How Am I Still Lost??
After that particularly unfortunate incident in Moaning Myrtle's bathroom(which she had managed to locate on her map), Eonaria wandered until she eventually found the Great Hall. There was not soul in sight(her statement was technically incorrect, as a lone ghost hovered in the corner, but she didn't feel like talking to ghosts after, ahem, screaming and slamming the door on Moaning Myrtle. Whaaat? Of course that didn't happen. She wasn't that undignified), so she gave up and headed out the front doors. Barefoot, unfortunately, since after she took off her shoes to avoid walking in water from the flooded bathroom, she sat down somewhere and forgot to take her shoes with her. How did that happen? ..she had no idea.
Her first look out the castle grounds in the daytime that wasn't through a window took her breath away. Across a wide stretch of bright green grass lay a marvelous lake whose surface rippled and glittered brightly under the sunlight. Eonaria would totally swim in that lake if not for the numerous magical creatures in there. She definitely should've brought her cat, Aquaenala, from home, but she was a just a bit too large to go unnoticed on the Muggle Underground or whatever that was called.
Her gaze landed on the Forbidden Forest in the distance and almost wished she could just wander in- not too deep, of course- she was in enough trouble for unintentionally skipping every single class she had that day(hey, no one told her where to go). Eonaria stood and beamed in the fresh air until she felt like an idiot. Resigning herself to probably a lot of detention once she found someone, she took her map out, finally knowing where she was. After peering at the front entrance and tracing paths in the castle for a lengthy period of time, she finally decided on the best way to get to the Gryffindor common room. Now, as long as she didn't get tripped up by those moving staircases... honestly, what if someone walked right off one of those platforms?? Her parents should have warned her about those and maybe taught her a levitating charm... Eonaria turned around and headed back inside, determined to get to her destination. Also perhaps finding her shoes along the way.
