Winifred's animagus form possesses the trade-mark copper fur of a Duck Tolling Retriever, but her animagus' form has rather striking sky-blue eyes that resemble Winifred's natural form. She has a white underbelly, and a strip of white on her snout, which is pink. Traditionally Tollers have either brown or green eyes. Winifred is also quite a bit smaller than normal Tollers, standing at 43 cm tall rather than the usual 48 cm, a reflection of her natural form's small stature. From the nose to the tip of her tail she measures 65 cm. She weighs in at 17 kg.

Her parents met while her mother was on holiday in Dublin to visit Irish relatives. Her parents own a farm around an hour outside of Dublin. During her childhood, Finn had given up all but practical magic because he believed in living a simple farm life and thought magic makes wizards far too lazy. In reality, he was tired of listening to his maternal grandmother's views on muggles and decided that wizarding society was toxic. Because of this, Winnie only had limited knowledge about magic during her childhood. She would often sneak into her house's attic to read her father's old school books and books that her paternal grandparents had given her.𝕭ecause of her magical background, Winnie's parents decided to home-school her instead of sending her to a Muggle school, as her father worried about possible underage magic. Her mother quit her job as an art teacher and stayed at home to teach her about the Muggle world; including mathematics, language, history, science, music, and art. Art was very important within the Harper household, as it is something Saorise has always been passionate about. She taught Winnie the basics of painting, poetry, and singing. Because the Harpers own a farm Winnie grew up with multiple 'pets'; several sheep, goats, and chickens. Her family also owns two border collie dogs, Spot and Dot, and barn cats; Jennipurr, Clawdia, and Catsby. Her mother also grows a variety of crops on the farm, as well as fields of flowers and a small orchard. 𝕺n Winnie's eighth birthday her father had asked her to finish her chores around the farm. Winnie complained because she felt like she shouldn't have to do chores on her birthday, but he told her that the animals didn't care and they still needed their breakfast. Winnie reluctantly agreed, but couldn't help fuming about the altercation as she went about her morning chores. Ten minutes later, while entering the chicken coop, she found that a bin full of chicken seed was flying about the barn and dumping seeds randomly on poor unsuspecting chickens. 𝖂innie's paternal Grandparents live in Dublin and run a small second hand book store, 'Gobbledy Books', with a hidden stash of wizarding books behind a door that only appears to wizards/witches. When Winnie was not helping her parents with the farm, she was often visiting her Grandparents. It was here that she met her best friend, Jack Warren, at the age of six. His parents lived down the street and owned a pub. Jack was Winnie's only playmate growing up, and she was unaware that he was a wizard. It was quite a surprise for her to see him at Hogwarts. Her maternal grandparents live in London and are retired. Before attending Hogwarts, she spent her summers with them. Her grandparents had no idea about Winnie or Finn's magic until an owl crashed through their living room to deliver Winnie's Hogwarts letter. They were quite cross with their daughter for keeping such a large secret from them, but ultimately were accepting. |

Saoirse Davies
ꕤ ꕤ ꕤ ꕤ ꕤ ꕤ ꕤ English | Muggle Reducio Saoirse met Winnie's father, Fionn, while she was on holiday in Dublin, Ireland. She walked into his parent's store to purchase a book and they bumped into each other. He noticed she was purchasing a book on gardening and told her that he owned a farm outside of town and couldn't seem to keep any of his flowers alive. He asked if she had any suggestions. After a month of dating, Fionn revealed he was a wizard, much to Saoirse's shock. At first, she ran back to London but quickly returned to Ireland after Fionn chased after her. The rest was history. Winnie and her mother are very much alike in both appearance and personality. Often the two get into arguments, but it cannot be helped given how similar they are. She misses her mother dearly and often writes letters home to her. After Winnie's father left, Saoirse moved in to Winnie's grandparent's house and hired farm hands to tend to the farm for the summer while she grieved. She has since returned to the farm but has downsized their livestock to make the work more manageable.

ꕤ ꕤ ꕤ ꕤ ꕤ ꕤ ꕤ Irish | Pureblood Reducio When Fionn met Saoirse he was interested in learning how Muggles cared for their plants, as he wanted to rely less and less on his own magic and live off the land. He lied and told her that he couldn't seem to grow flowers and invited her to dinner so she could share her secrets with him. Ironically, he was unwilling to share his secret with her for the first month of their relationship. Eventually, after the truth came out and she fled, he jumped on his broomstick to fly after her, deciding that some things were worth using magic for. The rest was history. Winnie and her father do not always get along because he has little to no interest in using his magic for day-to-day chores. She was always curious about it and he often brushed her off, stating that she would learn what she needed at Hogwarts because he wasn't comfortable using his own magic. Now and then, he'd share stories with her about his time at Hogwarts, the friends he made there, and what she could expect when she attended school. During Winnie's first year of school, Fionn left her mother. His whereabouts are currently unknown to his family, but he has been travelling Europe to reconnect with his wizarding roots. In her fifth year, Winnie discovered that her father had another child by a different woman. That child was her upperclassman, Evelynn Decipio, who she has embraced as her sister. Fionn reached out to reconnect with Winnie when he heard about her engagement to Mathias Pride. The reunion was bitter sweet, and less than two months later, on Feb. 11th, 2025, Fionn passed away after he accidentally mixed his potion ingredients with his food.

Orla (née Hemlock) and Sean Harper Irish | Purebloods Reducio The parents of Fionn, Orla (née Hemlock) and Sean run a small second-hand bookstore located in Dublin called 'Gobbledy Books'. The bookstore sells both Muggle and Wizarding books. Near the back of the store was a wooden door with a sign that read ‘Employee Bathroom’ was a secret passageway that would open up to reveal the wizardry section. To muggles it would appear to be just that— an unsuspecting bathroom, but to the members of the wizarding world a quick flick of their wand once inside would reveal another shop. Winnie spent most of her weekends at her grandparents reading magic books and discussing the wizarding world with them, since her father was reluctant to talk about her experience. They view their son as a bit of a hippy and wishes he would stop this nonsense about not using his magic, at least for Winnie's sake. It was at her Grandparent's store that she would meet a young Jack Warren, the boy who would become her best friend and only playmate during her childhood. Since she started attending Hogwarts, Winnie's grandparents send her monthly packages full of new novels for her to read. They also send her a monthly allowance (which is how I explain my shop wealth in character). They bought her a new broom when they discovered Winnie had joined the Ravenclaw Quidditch team.

Audrey and Emmett † Davies English | Muggles Reducio The couple live in London, England and are both retired. Audrey is a former nurse and Emmett is a former business man. Winnie often spends her summers at their house. She enjoys playing Muggle board games with them, and has learned about Muggle history from them as well. Emmett has played the guitar since he was a young teenager and he and Winnie often have jam sessions during the late summer nights. Originally Winnie's grandparents didn't known she or her father were magical. They were shocked to find out that Winnie was a witch and capable of such power. At first, Emmett refused to believe it. Fionn had to reluctantly show him a bit of magic before he would take them seriously. Despite their shock, they were very accepting of Fionn's roots, only wishing that their step-son had told them sooner. Winnie writes to her grandparents, but Audrey complains that she'll never get used to the owls, stating they always scare her. Regardless, she receives sweets from her grandparents regularly. Emmett passed away after battling cancer during the start of Winnie's fourth year. Winnie's Grandmother ended up moving in with Saoirse in Dublin after living on her own for a year.
