Physical description
hair: Kim's natural hair color is black but he dyes it on a regular basis and usually wears it loose or styled using gel. The length differs from time to time.
eyes: He has almond-shaped blue eyes that change shades depending on the time of day and the amount of light where he is. They sparkle when talking about Valentin Schnell or something he is excited about. He also has a beauty spot under his left eyelid.
features: Kim's lower lip is full and his upper lip is normal, adhering to beauty standards. He has flat, voluminous, shaped, straight and magnificent eyebrows that add meaning to the appearance of his almond-shaped eyes. He has a slim, shaped nose. Kwan says Kim has her face and Hiro's nose. Due to his upbringing, he usually tends to have good posture. It was drilled into him at an early age as a pureblood.
height: At 15 years old, he is one of the tallest in his class standing at 5'10" with a deceptively muscular toned build beneath his clothes.
skin: His skin is fair and slightly tanned during summer time. It also tends to glow.
clothing: Kim loves fashion and enjoys wearing a variety of outfits from time to time, along with different accessories. He doesn't like wearing the same thing every day with the exception of Val's Durmstrang uniform, which he wears as often as possible. It reminds him of Val and acts as a substitute for him when he is gone. He usually walks around with designer items and enchanted satchels and backpacks.

Mental description
overly curious: Kim has an insatiable curiosity and has had it ever since he was born. It always tends to get him into trouble. With this curiosity also comes a thirst for knowledge, like the Ravenclaw he is inside. As a result, Kim picked up a variety of useful skills, including languages, music, singing, sketching, cooking, baking, painting and composing music. This in turn has led to him becoming quite well-rounded.
prankster: He has always had a talent for playing pranks on others. But Kim also has other abilities that are useful in this regard as well, such as the art of eavesdropping and being a perfectionist. The latter comes in handy because most of his pranks are well thought out and have almost no chance of failure, unless he's caught by a superior. He also enjoys competing and teasing others on a regular basis which gives him joy.
intelligent: Kim is talented when it comes to spells and as a perfectionist he rarely fails at casting one. But whether it hits his intended target or not is a different story. He also loves to read in order to gain knowledge and can be found reading books quite often.
patient: He is very patient when it comes to others, knowing everyone learns things at their own pace. Kim even tries to help those who appear to fall behind if he notices.
vindictive: Being a perfectionist, Kim usually has control over his emotions. But sometimes, he tends to say things without thinking when something bothers him. It is hard to make him mad, as he usually relies on his wit to get back at you with words, or if it's too early, he tends to ignore you. But when he does get mad, it always ends in chaos. He is much like his parents in this aspect and will go on a vengeance spree, until he gets what he wants. Kim's chosen method is to bug them to death on a consistent basis, using every means at his disposal to do so. It is only when the target breaks down crying or gets into trouble with a prefect or authority figure that Kim will consider ending it all.
enjoys fine arts: Music is something he grew attached to at an early age. It also helped him out when he was at his lowest point and from then on, it would forever become an important part of his life. He is very talented at composing and writing songs and will probably continue to do so for a long time. It gives him happiness and sets him at ease whenever he writes songs or sings any type of music. Music is very good for the soul.

When Kim gives his word to do something, he never breaks it. But it's hard to get him to say, "I give you my word." or "You have my word." If he says anything else it usually means he'll try to do it but there are no guarantees. He doesn't tend to trust others easily due to what his parents taught him but will usually be polite, unless there's a reason for him not to be. Kim doesn't volunteer information about himself, preferring to keep quiet. He likes to read books, cook and bake, compose music, design and model clothes, listen to people converse and watch others practice magic. He likes to draw and sketch but doesn't want to become an artist as it's just a hobby he enjoys doing now and then. One of his favorite past-times is taking care of plants and herbs as Herbology has always been his favorite subject. Kim's favorite season is autumn and his favorite colors are black and blue, although he tells his parents they are green and red, their personal House colors, pretty much to keep them from fighting.

