| ─── | It was Monday, October 3, 2022.
Yesterday he'd held the first meeting of the new year for the Clumsy Club. Today it was for another club. This time it was for the Blindfolded Club. He'd actually started it last year but hadn't been able to get enough people interested in it at the time. So he'd simply dabbled with ideas for the club during his first year and revamped it over the summer when he'd had some free time. Now that it was his second year, Kim fully intended on getting the club onto its feet this time. Unfortunately, Kim had only been able to snare two members, other than the girl who provided him with sunshine who was always around him. Damion White. Someone he'd gotten close to last year, right from the very start of his time at Hogwarts. He'd met him a few days after getting to know the first two sets of friends he'd made. Over the summer, Kim had felt close enough to Damion that he'd started to sometimes call him by a nickname. Shiro or Snowball, courtesy of his last name. Katherine Ortiz was the other member who'd signed up, a first year who'd started to attend Hogwarts a little over a month ago. He didn't really know her that well but hoped she would stay in the club. For as long as possible. They needed new members in this particular club, as it couldn't really be run that well with just three. It didn't help that 2 of those members were himself and his co-leader. To him that implied that the club sucked and no one really wanted to join it. In a perfect world, Kim would have been content with just 6 members, including him and Bailey participating in the matches. Which in turn would require the club to recruit 3 more members if they counted Katherine as staying with them. If Kim couldn't get at least 3 more members to join the club by the end of the year, the boy might end up closing it down, due to lack of interest. Kim could just move the activities into another club he owned instead, to consolidate everything. But as of right now there were still two other members with them. Kim would do his best to make things as fun as possible for them. To encourage them to stay with the club and help promote it. It was just after lunchtime, around 1PM, and Kim was dressed in a red shirt that had the word Honeydukes spelled out across his chest with a quote beneath, regarding its tasty sweets. A pair of dark jeans completed the orangehead's nice outfit. Last night he'd sent out an owl to all three members. He was expecting Bailey to come first and wasn't sure if Damion or Katherine would show up after her. But could they surprise him and change the order of which they came? It wasn't like order mattered as they only had 3 members. Yet, Kim couldn't help but be curious. He'd chosen the classroom to be where the club held its first meeting because it made sense. After all, they'd be sitting or standing and dipping their hands into something to figure out what it was. It would be more stable to have whatever it was inside something and place it on a desk. Kim had brought a variety of things with him for people to guess during their match. Hopefully, all three would show up this afternoon, or it would be a bit awkward... The classroom hadn't been decorated, other than a huge and wide club personalized banner. He'd liked the way the Clumsy Club's banner had looked and had decided to make one for all of his other clubs too. This banner had a black background and a picture of a girl and a boy wearing white blindfolds could be seen on the left side of the banner. Both were in the midst of placing their hands into a cauldron, one coming from the left and the other coming from the right side. To the right of the boy, the words Blindfolded Club in big letters was printed on the banner. Near the bottom of the banner, stretched out from the left hand side all the way to the right hand side, a quote could be seen in smaller letters. It looked great, like a work of art. 'When sight is restricted, vision becomes clear!' Those were the words that could be read on the banner. Kim had moved the tables and chairs around so that they were arranged in a better position for the club's activities. A large desk had been placed in the center of the room, which had a wide surface space that was perfect for the club. Directly in front of the large desk, a series of smaller desks with chairs were placed in a singular line. Those who sat at this location would be able to see the large desk easily from their own seats. It was perfect. Off to the side, there was a partition set up and a large rectangular table had been placed behind it. This was where the stuff that would be placed into the cauldron, on the large desk in the center of the room, would be kept until the activities started later on. Kim leaned up against one of the desks moved off to the side of the room, as they weren't being used by him, as he waited for his members to show up. The three members that belonged to this particular club. Puffie bounced excitedly up and down on the desk by his side as his little bug-eyes darted here and there. Kim debated about what to put into the cauldron for the others. He'd have Bailey choose for him as she was his co-leader. For the first time in a club he owned, Kim would be partnering up with either Katherine or Damion. |

