If this theme was chosen for their cabin, once they entered, people would find themselves looking at a beautiful mirage outside the window of turquoise water, a coral reef in the distance, and tropical fish surrounding them. This underwater view would be based on the coral reefs of the West Pacific.
The windows were large from ceiling to floor, opening out to a beautiful image of an underwater landscape. The windows would be the walls to the living room and in the center of the living room there would the refractions of light through the water would glitter on a beautiful cashmere carpet that was the color of peach coral. A large couch would be on top of the carpet, with pillows of white and peach. One could stare right through the windows to see the beautiful underwater scene, though it was not real.
If students and others found themselves bored, there would be a bookcase filled with books of any kind. In the living room, there would be various places to sit as well as a glass table where students could eat or study, play card games, or perhaps even gobstones.
Each of the bedrooms would have wooden ceilings, reminiscent of a wooden ship's deck. Hanging from it were beautiful laces of white, hanging from decorations resembling different underwater plants, seaweed, anemones, flowers, etc. The beds would have sea shell shaped pillows and baby turquoise coloured blankets. The carpet on the floor would resemble the sea floor and each member of the cabin would have their own treasure chest, though it was only for their clothes and belongings for the week they were here. For light, this cabin would have many candle holders made of glass with models of sea shells and starfish.

Somehow, yet again, Oliver had been dragged into another dreaded event. By none other then Novalie Moon. How he kept getting into these type of situations what honestly beyond him, from the few errands he had done, sneaking out, and now this. What could possibly be next? A full blown slumber party? Godric Gryffindor better send him the strength to deal with that girl. This was a special trip, honestly, Oliver wasn't sure if he minded it that much, a trip to Beauxbatons. The French wizarding school. A rare chance to see what it was like. Mostly, Oliver wanted to see the plants. to see how/if they were different from the ones back in Scotland.
He wasn't fully sure if there would be anything new, but one could hope. Just like how once was able to hope for a certain house, and get the total opposite of it. That had just taught Oliver that hope's were simply that, hopes. And not always reality. In preparation for the plants he may or may not get to see. Oliver bought a notebook. Well, he gave the instruction to Aaron to go and buy it from Hogsmeade. As he was underage to go yet. (Even though he lived there when it wasn't school. How ridiculous.) What might he do with this journal? Put plants in it of course. Name, function, and either a watercolor drawing, or a part of that plant. Herbology was his favorite subject, not only was he good at it, but he enjoyed it. Like, really enjoyed it.
Really, his one goal for the trip was to get at least one page filled in it. He didn't care about much else, like the cabin he was in. He was pretty sure he and Novalie would be in the same one, as she forced invited him. He didn't care. And would rather not be with her if he was being honest. He felt any day to day interaction with her was enough. Almost to much. As he entered the cabin, his pet cat Otis at his heals, Oliver was pleasantly surprised to find she was not there. Yet. Looking around, Oliver was captivated already. The walls with a sea view. Full of fish, and- the best part -plants. His bright blue eyes brushed over the unknown upperclassman, and right to the bed he would be clamming as his own.
Of course being one right up by the window. It was one of the many perks of being early. Placing his things in the trunk Oliver looked out the window. Eye's wide, were he a cartoon, stars would be seen in them. They were the best wall's he had ever seen. Otis seamed to agree, running at them, jumping and pawing at the window's. Trying to get a fish in his grasp. Oliver let out a small laugh at the cat's actions. Shaking his head fondly as he put his stuff away.
Once he got decently satisfied with that, leaving a few things out on his bed. Like his wand, and painting supplies, the new journal, and a canvas or two. Incase he didn't want to paint a plant just yet. (unlikely, but motivation can come and go). Oliver again, looked the older boy over. Perhaps he had seen him in the hall's. He was dressed weird. That was the first thing Oliver noticed. He'd never seen someone dress like that before, well- maybe once back home. But surely Oliver had been preoccupied back then. For a while, he just staired at him.
"I guess were cabin mates for now," He spoke finally. His tone one that almost demanded respect. Anyone that chose to dress like that, willingly. Had to be someone that didn't deserve Oliver's. He looked at his bed, and saw a snake on it. Interesting choice. There was little doubt in his mind Otis would be curious about it latter on. "I am Oliver, Oliver Armani." He said sitting down on his bed, not offering a hand shake. A pointless endeavor. "That is Otis," He said with a nod to the orange cat, who was still trying to hunt the fish. "So that would make you?" Oliver asked looking back at him.