Kim enjoys spending time with those he's formed a bond with and is very loyal when someone DOES become his friend and will always protect them, regardless of the consequences. He is very straightforward and doesn't see the need to 'beat around the bush', either people can take the truth or they can't take it. Why would you lie about it? He doesn't like to coddle others and likes being alone. But Kim also craves social contact too, despite how ironic that is due to his social anxiety condition. Maybe this is why he ends up creating or running clubs all the time at Hogwarts, to face his problem head-on and get better.

Most of the time when people think he's 'flirting' with someone, he probably won't be. For some reason, he is extremely good at flirting (not that he knows this). But when it comes to himself, he just doesn't see himself as desirable. Other than people going after him because they know his family name and want to take advantage of him, or they like his good looks. Regardless, they don't like him. They like his exterior or what they can get from him. Kim comes across as very confident when he 'flirts' because he doesn't realize he's actually doing it at the time. On the rare occasion that he DOES take the initiative to flirt, he isn't sure of himself and ends up feeling uncertain. He might have confidence at first but if the person he's hitting on flirts back, he'll get nervous, shy, become clumsy and may even start to blink rapidly. Unless, he knows they doesn't truly mean their words and are just messing with him. If this is the case, Kim is more relaxed.

He doesn't like physical contact unless he is the one to initiate it and has an extreme kind of social anxiety. However, the attacks only come when he's in close proximity with large crowds of people (more than 4 at a time), especially those he doesn't know. He also tends to have insomnia at random times and isn't sure what causes this condition inside him. Due to the shampoo he uses, you'll find he smells like lavender, sage or thyme, depending on what shampoo is available, with a hint of vanilla. It's a brand he's used all his life and prefers this scent over any others. When he can't get this one, he'll use a rosemary-mint scented one, and add his own vanilla in, a great homemade concoction. Don't wake him up early in the morning, before 10AM, or he'll snap at you, as he's a complete night owl. Originally, it was 11AM but it's gotten better over time for him.

Kim is severely allergic to cats, needing to take allergy potions on a regular basis when felines are in the area. Not to mention the fact that he's had numerous traumatic experiences regarding cats. Such as visiting a relative and having her cat stalk and pounce on him, which resulted in a sneezing fit that lasted for an hour and totally drained him. As a result of this, he developed an aversion to sneezing, as it reminds him of that time. Kim also stays away from cats in general. Of course, Kim's trauma towards cats does not just stem from the above events. Kwan (Kim's mother) happens to be an Animagus and her form is of a Siamese cat. Back in the past, she tended to punish Kim in one of two ways. Through his fear of heights or by turning into a cat and locking herself in the room with him for 24 hrs, forbidding him use of allergy potions. Despite this trauma, Kim still ends up getting into trouble due to his insatiable curiosity but not nearly as often once Kwan had employed this technique. He doesn't have a death wish!

He is deathly afraid of heights. As a baby Hiro (Kim's father) was using the levitation charm to play with him by holding him really high up in the air and darting him around in the air. Kwan distracted him and he dropped the baby on its head and Kim's body and inner self remembers this, even if he himself does not. After Kim grew up a bit, as a child he was playing with some kids and they accidentally ended up falling off a cliff together. Then there was another time where he fell out of a tree and hurt himself, which was swiftly taken care of through magical healers. But the trauma remained with him. And at last, there was the incident where his mother was punishing him one day by dangling him out of the window, directly after having punished him in cat form, thus his trauma regarding cats and heights were further developed inside his mind. He tends to freeze for awhile if he's more than a foot off the ground and it takes him some time to recover. It doesn't help that his father constantly tries to get him used to heights all the time, hoping he'd eventually become a great Quidditch player like him. This in turn makes it even more traumatizing for him. But Kim doesn't like ever disappointing his parents.

So he does his best to please them as often as possible.

