XXXIt was a sunny afternoon, and Eonaria had been at Diagon Alley for quite some time. She reunited with her family after a quick detour and was sparkling with excitement about all the new books she was finally allowed to read when she glanced back down at her list and found that she had not gotten her school robes yet. Eonaria immediately deflated with a sigh.

XXX"Aw, uniforms..." Being forced to wear the same thing to class every day sounded like a nightmare! At least give me some variation! Everything's boring and black and everyone's indistinguishable except their heads... and sometimes we're wearing boring black hats! She sulked for a moment longer before her brother swatted her. "Stop moping. It doesn't look good." Eonaria frowned at him.

XXXThey finally arrived at one of their last stops: Madam Malkin. Eonaria brightened as she spotted the colorful fabrics in the window... only to notice the other soon-to-be first years leaving with plain, black robes. She sighed in disappointment, earning her another nudge from her brother as they entered the shop. The line consisted of only a few people, so at least she didn't have to wait that long.

XXXHer brother stood behind her, and just waiting was getting very awkward. Eonaria turned to the girl in front of her and asked in a whisper, "Hi there. First year, too? What house do you think you'll be in?" The girl was very pretty. The store was fairly quiet, save for the comments of Madam Malkin, who was taking measurements for the person at the front of the line.