"Caviar???"
The plaintive call of Novalie echoed through the long halls as she searched for her pet spider.
Caviar oftentimes was very adventurous, which had led him to jump from one French student to another upon their arrival at the school. For some reason, most of them didn’t seem to appreciate his curiosity however - screaming, flailing, or shouting funny-sounding words. The redhead figured those were probably polite requests to keep better track of him in this vast castle.
And vast it was. The whole place was as grand as Hogwarts, though its aesthetic reminded her more of a high-elf academy from a video game - the kind where only the rich and exceedingly intelligent species went. She wondered: were most of the French students human anyway? And more importantly, would she be able to meet another Metamorphmagus here?
Her thoughts had to wait.
Right now, Caviar was out there, scuttling around in search for escapades unknown to mankind. Usually, she didn’t mind him wandering off - he always found his way back - but experience had taught her that some people in new places were inclined to squash first and ask questions later.
Poor Caviar. He didn’t even know where her cabin was.
"Caviaaar!", the girl called again, cupping her hands around her mouth to amplify the sound.
Maybe he had already found his way to their cabin? Oh! Perhaps he had followed Ollie!
Novalie wasn’t sure why, but after they've arrived, her best friend had rushed straight to their room, not even waiting for her or Eric. Maybe he had to hit the toilet real bad.
Shrugging it off, Novalie made her way toward their cabin.
Surprisingly, it didn’t take long to find it.
With hardly a glance at the sign on the door, Novalie flung it open. She froze in her tracks, eyes widening.
"Woah..."
It was like walking straight into the middle of the ocean!
Instead of the school grounds or surroundings, the windows showed an underwater world with fishes playing in dark blue waters. Every detail of the furnishing fit the theme - clams, nets, and wooden crates were strewn about the room neatly, without looking out of place, as though this might be the place that mermaids lived in.
Novalie’s eyes lit up - literally. Her deep green irises shifted into a soft blue, reflecting the color of the sea.
As the Metamorphmagus looked around the room, her gaze traveled to three boys within.
Oliver stood near a bed (why wasn’t he in the bathroom?), an older-looking boy was standing on a couch (seemed normal enough), and between them stood Ice Lord. Was he... trying to break up a fight?
"Oh!"
A grin spread across Novalie’s face. They were about to throw spells or fists! How fun!
The Ravenclaw spotted Otis, Oliver’s cat, at the window, pawing at the glass as if trying to catch one of the fish. Giggling, she set her suitcase down and perched on the windowsill beside him.
"Don’t mind me. Keep fighting!", she chirped, fully expecting some action.
This was bound to be entertaining. Besides, Novalie had complete confidence in Ollie - sure, the stranger on the couch seemed older, but in her eyes, her best friend was the strongest person she in the world! She shot him a thumbs-up and winked.
"You got this, Ollie!"
Satisfied with her generous support, the redhead turned her attention to Otis, who snuggled against her hand.
"Aww, little Oats!", she crooned as she scratched behind his ears.
He purred in delight before making a attempt to leap into her arms. Novalie caught him and pulled him into her warm embrace.
"You are literally the cutest, Oatsy-Boatsy-Boo.", she chuckled, planting a quick kiss upon his furry head.
Then, something else caught her eye.
Wait - was that...? You got to be kidding!
"A snake?!"
Her eyes went wide as she spotted a real, live snake lounging on one of the beds. Her mouth fell open. Was this real life?!
"Oh my god!"
Neither Oliver nor Aodhan had a pet snake. Meaning...
She directed a stare towards the unfamiliar boy.
"Is it yours? Does it bite?!"
Without hesitation, she gently placed Otis on her lap and eagerly rolled up her sleeves. Visibly thrilled by the mere possibility of being bitten, she beamed mischievously.
"Please tell me it does! I’m SO ready!"
She has never ever in her life been bitten by a snake! How cool was that?!

xxxxxxxx Despite being accustomated to the french atmosphere, Elena couldn't stop her jaw from dropping as they left the carriage. An endless display of ivory towers glistening beneath the sunlight, climbing as high as the sky allowed it, every curve and column carrying the breathtaking elegance that came to mind when France was evoked. Victoria, her mother, enamoured herself with this renowned country when she was young, and now drags her family to a different city every summer. The pyrenees was an area the young raven had yet to discover, but the scenery she had spotted outside the carriage's window sufficed to spark curiosity in the golden haired girl's eyes, as she eagerly stepped foot on the pristine marble floor.