Ailments
cat allergy/trauma: Kim has a severe allergy when it comes to cats and although a common allergy like this could usually be cured through use of special potions, it did not seem to fully work on him. Thus, it is thought his allergy is a combination of a common one and a magical one, making it impossible to fully cure at the time. Kim alleviates the allergy symptoms by using potions but tries not to do so too often because he does not want to become dependent upon them. Not only does he have this allergy but he also has trauma when it comes to cats in general, specifically because of Kwan's cat punishments and also from the cats belonging to some of the other members of his family.
insomnia: He developed this condition around a year before attending Hogwarts. It most likely has to do with extreme stress as he does not have it all of the time.
social anxiety: Kim has problems when it comes to being around large groups of people, something he's been dealing with from an early age. If he is present in a group of more than 4 people, he tends to get panic attacks sometimes. Thankfully, this does not happen all of the time, it happens randomly, but he always has to be on his guard.
heights: Ever since the time he fell off a cliff with some childhood friends, Kim's been afraid of heights. It all just built up inside him from when he was a baby and got dropped on his head by Hiro, how Kwan dangled him out of the window, and then the cliff incident... well, the cliff was the last straw that broke him. Ever since then, he's been scared of heights and freezes if he's more than a foot off the ground. Not good for flying.
darkness: Kim gets scared when he's in complete darkness as his mind keeps playing tricks on him and makes him think something loud is going to pop near him. But he doesn't mind partial darkness as you can see a little bit in that kind of situation.
sudden loud noises: He hates sudden loud noises as they freak him out. This does not apply to dueling usually as Kim expects there to be loud noises as it's a duel. It's more like if he hears a really loud noise and he's not expecting it, that's when it will scare him.

Psyche
orientation: Kim originally didn't pay much attention to this as a child but as he grew up, he believed he was straight at first. This turned into bi and finally upon reaching the tender age of 15, one year before officially becoming an adult, he realized he was gay.
temperament: He is a mix of an introvert and an extrovert. Kim prefers being alone but craves to be around people at the same time. He gets overly excited about food and sweets, along with talk about plants and herbs. Kim is usually polite and reserved by nature but when you get closer to him, he'll tease and joke with you. He is perceptive towards others but very dense when it comes to himself. Kim can be petty when he's betrayed but loyal to those he considers friends. He loves animals, reptiles and arachnids, but has a huge phobia of cats. Kim is also a night owl and does NOT like mornings. Also, once Kim lets you into his heart, you will always be in his thoughts.
habits: Kim always brings Kibō with him everywhere he goes, he hums and sings all the time without realizing it and he can't resist engaging in pranks when a chance pops up. He also cooks and bakes food for others on a regular basis, truly interested in their opinions on what he makes. Kim can only truly smile when it comes naturally to him and tends to stammer a lot when interested in someone. He narrows eyes and stares forever at those he doesn't like and greets everyone with 'yo' no matter who they are.
traits: He can be loyal, driven, intelligent, patient, confident, artistic, creative, observant, playful, outspoken, open-minded, daring, spontaneous, curious, competitive, stubborn, shy, anxious, mischievous, insecure, and petty. But not all at the same time.
likes: He likes herbs, plants, flowers, chocolate, sweets, baking, cooking, fashion, reading, writing, sketching, painting, crafts, the sea breeze, mma, sports, blue, black, gold, the outdoors, animals, snakes, puffie, kibō, herbology, and charms.

Puffie was Kim's beloved pink pygmy puff that he never went anywhere without. The adorable cute fluffball was loved by everyone and was very active and energetic. He loved to eat things and bounce all over the place. Cuddling was one of his favorite pasttimes. Kim originally got him because he was one of the oldest puffs at the Menagerie and the shopkeeper was worried he'd die before getting a forever home. Puffie would always sleep on top of Kim's chest at night and would hop onto his shoulder or in his pack whenever Kim ventured out. Puffie was very similar to Kim when it came to mischief and would always get into trouble. He will be forever missed as Kim feels depressed and extremely sad whenever he sees or encounters a puff as he is reminded of Puffie. But now... Kibō is with him.

