History

XXXGrowing up, Eonaria was just like any other child, though she did have a penchant for absorbing new information like a sponge. She loved to stay inside, studying every bit of magic and wonder she could find, though she obviously couldn't do any of it yet. Her family often wondered why she didn't go outside and play a bit more often. Though Eonaria preferred reading, she also appreciated the joy of playing mini Quidditch and taking walks amidst nature. Eonaria spent lots of time teaching herself to sing and even took lessons for it. Her singing style is more operatic than anything else. Nowadays, when Eonaria is studying by herself, she will always be singing some kind of song. She often does this without realizing, which can get her in trouble in libraries. Whoops.
XXXShe also liked spending time with her twin brother, Raiame, though he spent much more time getting more involved in magic theory that he convinced their parents to begin teaching him. Raiame was rather moody and didn’t always enjoy his little sister’s hyperactive joy, though he was still passively affectionate towards her. Eonaria considers him her closest family member.
XXXAt 6 years old, Eonaria was playing in the backyard with a toy broom and a Quaffle. She threw it up in the wrong direction and it became stuck in a nearby tree's branches. As her father was at the Ministry, her mother was busy researching, her brother was buried in the library, and the house elf, Kimpy, was busy cooking lunch, Eonaria attempted to climb the tree to get the Quaffle down. After a few moments of struggling, the tree's branches bent themselves over to allow her to retrieve the Quaffle.

Eonaria is the epitome of sweetness at home. There, she acts much younger than she is, jumping around with excitement. She is a very naive person. Her first year at Hogwarts is the first time Eonaria is exposed to many different people at once. She is extremely startled at the way certain people behave.

She always knew the world wasn't all sunshine and rainbows, but Hogwarts was when reality truly hit her. Since then, she has changed, shifting back into the values of her family as a subconscious way to protect herself. Eonaria can get extremely attached to her friends, relying on them as a second family. Eonaria is surprisingly good at acting, with an excellent poker face when she really tries, but whenever she lets down her guard, she is a completely open book. She often forgets to control her expressions.
Her parents gave her everything she needed, food, shelter, knowledge, curiousity, and the ability to think outside of the box, but all Eonaria truly wants is a constant flow of love. She is all too happy to give love back, platonically, of course, but she often gets caught up in her emotions.
Eonaria overreacts a lot, brimming with enthusiasm, and gets embarrassed easily around strangers. She enjoys helping others but ends up code-switching a lot. Although she holds the rules in high regard, when she is passionate about something, that Gryffindor bravery really begins to shine through. She can be quite nervous around people that she believes are "higher" than her, whether it be professors, adults, taller people in general, or people she respects.
Eonaria doesn't think of herself as a Gryffindor and thought she would get into Ravenclaw. At least she's not in Slytherin, where she would be tempted to hide behind her brother all the time.

Following a bewildering conversation with her brother that leaves Eonaria confused and in a pre-teen crisis, she becomes a little more volatile. She tries to keep up pretenses with her friends, but it keeps coming back to her. Eonaria spends more time in her dorm, avoiding most contact with newer people.
Despite her usually bright personality, Eonaria feels an odd detachment with the world. She longs for someone who can truly connect with her on an emotional level. Although she knows many people and is in a positive relationship with most of them, Eonaria feels quite lonely. She's beginning to wonder if the excitement she feels most of the time is even real.

After a somewhat gloomy phase, Eonaria is back to excitement and smiles, though she is trying to tone it down and focus on her studies. Ooh, healers' internship! ...oh, no more healers' internship. Eonaria deflates in disappointment. She is more determined, but still tends to focus on the present too much.
<---------------July 1, 2025--------------->
Eonaria is pretty lonely, and is drawing back into the family-orientated stuff as her parents refuse to let her and her brother go to summer camp. She holds a bit of bitterness from the detention that she got from a moment of impulsivity, and resolves not to be caught unawares in easily avoidable situations. Most of the summer is spent quietly, and she starts to mellow out. A little less overreaction, a little more confidence.
<---------------September 1, 2025--------------->
Now a second year, Eonaria hopes to act as a role model to the firsties. She doesn't think she's very good at it though, and tries to behave like someone she herself would look up to. It kind of works? Maybe?
Eonaria comes to terms with her house placement. Although mildly disappointed at a missed opportunity at getting into Ravenclaw, she knows that if she had the choice, she would stay in Gryffindor. Despite certain rambunctious classmates, it feels like home to her. She is excited to continue her journey at Hogwarts.

She usually wears a neutral expression during her daily life. Some of her friends tell her that it looks like she's constantly frowning. Eonaria isn't very good at controlling her emotions when they are strong, which is most of the time, and can be quite nervous. It often shows on her face, but only when she's around her friends, unless she forgets to put her guard up. Eonaria fidgets with her hair a lot. She has a dyed streak on the right side of her hair. (green in first year, blue in second year)

Eonaria's mother, Tomomi Kabukimono, is a cold woman, but never fails to give guidance and care to those who need it. She is often seen as distant and unapproachable and rarely expresses affection through conventional ways. Instead, Tomomi shows her love using acts of service, such as raising the children and taking care of them. She always prioritizes her family above all else, and her reserved demeanor hides an incredibly perceptive mind. She no longer works as a Potion Master, but still spends part of her free time brewing all kinds of potions. She carries the Kabukimono bloodline.

Eonaria's father, Aquila Kabukimono, hardly ever succumbs to the stress he is under while he works at the Ministry in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement as part of the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad. He is dedicated to his career and his children, serving as a mentor and the solid foundation of the family. Aquila often encourages the children to explore their own paths by using the knowledge of others, hence the incredibly studious attitudes of his children.

Raiame is Eonaria's twin brother, born approximately seven minutes before Eonaria. He can come off as harsh and critical, but he does feel genuine affection towards Eonaria. He would never be nice to her face, but as soon as danger approaches, he snaps into big brother mode to protect those he loves. Raiame can be pretty condescending when he wants to be, often reducing Eonaria to tears. He spends much of his time researching obscure topics in the library, reviewing his notes, and speaking to his housemates. He was sorted into Slytherin.

Unfortunately, Raiame discovered his Eonaria's Parseltongue ability through an irritated letter from his father. "If your air headed Gryffindor sister somehow inherited the ability to speak Parseltongue, how have you made it into Slytherin yet failed to obtain it as well?? You two are twins, for Merlin's sake!" This caused a touch of resentment to linger in his attitude for a few months.

An adorable kitty! Aquaenala is a Maine Coon-Kneazle mix, resulting in a playful, loyal cat. Thick, fluffy light grey fur makes for the best cuddles! She also has darker grey streaks and white tail fluff. She loves swimming, eating, exploring, and squishing herself into places she shouldn't be. Aquaenala is a big kitty, weighing at 28 pounds. Eonaria really, really loves her.