Damion had been doing similar activities with Kim and well Bailey. He was sort of wanting to be in the same clubs with Kim so he could get to know Kim more. Like he could find out what activities the younger boy likes. He was doing stuff that peaked his interests too. He was not joining clubs that were not intriguing him. He was a interested in the Blindfolded club. He was glad that he was not scared of the dark. Well... he had not been in a situation where he was completely blindfolded. Anyways, he didn't want to think much about it and made his way to the classroom.

Oh wow! It was him and Kim. He felt his heart beat a little faster. It was no secret that Damion liked the younger Gryffindor. Oh wow! He thought again. He couldn't stop looking at the younger boy. He was taken aback by how handsome the younger boy was. he shook his head as he let the thoughts of Kim.... well tried to let the thoughts of Kim's handsomeness pass him by. Which was not easy to do.
Well he could only wish that he would get to be in a team with Kim. Wasn't that what he wanted to do when he was in a club with Kim. Mostly, Kim was the leader and he had other responsibilities. But he could still wish that Kim and Damion would be a team. "Hi Kim." He said with a smile. He was happy to have reached before anyone well except Kim. "Would we be paired?" He asked not knowing if they were going to work in pairs or not. He looked around taking in the setting of the place. He just hoped that he would be paired with Kim. He wouldn't mind being paired with someone else; but he hoped he would get Kim. "Who else is in the Club?" he asked. He was pretty sure Bailey would be there. Was he jealous of Bailey? Maybe... He had always seen Bailey with Kim mostly.

When I saw the sign-up for the club, I just had to join. It sounded exciting, and a way for me to get some new friends. You could never have too many friends, could you? I wouldn’t know, I had never been very popular at home. Many kids went out of their way to avoid me, actually. Strange things had always happened around me when I was angry. I now knew that was becuase of magic, but I hadn’t then. I suddenly panicked. Would the kids in this club accept me as a Muggleborn? I knew some people didn’t think muggleborns should go to Hogwarts, and I sometimes wondered if they were right. I tried to shake the thought, but it stayed with me the entire time while I was getting ready.
I chose an oversized white sweatshirt with NEW YORK printed across the front in big blocky letters. Along with it I chose a green headband, to represent my house. I stuck with some baggy ripped jeans and pulled on my green converse.
Right on time, I entered the classroom where two boys were already waiting, one more colorful than the other. “This the blindfold club?” I gestured to the classroom. After that was confirmed I introduced myself. “I’m Ava.” I chose not to mention my last name, knowing it carried no weight in this school.

Outfit: 2Larino had signed up for a club, well, rather his sister had signed him up for a club and he wasn't too sure if he wanted to go. 'The Blindfolded Club' it was called, and she had seemed to think that he's like it. The first year wasn't sure whether he'd enjoy himself or not, and wasn't exactly open to starting new things, but decided he'd give it a try anyway. He put on his green flannel shirt, grey trousers and hoodie to make himself look at least a little presentable, and headed down to where he thought was the right place.
He followed another student into a classroom, and she asked if it was the Blindfolded club. He decided to not say anything, and instead took a look around. He saw a boy with orange hair, and another with brown, who looked taller than the rest. As Larino stepped inside the classroom, he sinda knew he was in the right place, judging by the banner that read 'When sight is restricted, vision becomes clear!'. Hearing the girl introduce herself as Ava, Larino thought he should do the same. "Oh, and I'm... err... Larino." He squirmed at him making an utter fool of himself, but didn't bother trying to do anything. Instead, he simply walked up to a desk away from everyone, and sat on it. He quietly began to talk to himself: "I've already made yet another bad impression, why bother trying to change it?"Post layout and graphics by Larino Arveli