Kibō is Kim's new serpent pet. He was originally brought to the Menagerie by Valentin Schnell. Kibō was instantly drawn to Kim and vice versa and the two bonded almost instantaneously much to Val's happiness. As Kibō was entrusted by Val to act as his proxy for when he wasn't there for Kim, the snake means more to Kim than anything else in his life. After all, it was Val and Kibō who were responsible for bringing him back from the brink of depression. Kibō is much like Kim as they both adore sweets. They also enjoy playing pranks on others and mischief. Kibō has a Sweetness Scale he uses to see if he likes someone. Once he's decided, the decision won't change for a year. Kibō is very independent and goes off on his own often. Sometimes he doesn't even listen to Kim. But at the same time, he's extremely protective over him and can get vengeful if he thinks someone has hurt him in some manner. So be warned ahead of time!

When Kim was 7, Hiro and Kwan were arguing about whether Kim would end up in Slytherin or Gryffindor. It didn't matter Kim hadn't shown signs of magic, in their minds they were 100% certain he eventually would. After all, they were a pureblood family of wizards, naturally their son would also be a pureblood wizard. It would happen for him. Their argument grew in volume/emotion and soon they were yelling at eachother over how their House was a better fit for their Kim. Reasons were shot back and forth. Kim was between them on the sofa at the time and eventually couldn't stand it anymore. He got up and screamed, "STOP!!!" and tried to push his parents apart, feeling torn between the two. After all, he wanted to please both and to have them both get along with him. As a result, due to his unstable mental state at the time, his hair changed color. When his parents looked down at him they saw Kim's hair had turned from his normal black to half-green and half-red. Like a Metamorphmagus, although he wasn't one. Of course his parents changed his hair back to his regular color afterward but it was something they always remembered as an amusing anecdote from that moment on.

PARSELMOUTH ADEPT | You have gained the ability to speak the language of serpents known as Parseltongue, an incredibly rare ability. They can communicate with other Parselmouths in this language but if a non-Parselmouth were to hear them, they wouldn't understand. It is best described as an unearthly hissing noise but there are some words. They can communicate with one another in this secret language.

PERFECTIONIST | When you cast a spell, you take your time doing so. You enunciate your words with care and you do not recklessly swish your wand about. Your spells don't backfire and they also don't fail. You're too much of a Perfectionist to let that happen. It also applies to your studies, sports, crafts, hobbies and skills. You are somewhat obsessed with perfection and cannot settle for anything less than perfect most of the time.

Effect: You have a reduced critical failure chance range by 1. In addition, you can counter up to 1 point of additional critical failure chances caused by abilities or spells (not potions). In other words, if you have an extended critical failure chance range (as is the case with certain races, the effect of certain spells or potions), this reduces that range by 1. So if you have a +2 critical failure chance range (meaning if you roll a 1,2, or a 3 you critically fail), this ability makes it a +1 critical range instead (meaning if you roll a 1 or a 2 you critically fail). Quite a nice ability.

In Dueling:
• The chance to critically fail a Wisdom Check when casting a spell will be decreased. This can decrease the default range to 0 (making it impossible to critically fail a spell).
• This ability can be taken twice, which makes the player immune to Critical Failure, even if the Critical Failure range is increased by other means (the spell will simply fail, not won't backfire).

PET SNAKE: SPY & ATTACK | Parselmouths gain a Pet Snake that can spy for them during Y3 and attack for them during Y5.

Effect: Snake Advantage: In addition, Parselmouths have an advantage against serpent threats if they encounter one in an event, this would be represented as two rolls to avoid an attack with the best of the two rolls by the Parselmouth being the one used.

Attacks: A variety of attacks can be used such as Venom, Constrict, Consumption.

