Holiday Wishes and Gifts PV Closed

Note: This is very late, apologies.
A day or two after winter break had started, several of Winnie Harper's friends might find themselves greeted by her paternal grandparent's owl tapping on their window. If the recipient allowed the owl inside, it would drop a letter and a small package off before flying once more into the open sky.

If the envelope was opened, a card was inside. It was a cheesy traditional personalized Christmas card, complete with a photo of Winnie and her mother, Saoirse Harper. The glossy photo might be noticeably still to any of her non-muggleborn/half-blood friends. It had obviously been taken with a muggle camera. Each person's gift was different and hand-selected by Winnie for them.

Text: Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
With light and love from Saorise and Winnie Harper.

What would Christmas be without a cringy gift sent from one's girlfriend? It was difficult to buy for the boy who likely had everything he wanted, but Winnie did have an advantage; a culture that Mathias was not a part of. No, not Irish culture, but rather her muggle upbringing.
His gift would be the largest, if he were to open it, he would discover a brightly coloured monstrosity that Winnie had built at one of those plushie stores; Build-a-Bear. The scent of strawberries might attack his nostrils, as she had placed a scent disc inside the bear's head. If one were to press the heart embroidered hand, they would hear Winnie's voice proclaiming, "MERRY CHRISTMAS, MATTIE!"
To top it all off, the bear was wearing an equally bright outfit. It was obviously meant to be a stuffed-animal-version of Winnie Harper herself.

If the first gift wasn't enough to dazzle the boy, she had also sent a box full of muggle candies and chocolates, and beneath that was a book. It was one that Cain had suggested she give her boyfriend.

Last, but certainly not least, was a gift in a small jewelry box. A claddagh ring, likely in his exact size. How had Winnie received this information? Had she secretly measured his finger when he was not looking? Or simply remembered its size? Who knows. This gift, however, had a note attached. Likely so the poor boy wouldn't have a panic attack assuming she was trying to propose to him.
Dear Matt,
This ring is called a Claddagh ring. In my culture, it is tradition to give one to someone you care about. Sometimes it is given by family, sometimes by lovers, sometimes by friends. The hands on the ring represent friendship, the heart love, and the crown loyalty.
Love,
Winnie.

If Santario opened her gift from Winnie, she would discover a soft, medium-sized silver fox plushie and a note from Winnie.

@Aurora Ranvier

Aurora's present was quite curious. Inside was a plushie of what looked like a screaming pink slug. It was weird but interesting enough. If anyone would appreciate it, it was Aurora.

She had found a watch for her childhood friend, not just any watch, but the kind that did not rely on batteries and was a wind-up. The surface was rather breath-taking, with an image that displayed a sprinkling of stars across a tapestry of deep blue.

Willow's present had to be just as cute as she was, and when Winnie had spotted this in one of the stores, she knew it belonged on her friend's finger. It was a silver ring with two silver frogs posing on the opposite ends of a beautiful peridot.

@Flash Holmwood

For someone who was a known book-lover, Winnie selected a novel by the same author of Carrie, Stephen King. It was arguably one of his most famous works; the Shining.

Instead of going for a plushie, this time Winnie selected a gold bracelet that was decorated with stars. It reminded her of the ceiling of her dorm room, and how beautifully Dee had decorated the place during their Yule celebration.

Winnie did not know much about fashion past her own fashion sense, but when she spotted a vintage scarf in one of the stores her grandmother visited, she knew she had to grab it for the Hogwarts resident fashionista.

@Cain Corvus

Cain received a small box that held a few chocolate frogs, but on top was a gift certificate for Honeydukes, allowing him to purchase more.

@Leonard Oaksworth

Leonard's gift had to inspire the boy, and though it was a bit traditional, Winnie thought he would enjoy owning a new leather bound journal to write all of his poems in. It even had a beautiful pattern on the front that would hopefully be to his liking.

@Marshal Mozor

When Winnie was searching for a journal for Leonard, she happened to find a gift for Marshal as well. It was also a leather bound journal, with a small sword displayed on the cover. For the boy who was as brave as a knight, but had the soul of a poet, it seemed like the perfect gift.

... @Levi Drakos

It was with great reluctance that Winnie selected a gift for the guitar-playing Gryffindor who had apparently erased her memory. Although her family knew about her memory loss, she had not told them it was caused by a fellow student in fear that her family would send her to a different school. After seeing the necklace she had received for her birthday, her family practically had forced the girl to buy her classmate a gift. It was apparently 'polite'.

She spent a while selecting something she thought the boy would like but also was not personalized enough to make it seem like she cared. Because she didn't. It was a leather bound notebook that might interest a guitar lover such as himself. On the first page she had written a simple note:
We're even now.

OOC Note: You do not have to respond, but feel free to! Also, a lot of this relies on whether or not it would be possible for the Harper's owl to find you. If you feel for some reason it would be unable to, please disregard this. Godmodding is not my intention. If you would still like the gift, feel free to say that Winnie gave it to you once the Holiday break was over.