A few minutes later, she was standing in front of her cabin's entrance, a familiar feeling clawing at her stomach. I really hope there's already people I know in there. Clenching her hand around the suitcase's handle, she took a second to catch her breath. Cosmo was indecently sprawled on the sunnied floor, his silver fur shinning like silverware. She now half regretted letting a certain lively blonde drag her into this, as spending a whole weekends with strangers wasn't particularly her idea of fun. But Alyss seemed so thrilled at the perspective of spending a weekend with friends that Elena had no other choice than to kneel before her sweet smile. Praying the little snake had already arrived, she pushed the door open.
An underground ocean welcomed her, as she gazed outside the window with pure awe. This cabin seemed made to mirror an underwater escape, with peach and cream and whites colouring the interior, a true summer vacation. The young raven dully noted the irony of this situation - the previous camp she attended was a winter-like event in august. Four silhouettes detached themselves on this beautiful canva, three she thought recognise and one that stirred no memories. Before she was able to make a single step towards them, Cosmo spotted the impressive amount of pets reunited in one place and took it as a personal mission to assert his dominance over the little group. Show off, the young girl thought as her gaze narrowed. The silver feline sneaked right next to an adorable orange cat sat on a girl's lap - a girl Elena recognised as Nova, one of her dear friends. The tabby seemed particularly friendly, a quality her own pet didn't quite share, as he so chilvarously proved, hissing when the other cat tried to sniff him.
With a click of her tongue, the golden haired girl grabbed the little devil before he might cause more trouble, greeting Novalie in a same movement. "Hey Nova," she chuckled, nodding to her friend. "It's good to see you." Firmly holding her little furrball, she turned back to gaze at the rest of the crowd. She recognised two boys met at Meiyu's New Year's Eve party, the sour forest boy and the energetic orange guy, known as Oliver and Aodhan, if her memories didn't deceive her. "Hi again," she nodded at both of them, before noticing the third boy, perched on the couch. He looked older, was strangely dressed in a Dursmtrand attire and looked... well terrified. Despite knowning how unfriendly Oliver could be, she didn't believe he could be the cause of this predicament.
She understood as he nervously glanced at the two felines, one purring on Nova's lap, the other struggling to break free from her grip. Allergies. With a soft chuckle, she settled Cosmo on the ground - position which lasted approximatively three seconds before he ran to bully the fishes - and searched for the medical aid kit she always carried. Her fingers gripped a box of cetirizine , as a satisfied smile torn her lips. "Hey," she said to the boy before throwing the meds. "Take this." Her grandmother being allergic to furr despite loving animals had taught her a couple of tricks, including always carrying antihistamines.
Upon this action, the young raven decided it was time to escape the crowd. Mumbling an excuse, she quickly disappeared towards the bedding area, dragging her heavy suitcase behind her. A fashionista was what her mother had called her after seeing the outreagous amount of clothes Elena had packed for only a weekend escapade, but who knew what mysterious tragedy might happen ? And what if for a strange reason every single member of the cabin had decided dressing in pink for Valentine's day was actually lame ? And- so many reasonable reasons that had pushed her to grab her entire wardrobe. More or less. However, she was quite pleased in her current clothing and felt no need to change it - the off-shoulder laced sweater was the perfect shade of pink, and pairing it with jeans and pearls was definitely the right call. Setting her suitcase next to a random bed, she layed her scarf and coat, as well as a few books to mark her place of choosing, before tiptoeing her way back into the main room.
Don't mind me.

February 12th, 2025 Valentine’s Cabin“English” “Gaelic”
Perhaps it was the mere idea of traveling to another country- another magical school for fun, or perhaps it was because the day of love was coming up, but Alyss felt like her heart was about to burst. She rarely traveled outside of the Outer Hebrides, much less to an entirely different country, for fun! After all, traveling involved money, something she didn’t have. But this time Hogwarts took her with them, and she was full of excitement. Going to France involved an enormous culture- language, traditions, food, entertainment, and so much more. Although this was new to Alyss, she was determined to make the most of it.