STATISTICALLY RELEVANT (ACC+2) | Kim applied himself to become better at his accuracy which resulted in a slight increase in said stat, as practice makes perfect.

Effect: This is an ability that can be bought more than once that gives a user +2 stats. These stats can be placed where they please. These stats can break caps.

Father
Back when Hiro had been a student at Hogwarts, he'd been one of the best Chasers Slytherin House had seen that particular year. However, one day he ran into a certain Gryffindor girl and his life changed forever. Both were purebloods and they also surprisingly shared the same opinions about the things that really mattered, to not only their kind but to the world in general. This was rare for someone in Gryffindor but not so rare in Slytherin for obvious reasons. Hiro believed half-bloods and half-breeds should either go to a different school to learn magic, or be taught at a different time than purebloods. After all, the half-bloods were beneath them and although were useful as lackeys weren't that impressive otherwise. But worse still were the half-breeds who couldn't be trusted, they always had the potential to do something that would put other wizarding folk in danger. They could distract them and cause purebloods to do worse in their studies, be a danger to them and others given their nature, and could become more powerful than purebloods if given the chance to do so. This could not happen. As for muggles, he hated the idea Hogwarts allowed such people into their ranks. They had no business being there if neither of their parents were magical by nature. How did they even have magic in them in the first place? If given the opportunity, Hiro would make it so that muggles would not be able to go to the best magical school in the world. What was more concerning were the half-breeds, something had to be done about them.

Hiro and Kwan went through various trials and tribulations before coming to the realization they were destined to be together. Yet, despite this, Kwan was incredibly stubborn and very independent. Every time Hiro hit on her, she would reject him and wouldn't go out with him for awhile. As a result, Hiro continued to pursue her relentlessly, obsessing over her, until eventually the girl agreed to go out. At long last he'd done it! But history would repeat itself again when Hiro proposed to her. Not because Kwan didn't love him but because she couldn't just easily let him win like that. Giving in to him instantly? Not a chance. Yes, Kwan was competitive too. After graduating from Hogwarts, Hiro pursued a career in the field of dragons and became a Dragonologist, employed on a dragon reserve. More specifically, a Dragon Conservationist. He loved his work, as he'd always had a fascination with dragons and magical creatures. And those he worked with usually liked him back, both the animals and the wizards and witches. He'd thought about doing something in Quidditch, as he'd been so good at it. But dragons had called to him more. So he'd gone in that direction.

Once Kim was born, Hiro focused all his attention on him and took some time off work to help Kwan raise him. Even at an early age, Hiro's pet snake called Hebi took an interest in the newcomer to the family and Kim seemed to get along with him as well. But when Kim turned 3, he was called back to work and had to work overtime in order to make up for the time he'd taken off before. This might have contributed to how they ended up having to hire a caretaker to care for the house and look after Kim. Perhaps it would have been better to have just continued to work and gone home whenever he had a break like he had up until that point. But what was done was done already. As a pureblood, Hiro expected his son to also keep the line pure, which meant he would need to marry another pureblood. But what was even more important were alliances with powerful families, ones who were at the top of the pureblood chain, in the main circle. After all, the Satos only associated with the best of the best. The most powerful with the most connections. Therefore, at a young age Kim was told that he would probably have an arranged marriage to one of the top pureblood families one day. This was reiterated a lot to him. But if Kim managed to find a suitable candidate himself before that time, they would consider his choice, as long as it fulfilled all the necessary requirements.

