This is done to prevent users from being able to add to their trunk information without proof of achievement. Please use the form below to request any edits to your trunk post.

Student Year or Adult Level: We need to know your school year or adult level to be aware of the maximum stat points you can have.

Stat Changes: To update your stats, please post both your old and new stats here for papertrail. If you have earned stat points through sports participation, please provide a link to the stat points eligibility post in this section. Please apply for animagus stat updates here.

Coding: If you have any special coding of your trunk, include the full trunk code, including the edits here.

Important Notes: First and Second year stat caps are set at 10, meaning you cannot have a stat that exceeds 10 points. Third years have a stat cap set at 15, meaning you cannot have a stat that exceeds 15 points. For more information on the stats and their caps, please check out this link: viewtopic.php?p=101048. Also note that you cannot subtract and rearrange stat points when applying for an update - you are only able to add to existing stats (unless you are an adult).

Once you've filled out the form above and posted it here, an index staff member will get to it as soon as they're able. Please don't owl anyone asking them to expedite the process - We will work as quickly as possible, but there are a lot of you and this does take time. 

IMPORTANT NOTE

As the trunk transition project has been completed, we now request that with every trunk update you make, you edit your spells and potions out of your trunk. To reiterate—your trunk should not have a space for spells and potions.

It can take up to 10 days for your Encyclopedia Update to be approved. If you have been waiting longer than 10 days, please contact Taros Quintero or Meiyu Xiang.

Edit Logs

• 20 January 2025 – Report Card screenshot is not needed to claim the spells and potions
• 2 June 2025 – Edited out mention of report card screenshots with the points of contact.
• 1 July 2025 – Edited out mentions of spells/potions save for adding the note requesting players delete them.

We are no longer updating the spells and potions sections in user trunks. Moving forward, it is the responsibility of the player to maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of their own spells and potions.

Why this matters:
Sport team captains and event moderators may request to see a list of your spells and potions for planning or fairness purposes. You are expected to provide this list yourself. While we will no longer maintain it in your trunk, we can and will verify your claims against your inventory when necessary.

Expectations:

• Lists you provide must be accurate and truthful.
• Occasional errors are understandable, but repeated inaccuracies, especially those that give you an advantage, will be flagged.
• In cases of suspected dishonesty, event moderators or captains may consult with Admin to remove you from an event or activity.

Abilities and Stats:
You should continue to use this thread to add and update your abilities and stat points. These elements remain staff-managed.