France was often celebrated as a highly developed, prosperous and beautiful nation. Evidently, Alyss had to agree. Everything that she looked at seemed stunning. The architecture, the landscape, and the people were all some of the most amazing Alyss had the pleasure of meeting and laying eyes upon. She was truly in paradise. Finally, after much awe, she found herself standing in front of her assigned cabin. She opened the door to a breathtaking scene. The windows around them seemed to be straight from the ocean, just with clearer water. She could see the wildlife firsthand, and paired with the gorgeous view of the coral reef, Alyss found herself speechless.
After taking in the wonders of magic, she then took in the people in the cabin already- and it was quite the sight. An older student, perhaps a forth year? Fifth? Was standing on top of the sofa, cowering from god knows what. Oliver, from the New Year’s party, was here as well, directing his gaze at the older year as well. Aodhan seemed to be standing in between the two, and Novalie was sitting with an orange cat on her lap, gazing at a snake. Wait, hold it. A SNAKE?? Alyss let out a yelp of alarm as her eyes took in the serpentine creature. Although it was her house mascot, she had heard stories of snakes that bit and killed the people that had interacted with them.
“AHHH!! Oh-my-god-is-that-a-snake??” Alyss mumbling in shock, lips seemingly not working as her head was still wrapping its mind around the animal in front of her. During this, her bag of luggage dropped from her hand, hitting the ground with a soft thud. Thankfully, there was nothing truly valuable in there, packed with her toiletries and clothing, and perhaps a few cat toys and treats, but nothing much more. However, the feline she had been carrying was thrown from her arms as she brought her appendages as close to herself as she could, yet still between herself and the creature. Perhaps her body’s natural way of reacting to a threat? No one would know, including the young girl herself.
Thankfully, the person that Alyss hadn’t quite registered immediately was Elena, the wonderful friend who so lovingly come along upon hearing Alyss’ desire to visit the beauties of France. Alyss rushed to Elena, reaching her arms out for a hug and clutching the girl as if her life depended on it. Thankfully her embrace was reciprocated, and Alyss was able to collect herself enough to begin considering skirting around the snake to grab her bag, the imaginary radius she had created around it having been so bravely breached upon her dash to Elena, her emotional support bestie.
“Why-is-there-a-snake-aren’t-snakes-scary??” she whispered tentatively to her friend, still stumbling over her words and almost slurring them together in her sleep, eyes continuing to flit every which way, seemingly awaiting for something to strike her.
Milo was annoyed by all this commotion, and found himself gazing up at the crazy humans. He soon found himself a warm spot by the windows, and began to lay himself down, as to get the most comfortable given the chaos that unfolded around him.

This older year, Oliver had decided, was a wuss. Running and hiding from... what? Sneezing and jumping on furniture. Then the question, it... still made zero sense. It was his cat causing this freak out? His cat? He looked at Otis, who currently was still pawing at the window. Oliver smirked and looked back, "Oh yeah, no he loves strangers. Likes dulling his claws on their things, and you know... Legs." Allergic and scared. What a wuss. Oliver shook his head, smirk falling to his normal sour face. "No, he's just friendly. Are you some kind of pussy?" He asked bluntly. Cats were nothing to be scared of.
Oliver wasn't scared of anything, nothing at all. Let alone a cat, "It's just a cat, you know that right?" Fears didn't make sense to him. Cats caused no harm, even if he was allergic to things. He could just avoid it and not be scared of it, should just avoid it. "There is no reason for you to cower on the couch. Are you not what- fourth, fifth year?" He rolled his eyes, how did this manchild expect to face creatures in a care of magical creatures class? Oliver was just assuming that he took it. There was no reason in his mind for fears, logic overruled most if not all.
Kim (as Oliver learned his name to be) had been saved by the arrival of Aodhan Shaw. Good for Kim, and very bad for Oliver. Again he rolled his eyes at the Gryffindor's words. "I'm not scaring him," Oliver stated. He didn't think he was scary. Not really. At least, he didn't think so. Being scared of him as a fourth or fifth year would be embarrassing for all parties. "Your friend here is scared of cats." Was it a secret? Oliver didn't care, if he didn't want it told he shouldn't have such a stupid fear. A guy with a ridiculous fear, accompanied with a kid with an equally ridiculous personality. He scoffed.
"Like you could beat me in a fight." He said, yet again, with a roll of his eyes. He hoped they didn't get tired out with how much he seemed to need to do it with this group, and it was only two people so far. Oliver hoped Aodhan was allergic to cats too, and that Otis scratched his things up. He didn't fight anymore. At least, that was what he was telling himself. He didn't seek it out, the fight with that wretched mudblood Sandy had hardly been his fault, much like this one too. It wasn't his fault Kim's fear was just plain stupid.