Monday, October third. Another day, another club meeting.
This was the first meeting ever of the blindfold club, if bailey was remembering correctly. there could have been other meetings, bailey realized, before she was a member. and before Kim took over as president
Bailey showed up early for the meeting. She had no food, besides some random cookies and snacks in her bag. Also in her bag bailey had a journal, her notebook and pastry design notebook, a book to read, some spare parchment, and some writing utensils, both muggle and magical.
Entering the classroom, Bailey said a cheerful "hello kim!!!! hiiiiiii puffie!!" as she walked across the room. She gave kim a quick hug, before stopped to crouch down to pet puffie.
After saying her hellos, and answering any questions or responding to any comments Kim might make, Bailey settled into the back corner of the classroom to finish off answering the last few questions of her homework. As an effort to be early bailey had just paused her homework, and brought it with her.
She was still in the corner when @Damion White entered, and he did not notice Bailey. @Ava Winchect entered next, and seemed eager about the club.
@Larino Arveli was the most recent person to enter, and he seemed slightly nervous.
Finishing her homework, Bailey stood up and approached the group of people, smiling and saying "hello everyone! It is so awesome to see all of you here!"

He greeted him and Kim inclined his head towards his friend as Damion expressed interest in pairing up. The orange haired teen thought for a moment and then nodded, giving his consent to do so. "Sure. Since there aren't many members in this club, I'll probably have to take part too in order to make things more fun. If you don't mind having me for a partner, we could definitely be paired up together this time." Kim told him with a slight twitch of his lips. As Damien asked who else was in the club, the orangehead tilted his head to the side, thinking about it. Of course, he didn't really have to think..... He already knew there was only one other person besides Damion that wasn't the leader or co-leader of the club. But that was just sad to think about. With him pausing, as if he was considering the question, it made it seem less pathetic. "Other than my co-leader, it's only you and Katherine." He told him and was about to suggest Damion take a seat when a girl opened the door and entered the classroom. Not Katherine. Kim felt a surge of hope run through him. Maybe the club did have some potential to remain active this year. The girl introduced herself as Ava. She even mentioned the Blindfolded Club, which meant she'd seen the posters on the bulletin board. This was great! Not long after Ava's entrance, someone else entered behind her. This time it was a boy. "Welcome, Ava and Larino! Yes, this is the Blindfolded Club, it's our first ever meeting and I hope we can all get along together. I think Katherine is running a little late, so we'll probably get started now and she can jump in later if she decides to come." Kim said and beckoned for Bailey to come over to him from where she currently was in the back, trying to get a bit of homework done... During the time it took for Bailey to come over to him, Kim overheard Larino talking to himself nearby. Even though Larino had chosen to take a seat at one of the further away desks, Kim did tend to have good hearing, he'd always had this particular skill. After all, how could you eavesdrop on people with bad hearing? It appeared as if Larino knew Japanese too.... He reminded him a little of Taizu and Kim let his blue eyes flicker over the younger one. A faint twitch of his lips could be seen..."Don't worry, you're fine. As long as you don't try and create chaos and break school rules, you can't make a bad impression!" "This club isn't too strict either, it's more of a come and have fun type of club. You might be faced with some challenges but they're fun ones!" Once Bailey came over to join the rest of them, Kim got the meeting started so things didn't get too stagnant. "For those of you who aren't already seated, please take a seat behind one of the desks lined up in a horizontal row. Once you're seated, let's go around and introduce ourselves. Just basic things, like name, year + House." "But you can include anything else you want to as well. Also, if you have any particular ideas for things we can use in the club, feel free to make them known! If you don't have any ideas, that's perfectly fine too." Kim paused and then pulled up a desk and chair combination to face the others. He twirled it around so that the back was facing his club members and then sat down so that his legs were facing them. "Some of you already know me. For those who don't, you can call me Kim....." "I'm the founder and current leader of the Blindfolded Club that you are all now a part of, for as long as you wish to be. I'm also a second year Gryffindor and part of the dueling team. I started this club because I thought it would be a kind of fun getaway from the stress that builds up from classes, homework and your studies. Hopefully, you will all have fun at the club and it will be a success." Kim said and then nodded at his audience, waiting for someone else to go. Puffie had hopped onto the large desk at the center of the room, where the large cauldron was and was currently staring up at it curiously. As he was behind Kim, the latter couldn't see what he was up to. |

