues to repeat until the wolves are taken out or the wolves outnumber the humans.

OOC Info:

► Each game will only have a maximum of 10 players. Once we get 10 players, the first game will start.

► This game is considered to be what is known as a 'tactical forum game'. The point of the game is that players have to try and figure out on their own who the werewolves are and make decisions after coming to their conclusions. Alliances and enemies will be made. But no one truly knows if they are right or not. Not until the following day comes and the truth is revealed to everyone present. If they are correct, a werewolf will be killed/removed.

If they are incorrect, a human will be killed. Note, there is no real killing done, 'killing' is merely 'you are out of the game' and have become a 'ghost'.

► It takes place in an imagined setting with fake roles and everyone is assigned a role before the game begins. The main thing to remember at all times is to LIE LIE LIE if you are a 'wolf' or one of the 2 'special' roles. This is to protect yourself from being 'killed'. But if you desire to do so, you don't have to lie but if you don't lie, you would most likely be more at risk. Even if you are a normal person, you can still lie if you wish because that just makes things even more fun. The point of this is to have fun, so lie or don't lie!

► Your HiO character name will be the name you are known by in this game. You can either act as if you are your character and see how your character would act in such a situation, or you can pretend to be someone else. But to avoid confusion please keep your name the same as your HiO main player character name.

► More detail about how players discuss who to 'kill' aka 'make walk the plank': This will be done in posts in the main thread, you can post and try to put blame on a certain character. Try and get people to vote for them. There is no posting order, you can post all you want up until the mod post comes. Probably try not to double post though because if you wait for someone else to post it will give you more material to work with when you post your own. Remember, please follow the voting format down under the Voting heading when you place your vote. This is done in the actual main thread, not through owls, as this has to do with the humans deciding on their own who to blame.

► Once the game starts, sign-ups are closed, although you can still sign up on the main signups page and be on the waitlist. If someone goes inactive during the game and doesn't post 2 times in a row, they will be replaced by someone on the waitlist.

► 'Dead' players will have a spectator thread to post in, known as the Ghost Plane, while observing the rest of the gameplay, much like quidditch matches. Those listed on the Ghost Plane thread can't interact with those still playing in the game, but they can read what goes on and talk amongst the other 'dead' players. While in the Ghost Plane, please do not reveal the identity of any players that are still playing in the main game thread.

This mainly applies only to the Hunter, who may or may not have discovered the identity of one of the wolves beforehand. But it can also apply to everyone else too. Because if it is known that the Hunter isn't amongst those in the Ghost Plane thread, that means they are still in play in the game. On the other hand, if the Hunter is revealed to be in the Ghost Plane thread, the wolves will know they have nothing to worry about as a result. So please do not reveal your identity in the Ghost Plane thread if you were killed by a wolf. If you were killed by the humans, feel free to do so if you wish, as everyone already knows what your role was when you were alive. Please follow the rules, thank you.

► You must be active and commit to posting at least once every 7 days OOC.

► You must state your vote in a post within 7 days OOC. Please explain your reasoning behind your vote or if there is none, state there is no reason. Also, at the end of your post please say in bold who you are placing your vote for as well. A date will be given later on with the time period you have to get your vote in. If you do not vote for a certain week, your vote will not be counted for that week. If you don't vote for 14 days straight (2 mod posts), you will be removed and replaced with a waitlisted person, who will also assume the role you were given from the start of the game.

► A mod post will be posted once every 7 days OOC. It will show the results of the night before and will reveal the true role of the one selected to 'die'. It will be posted after the humans vote on someone to kill/take out, so it depends on when this happens.

► A wolf cannot attack another wolf during the night, the wolves can only attack/target humans. So you cannot attack/target another wolf just to 'prove' their innocence.

► I will state this again. Do not tell anyone your role at any point in time during the game. This is essential as being secretive about who you are could save your life. The only time you can mention or talk about your role is when you are dead in the Ghost Plane and that is ONLY IF YOU WERE KILLED BY THE HUMANS. If you were killed be a wolf, do NOT reveal your role.

► When a player is killed by the humans, their role will be revealed to everyone. When a player is killed during the night by a wolf, they will just be stated as being dead and no description will be given. Their role will also not be revealed to anyone. If you decide to post in the Ghost Plane thread, please do not reveal your role if you were killed by a wolf. This is important. Also it's just a good rule in general not to reveal any information you may have discovered about the identity of others in the Ghost Plane while you were 'alive'.

► Deceiving, lying, spreading rumors etc... these are all parts of the game. Wolves and those with special roles will most likely do this all the time to protect themselves. But since no one knows what your role is, that makes it even more interesting because who is who? You may lie about what your role is, your motivations, your opinions etc..., what other players have said to you etc... all to try and deceive others and make them believe you - this is something you can do for sure to make things more interesting in the game.

► You can lie about what your role is, or even tell the truth to others. But you cannot provide proof of this (such as showing them the owl that tells you what your role is). As a result, no one will know for sure if you are lying or telling the truth, which might make them suspicious etc... A wolf can say they are actually the Hunter. Or they can say they are a wolf. But it's bad to claim you are a wolf because that will make others wonder if you really are and then they might vote you off and you'll die.

Voting

► This is the most important part of the game. You must participate in voting, it is the only thing you are required to do on a consistent basis. If you do not think you can handle this, please do not join. Voting as fast as possible is recommended because if you get your vote in earlier, you don't have to actually be around until later on. If you wait until the last second to vote, you are holding up everyone else. If you can't be around that particular week OOC we can skip your vote. But if you aren't around the following week too, you will be removed and replaced by someone on the waitlist.

► Do not wait to vote until everyone else has. Vote as soon as you can.

► When voting, please write the following at the end of your post.
Vote: place the person's name you want to vote in bold here

You should also write your vote into your actual post too and give a reason behind your vote. If you have no reason, merely state you have no reason. You cannot change your vote once the mod post is out, as it will be too late by then.

► You can't vote for yourself at all. Not for the Leader position or to be killed.

► In case you didn't read this before, I will restate this. Regarding the Leader's 'abilities' they are a normal human with one difference. If there is a tie when it comes to votes as to who to blame for the crime that took place at night, the Leader is allowed to make the decision between the two candidates.

Rewards

► If the wolves win, each wolf gets 3 chocolate frogs as a reward.

► If the humans win, each human gets 3 chocolate frogs as a reward.

► Yes, this applies to every wolf and every human, even the ones who are dead.

Important Notes:

Unlike the summer games, there are a few changes.

1) Choose the variation for each game
2) Choose what special roles we include in each game
3) Choose whether we want to do a 200 w/c post type of game such as the summer games, or do a kind of OOC type of game. Such as no w/c where it's more like OOC Let's Chat.

Example:

1) 200 w/c post type of game ---
You'd do your posts IC and keep the rule of 200 w/c for each post.

2) OOC type of game ---
You'd do your posts IC but it would have no w/c. This way would be quicker and more convenient. This OOC style is the way the game was supposed to be played but for the summer games since it was on an RP board the 200 w/c was enforced. But if we do it this way I think it'll be much easier. When the time comes, I'll hold a poll and we'll see what the majority want to do. Before each game takes place we will discuss #1-3 again and also discuss #1-2 again. So each time there will be a poll held before the game.

Variation choices are held in a poll in the 1st post of the OOC thread.
Also with the kind of special roles involved.
Same with the 200 w/c vs OOC-type.