The universe must have had it out for him, as the next one to enter the cabin he had at first been so excited about had been Novalie Moon. The most hyperactive person he knew, who couldn't stay on the same topic for more then two sentences, and just had to have some sort of weird death wish (or she was just dumb) as one time she told him she had almost eaten a worm. Oh and yes, she made the ridiculous claim that they were 'best friends'. "No, there's no fighting Novalie, just talking." Why was everything about fighting today?
He briefly looked over to see Otis and Novalie getting along quite well. Damnit. Of course Otis just had to like her too. What did she call him? Oats? Double damnit. That was really cute. Oliver liked to think his cat was a good judge of character, so if he liked someone, Oliver liked them quite often too. But he couldn't allow himself to like Novalie. She was too loud, and- he lacked the proper words; it was something close to insane. He quickly hid the smile that had begun to form at the sight of his cat and Novalie. Looking to where she had gasped at. Just a snake. Nothing important. And of course, the death wish. Wanting to be bit. Likely it wasn't venomous or harmful to humans, much like eating a worm. Still, again, like eating a worm. It was a stupid thing to want to do or have happen.
Again someone else entered the cabin, someone he still wasn't sure on. He had met her at Meiyu's party. She- didn't annoy him. But her comment about him 'trying top hard' had stuck out in his mind. He didn't try to hard at all. He just gave the right amount of effort that he needed to in order to be the best. If that was trying to hard, one could sue him. He nodded back at her in greeting. It looked like she to, had a pet cat. Well, bonus points given there. As long as her cat wasn't a little shit and rude to his, he may be able to stay on good enough terms with her. Elena? Yes, good terms with Elena.
Another girl, another cat, and another wuss. All came in the form of- someone he didn't remember all too well. Perhaps he'd seen her at the party, but her name was falling him. At least her fear could make a little bit of sense to him, some snakes could be potentially deadly. Though Oliver still deemed her stupid. If someone gave it even a little bit of thought, any at all, it wouldn't take much time at all to figure out that this snake was a pet. A free roam pet at that. It must be on good behavior, and harmless for both of those to be true. And there was no one else having a freak out, other than Kim, but that had been stated already.

𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐞: February 12th 2025More and more people began to enter the cabin. If this had been any other situation, Kim would have been embarrassed to be caught acting like this in front of strangers. But as it had to do with cats... well his brain was just short-circuiting now. A familiar face entered the cabin. Han. That's what Kim called him for short since the two of them were roommates. Strangely enough, Aodhan shouted at Oliver. Saying something strange about him scaring him with his weird face? What on earth was he talking about? At least this minor distraction was making Kim's fear go down a little. He glanced back over at Aodhan as the latter met his eyes and asked if he was alright. "I-I'll be fine..." Kim managed to get out and his eyes flickered over to Otis again. "...as long as the cat doesn't come over to me." The duelist added, licking his suddenly dry lips.
A faint smile came to his lip as Aodhan asked if he wanted him to beat the guy up and he shook his head, somewhat amused by this. "He didn't do anything, it's just my stupid fear..." Kim reassured him. When Aodhan started to talk about hugs, the white haired duelist raised a brow. "Are you a hugging person?" He asked, wondering about this. Aodhan hadn't asked him for hugs before this point. So naturally Kim had assumed he wasn't the type to do things like this. But now... could he have just been holding back? The duelist's attention was drawn away from Aodhan when Novalie entered and marveled at the inside of the cabin. She assumed they were fighting too and Kim let out a sigh, feeling a little more at ease. After all, Otis hadn't moved from the window. That is, until Novalie began to ooh and ahhh over the cat. Kim tensed again.
__
· · ─▪──────────── · · ─────────────▪─ · ·
However, Novalie was the first to actually spot Kibō lounging on the top of the mattress he'd claimed earlier.
She expressed her excitement over the serpent and asked if he was his and if he bit. Kibō uncoiled himself a little and raised his head to stare at her with unblinking gem-like eyes. Kim raised a brow at Novalie's words about wanting to get bitten. "That's Kibō. He's pretty chill for the most part. He'll only bite if he feels threatened or he thinks someone is trying to hurt me. Or if he's being fed and is eating at the time." Kim told her. Yet another cabin mate entered, another girl, but also with another cat. Oh joys. He was not going to have a great time if these cats meandered around the cabin during their time here. But the new girl seemed to understand him a little more than the others. She dug into her belongings and then threw him something in the air. Kim caught it with his reflexes and looked down at it, not sure what it was.