Kim and damion were talking as bailey finished her homework and put her things away. A girl, Ava, entered, and Bailey smiled, knowing she wasn't on the current member list. WOO NEW MEMBERS she thought, as she made her way over to kim. Another boy also entered, adding to their numbers.
Kim talked in what sounded like Japanese, to a first year boy, as bailey walked up to the group.
Kim got them started on introductions, and after he finished he waited for someone else to go. bailey took it upon herself to go next, as she was his co, she thought it was only right.
Bailey stood up and said with a smile "hello and welcome!! My name is Bailey - Bailey Glade!!! i am a third year, Ravenclaw, and i am the co owner of this club by defalt! I love baking and food, and am a total book worm. Despite this i love social activities and am a social butterfly, and i love talking - so if you ever want to chat, just stop me in the corridor and I’d love to talk!!

For the members to introduce themselves to everyone. But maybe they were all relatively shy about doing so. As Bailey went ahead and took the initiative, Kim glanced over at her. "Thanks for always being by my side, Bailey. I don't usually express myself with words often but I do appreciate it." He told the girl, wondering again whether this club was such a good idea. Unlike the other clubs, this one didn't seem to get a lot of traction. Could it be because the subject material was too uninteresting? Or maybe it was because it was too scary for others? Kim wasn't entirely sure. That was when Puffie squeaked a lot in the background. Attention drawn back over to the large cauldron, the orange haired teen saw the pink pygmy puff dangling precariously off the side of the item. He was part in and part out of the cauldron. Puffie's little feet were scrambling to grab onto the edges of the cauldron. "Puffie! What are you doing!" Kim exclaimed and turned around to scoop his beloved pet out of the cauldron, how had he gotten into it in the first place?!, and set him onto his shoulder. "Don't go snooping around like that!" The boy said with a shake of his head. Turning back to the members, Kim waited again. Surely by now someone would have gathered enough courage to make their introductions, right? |

Ava could tell that Kim was trying to get the meeting to work, despite the few members. She guessed that this club was new. Very new, considering that there was only 4 people.
Ava introduced herself, and the boy welcomed her to the meeting, as well as another Slytherin boy who had arrived along with her.
She saw another girl with blond hair (@Bailey Glade) who she didn’t yet know, and a way older kid (@Damion White) who looked pretty imperious and daunting, who she hoped to avoid. And then there was @Larino Arveli, who introduced himself as he arrived right after her.
The leader instructed them to take a seat and share about themselves, and Ava found one quickly, as far away from the oldest boy as she could (Damion).
The leader introduced himself as Kim, and she greeted him brightly. “Nice to meet you, Kim!” She smiled, glad to finally know his name, as he already knew hers. He was only a second year, he revealed, which would explain how new the club was.
The blond girl went next, and introduced herself as Bailey. “Nice to meet you, Bailey!” she greeted the girl just as brightly as she had Kim. The girl was a third yer, which was surprising because Ava didn’t find the girl near as daunting as the older boy she had separated herself from. Bailey made a comment about being co-leader by default, and Ava puzzled over what that meant. We’re Bailey and Kim a … package deal? You get one, you get both type thing?
Ava decided to go next. “Hi, I’m Ava--” she again left out her last name. “--and I’m a first year slytherin.” While the other two had gone more into depth about themselves, Ava left it at that, not wanting the older boy (Damion) to have access to any excess information about herself. She shot a glance at him furtively, hoping he wouldn’t sense how much she shrank in his presence.