Hiro has a lot of charm and charisma. This applies not only to animals and creatures but to people as well. It is not a magical effect, it's just simply how he is. Hiro is relentless, stubborn, determined, confident and quite intelligent by nature. However, he can also be somewhat petty when someone annoys, hurts or betrays him. Revenge and vengeance is something that he is especially good at, and the occasional prank here and there. He doesn't tend to trust others for a long time but once you have his trust, it is very hard to break it. Unless he catches you in the act or irrevocable proof is shown to him, he will never believe you would ever betray him. However, if you do betray him and he finds out about it, Hiro will stop at nothing to make you pay. Upon meeting new people, he tends to come off as polite, respectful and charming. He has a talent for making people let down their guard and is good at getting them to open up and tell him the truth about things. The reason he does this is to see what people are truly like inside and if they approach them for advantages or for genuine reasons. If it is the former, you will be shut down and thrown out of the mansion. If it is the latter, he will consider you and your reason(s) and will get back to you on it and you will have another chance to impress him later. Don't screw it up. You only get one chance. Think carefully before you act/speak.

Mother
Kwan is a woman who is extremely stubborn, independent and beautiful. She hasn't changed from back in the old days when she was a student at Hogwarts. The only thing different is that now she's a mother. But the problem is, she doesn't really know how to act like a mother. As a result, she simply does whatever comes to mind at the time and surprisingly is decent at it. Perhaps it's motherly instinct. She doesn't like muggles for the same reason Hiro does, believing they don't belong in the wizarding world. As for half-bloods and half-breeds, she dislikes them even more because she knows how easy it is to get tripped up by them. Sometimes they masquerade as purebloods to take advantage of their status and then get exposed later on and humiliate the purebloods who got fooled by them. Like what happened to her once. Well, twice. As a result, Kwan considers half-bloods and half-breeds to be liars and potentially dangerous to other witches and wizards, especially the half-breeds. Dhampirs and werewolves possibly pose the most threat in her opinion, as they are the ones she'd had the most trouble with.

Kwan is a talented Animagus and her job keeps her very busy as she is quite popular. Her animagus form is of a Siamese cat, which is ironic since Kim is very allergic to cats, something that developed in him from an early age. In the beginning he loved cats because he thought they were cute and fluffy. Until he started sneezing and began to feel sick and it was determined he was allergic to them. First, his parents tried to cure the disease with specific types of potions. But when it didn't fully cure him, they realized it must have been a combination of a natural allergy and a magical one. Thus, Kim would never be able to be completely cured of it but his condition was manageable with potions. Back when he lived at home, his mother sometimes used her form to 'punish' him when he was overly curious and wouldn't behave. She also has the traits of a cat, which is reflected in her personality, such as independence, coolness towards others, loving to lounge around in the sunlight and even take naps in it from time to time, loyal to those she trusts and feels comfortable with, affectionate at times. She also has a sense of elegance and sophistication. But like a cat, if you cross her, she can get very vindictive.

Even Hiro is afraid of her when she gets like that and tries hard to never get into a situation like that with her. The only thing they both fight over without backing down to the other is when it comes to Kim and his future. Kwan is a very competitive and stubborn woman and won't let anyone tell her what to do. Hiro is no exception. In fact, they had a fight a few days before Kim left for Hogwarts regarding whose trunk he was going to take to school. Kim suggested a neutral trunk but Kwan had insisted on him using hers. And Hiro was determined on Kim taking his as a good luck charm to get into his House. The argument ended with Kim deciding via paper-rock-scissors and resulted in him taking his father's Slytherin trunk with him. But Kwan got the last laugh as Kim was sorted into her House. Hiro still can't believe Kwan won and still sulks about it to Kwan's amusement. Despite the fact that Kim got into Kwan's House, Hiro loves his son and has high hopes for him. Even if he didn't get into Slytherin, he could still follow in his footsteps and become one of the best Chasers on the Quidditch team, right? Obviously, Kim is very important to them, despite their absence back when he was a child, due to their demanding jobs. Kwan's pet is an owl called Fukuro, who Kim adores.

As a pureblood, Kwan expects Kim to marry another pureblood and carry on the family line. She wants to see all his children end up in Gryffindor too so she can tease Hiro about it. Hiro's plan for Kim's marriage is fine with her, as long as he produces heirs that will eventually end up in her Gryffindor House! Unless she happens to find someone she thinks will suit Kim more than Hiro's choice. Then, she'll fight her husband for who is the lucky girl who ends up with him. Kwan is excited to see who will end up with Kim.

