We went through the alignment of some iNPC applications with Index and simplified application forms.

We added a list of countries to each registration thread, so it is easier to know where iNPCs can reside.

If you want to re-register or apply for sport changes, please use the iNPC re-registration thread.

Please note that stat updates and abilities are now in separate threads: Stat Update and Ability applications.

Please note that transfers between iNPC to PC and iNPC to iNPC are now in one thread: iNPC Transfers requests.

Also, Patronus and Animagus requirements are now the same as for your PC.

The Guide on how to create iNPC is now posted. It includes step-by-step guide for creating both iNPC and iNPC sub-account. FAQ section that earlier could be found in NPC rules is now a part of this guide.

TENŪSA EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT

This announcement is a simple apology for the lack of communication and update on moderation of the event. From this post onwards I will be working through each and every homestead and preparing for the next steps.

Due to some ooc issues I had to take some time away from site and while that was unfortunate I wish to assure all that the events are still coming and while asking for patience I promise that I am in a more steady routine now to be able to continue and give you the story you all deserve!

As such... let the chaos commence!

Please note that both sign-ups (yurts and sports) will close at 11:59 p.m. EST on February 14, 2026. You MUST be indexed to sign up for a yurt or sport.

Players who have a graduated student character now only have to wait 3 months to create an iNPC associated with their second (next gen) student character.

To be eligible for the reduced waiting period, you must:
- have had your first student and iNPC accounts graduate
- have been approved for a second student character
- have indexed your second student character
- have been registered on the second student character for 3 months
- link your approved application for your second student account when applying for your second iNPC

Note: The reduced wait time for a second iNPC character only applies to your first approved second student character. If you deactivate your second student character before they graduate, you will be required to wait 6 months for an iNPC associated with the new student character.

This is a reminder that the IMOG sign-ups will end in just over two days from now (in 49 hours). Remember that you must sign up if you want to participate in a sport (HERE) or RP as staying in a yurt (HERE) during the Games.

Especially calling all fourth- through seventh-years: I am in need of more individual skaters and summoner's curlers!
Also calling first- through third-year hockey teams: I currently have an odd number and would like an even number to be able to pit teams together.

Sports will begin to drop over the course of the next week, so get these sign-ups in now before they close at 11:59 PM EST on Saturday, Feb 14!

Come one, come all to enjoy international delicacies and fun ice skating in this unmoderated thread upon the shores of Lake Bear. In one week, I will post within it the torch-lighting ceremony.

Please note that over the next week, sports threads will be dropping! Keep an eye out on your PCs and iNPCs' notifications for pings in your specific sports thread.

In addition, sports and yurts sign-ups have now been closed. If you did not sign up for a sport, you're welcome to say your character came to cheer on their friends, but you cannot say they are competing. If you did not sign up for a yurt, you're welcome to vaguely reference the fact that you are staying in a yurt, but please do not be specific as to which type/with whom you're staying, nor are you able to RP in one.

There was a question as to whether the 6-month waiting period for creation of an iNPC starts from the date on the profile or the user’s validation date. As sometimes there might be more than a couple of days’ difference between these dates, we are counting the six months as starting from the date the user was validated. This is often different from the date on your profile. If you are unsure as to the date you were validated, check your owls or ask a staff member to look at the logs for you.

Koldovstoretz Banyas Open

On the rest day, Wednesday the 18th of February, athletes and supporters alike are invited to partake in one of the best Russian and Kazakh traditions that Koldovstoretz has to offer: banyas, a type of sauna native to the region. Come relax in your bathing suit/appropriate clothing here in the main banya, or make a private thread tagged [Banya] with your friends - but make sure you run outside and jump in the snow to cool down if you get too warm!

(Also, figure skating teams will be modded tomorrow, and bobsledding/hockey mods are up, in case anyone was curious.)