__
· · ─▪──────────── · · ─────────────▪─ · ·
Some sort of muggle item? Kim glanced over at Elena. "What is it?" The white haired duelist asked her from his current position. As long as the two cats remained on the one girl's lap and didn't try and get up onto the couch where he was, Kim would be able to deal with it for now. Alyss's yelp of alarm and then her whispers and fearful looks towards the snake made Kibō look over at her. He didn't move but just stared at Alyss. Contemplating her. Oliver's words to him about being a pussy made him sigh a little bit. Yes, he was. When it came to cats, Kim disintegrated. Not that he'd admit that to anyone. But it was pretty obvious just from his reaction alone. Kim debated about getting out his allergy potion but then he realized it was in his pack which was on the mattress where Kibō was. Ugggh. Kim could ask someone who wasn't Oliver to get it.
But that would make him feel even more like a wuss, just like Oliver probably thought about him. Kim came to a decision. He would get down off the couch and make a beeline for the bed to get his potion. Kibō would protect him from the fur monsters if they tried to come near him. And once he'd taken the potion, at least he wouldn't be destroyed by the Curse of the Bogies sneezes cats gave him. He'd only have his fear to deal with instead, which was a little more manageable. After all, Kim was really good at evasion, he'd dodged so many spells during duels. He could avoid some cat attacks. As long as he wasn't taken out by his allergies. Kim also wanted to spend some time with the others. To get to know them more. He'd wanted this in the first place.

The Metamorphmagus' eyes glistered with delight as more of her friends entered the room.
Novalie instantly spotted Elena with the elation at the sight of her pet.
"Hey, Elena!", she beamed, her usual energy apparent in her voice, "I didn’t know you had a cat! He looks so fluffy!"
The other Ravenclaw had already scooped up her cute companion, holding him securely, but that didn’t stop Novalie from immediately reaching out in an attempt to pet him. Permission to do so? Who needed that when faced with such formidable fluff? After all, if it didn’t want to be petted, why did it look so pettable, right?
Before Novalie could make physical contact, however, Alyss' words interrupted her.
She blinked, turning to follow the direction the girl was looking at - straight to the snake resting on the bed. Oh?
Novalie was puzzled at how the serpent would throw Alyss off in the first place. Weird. Up until now, she had thought of the blonde as quite brave in a way. But now... now she looked undoubtedly unsettled. Novalie frowned slightly - wasn’t this animal literally the symbol of Slytherin, her very own house? Shouldn’t she be used to them?
Huh, that was confusing.
Well, anyway- after waving at her with a smile the redhead shrugged it off and turned her gaze back toward her best friend, Oliver.
So... no fighting?
Aw, come on. Novalie had actually wanted to see Ollie in action - not in a violent way, of course! More like.. in a match aspect, a friendly combat. Yeah, watching him prove his crazy strength would’ve been fun! She knew that he’d never truly hurt someone intentionally. No, Ollie wouldn’t even harm a fly - of that, Novalie was absolutely certain.
Still. What a waste of a potential show.
Her attention returned to the snake’s owner as he finally answered her question.
Kibō, was it?
For just a second, Novalie wondered if the name had a meaning to it, but she pushed that thought aside for a later time.
If she heard it correctly, the animal only bit if it - or its owner - was in danger? Or when it was eating?
"Can’t you, like, you know, just command it to bite me?", the redhead asked.
Everything would be so much easier if the serpent behaved like a dog. Came when called, sat on command, even doing little tricks. Alas, it wasn't a dog, so that expectation might’ve been asking a bit too much. Perhaps she should suggest him getting a flute later or something.
Novalie carefully lifted Otis from her lap and set him back on the windowsill. Without a moment's hesitation, she ambled over to where the snake lay.
Kneeling right beside the bed it was currently on, she stared at it in hypnotic fascination.
"Wow...", Novalie whsipered, "I’ve never seen a snake this close before."
She slowly hovered her fingers above the elegantly smooth curve of its green scales.
Will it allow her to touch it? Or will it bite her?
Either way, it was a win-win!