She does love competitions and if she hadn't been an Animagus, she would have become a powerful duelist. Upon meeting new people, she comes across as being a cool beauty who gives off a feeling of aloofness. The look in her eyes could be seen as calculating as she studies you and tries to look into the depths of your very soul. Unfortunately, for those who try and figure out what she is thinking at the time, she never lets any kind of expression appear on her face. So it's extremely difficult to figure out what's going through her mind at the time. Even Hiro has this problem. She has a tendency to make whoever is talking to her want to impress or please her, something Kwan is well aware of. There are two things Kwan hates above all other things. Liars and betrayers. For liars, she will go out of her way to find out WHY you lied to her. If it was intentional and you show no remorse, she will challenge you to a rigged duel and at the end will never speak to you again. If it was unintentional, she will give you the cold shoulder for a time and give you one more chance to prove you won't let yourself be fooled into unintentionally lying to her again. For those who betray her, she becomes vindictive and cruel towards them. Kwan will go after you until she messes up your entire life. Things that are important to you, friends, family, no one is safe. Obviously she won't kill you, or use any Unforgivable Curses, but she will 100% make you regret ever betraying her.

Hiro's younger brother is Ren, who has different viewpoints. He wants a power balance between all the purebloods, halfbloods, halfbreeds and muggles. Ren likes having the best of all three worlds and races and enjoys the company of all of them, unlike Hiro, Kwan and the Chens. This in turn puts him at odds with them. Ren has 3 children, Akira, Hana and Ai. Akira is 17 and is the oldest. He is helpful, friendly, has leadership qualities, and is perfect for events and important things. He doesn't reveal personal things about himself easily but will seemingly talk freely and make it seem as if he's an open book. He looks out for his siblings and knows he'll be the one to take over the family name as the oldest son. Hana is 16 and is the middle sibling.

Hana is quiet, respectful, and never gets mad or annoyed by anything or anyone. He sees the best in others and in any given situation. He keeps to himself most of the time, preferring it this way, and tends to be stylish when it comes to clothes. Ai is 15 and is the youngest. He is rebellious, spontaneous, speaks his mind, does what he wants, and has no filter. He is the one his siblings and parents need to look out for all the time because he gets himself into trouble on a regular basis. Akira tends to be the one who always tries to shut him up or drags him off before Ai's mouth or actions can get him into trouble with others.

Wei Chen is Hiro's youngest brother, who is married to Li. The Chens form lots of personal connections with almost everyone, regardless of blood status. They especially want non-purebloods on their side, so if it comes down to it later, they will have an advantage over purebloods should the scales ever tip in the opposite direction. They seek all alliances with non-purebloods and prioritize them over purebloods, something Hiro and Kwan do not appreciate and they are at odds with them over this. Wei has 4 children, Lei, Kei, Mei and Rei. Lei is 7 and is the oldest by 3 minutes of the twins. He has leadership qualities and is friendly, perceptive, caring, responsible and dependable.

However, Lei becomes vengeful after a future incident happens and a new 'persona' is born in him, which is instrumental in him obtaining 'justice'. Kei is also 7 and is Lei's identical twin brother. He is responsible, prefect-like, and a strict rule abider. When Kei eventually attends Mahoutokoro, his robes become navy blue very quickly, with his ultimate goal being to obtain and sustain gold robes. He does not joke, takes things literally all the time, and has no sense of 'fun'. A 'stick-in-the-mud'.

Mei is 6 and is the middle child and only sister of the siblings. She is cute and knows it, using her charm and aegyo to get whatever she wants. She looks after Rei, as she's protective of the youngest one. As a child (age 6), she seems really cute and adorable rather than sexy but as she grows up and becomes older, it will eventually change into sexiness. Rei is 5 and is the youngest. He is a jokester and messes around all the time. He is energetic, happy and surprisingly naive and innocent. It is easy to take advantage of him as Rei will usually believe anything someone says, as long as they are a good actor or happen to be very convincing. This is why Mei looks out for him. He is very close to his sister and their siblings and loves them all so much!

Kim originally lived in Japan but made regular visits to both Japan and Korea due to his parents. However, soon after he turned 5, the family decided to move to London, England. After all, it would be easier to send Kim to Hogwarts when he came of age if they lived closer to the famous castle. So that is what they did. Upon attending school in England, Kim earned a reputation for being quiet, cool, confident, studious, talented and obsessed with sweets amongst his peers and teachers. He even had a nickname, the Prince of Sweets, referring to his love of sweets, pureblood status, almost regal attitude and his charming looks. As a result, Kim has a bit of a complex about his extremely good looks. This is why he dislikes getting compliments about his looks by others. Unlike many people, Kim is not afraid to say what is on his mind, as long as it isn't a pureblood event being held that he is at with his parents. The thing he hates the most is small talk because no one really wants to hear the answer to questions regarding small talk, they just say it to be polite. He doesn't understand the point of small talk if you don't want to hear the responses. As a child, he was a very curious boy and loved to learn new things.

This included muggle things as well. When he was 8, his parents became insanely busy with their careers. Of course, they still loved him but couldn't be there for him as often anymore. So, they hired a caretaker to look over the mansion, house elves and watch over Kim when they were both not there. As a result, he started to talk to his parents pets who usually were left home, not caring if they were able to respond to him. He just wanted someone to talk to that he felt close to. Around this time, he ended up saving an injured baby owl and formed a close connection to it. He named it Kami and they became inseparable. Sometime later on, he discovered he could talk to snakes and they could talk back to him, a rare talent he'd inherited from his father who was also a PM.

At 8, Kim started to spend all his free time learning various things instead of merely playing on his own. He had a thirst for knowledge which couldn't be quenched. He quickly became obsessed with martial arts, languages, cooking and baking, fashion, sports and crafts. He also developed an overwhelming interest in herbology, specifically regarding plants, herbs and flowers. Mandarin, Korean and Japanese were the languages he mainly focused on and practiced with the help of his Quill Pals and the Floo Network. But he also dabbled in non-asian languages too. Kim learned how to become independent at an early age because although there were numerous house elves and a caretaker, he wasn't really close to them. As a result, he disliked having them help him with anything and did everything on his own. Music began to become more important and the house elves got accustomed to hearing him sing to himself and the pets when he was bored. He even began to write some songs and soon started to really get into it. Later, music would help him out when he was at his lowest point and from that point on it would forever become an important part of his life, even in the present time. On his 11th birthday, he received his Hogwarts letter. At first he was going to take Kami with him, but certain circumstances would force him to leave her behind. It had been unavoidable. But he could always visit her during the breaks and holidays in the future. He would turn 12 only 27 days after his first term and magical education started.

Kim was sorted into Gryffindor. This was a subject of contention for his parents as both wanted him to get into their House. A shame many of Kim's traits were more Ravenclaw but he let his parents dictate what he should become. Thus how he ended up in Gryffindor. He tends to tell people to call him Kim Aoki, having adopted a temporary 'fake' last name, because he believes people may try to become friends with him to gain favor from his parents. The Satos are a very powerful, well connected, and rich family who are extremely high up in the inner circle of purebloods. Everyone wants to make connections with them in some way. Purebloods want to cement their status with them. Halfbloods seek their favor to gain better status. Even some muggles, who know the wizarding world well, seek to take advantage of them sometimes. This is why he uses an alternate last name, to protect himself from everyone who seeks to use him for their own kind of selfish purposes. It is for this particular reason why Kim finds it hard to trust others or open up to them because he doesn't know what's going through their minds.
