Q: How often can I transfer my iNPC?
A: You must wait until six months after the creation of your iNPC, as well as six months after your iNPC last transferred schools, if they have transferred before. You are limited to three iNPC transfers over the course of your iNPC's school career.

Q: Can my iNPC transfer from an iNPC school to Hogwarts, or vice versa?
A: Yes but your PC would have to transfer to an iNPC school. However this is not the thread for that please find that request here

Q: Can I undo the transfer if I change my mind?
A: No. Once approved, you'll need to wait six months if you wish to transfer back to your original school again.

Q: If I'm on a sports team for my current school, will I automatically get a place on my new school's roster?

Makaria Toussaint-Vilaça feared that Isadora was not fitting in very well at Castelbruxo. Along with the upcoming arrival of Sarai Toussaint-Fleischer’s next set of twins. The woman was concerned for her sister as well. While her and her wife Luciana held a discussion the both agreed the best thing was to ask Sarai to watch over Isadora and be her guardian during the school year. While Isadora will also be helping Sarai with simple household chores and with the baby if Tantie needed the help. Makaria spoke to Sarai about their plans once the woman returned home for a little bit. Once everything was set in stone Makaria and Luciana sat down to speak with Isadora. Though Isadora could speak English fairly well besides her strong creole accent. The language was second nature; she had been learning it from a young age like many children in the village. At first Isadora was not fond of the idea of being transferred to Hogwarts. After all, the school seemed to have a fiery history so far for the girl, but she had to admit it would not be a bad idea. She would be close to her family and able to watch over her Tantie and her cousin to be. Not only that she supposed she could make some friends at Hogwarts she did have Matthew Campbell so she was not entirely against the idea of attending Hogwarts. Wary of the idea of course but not against it. The girl knew English so communication was not a problem though her accent may seem hard to understand some days. But of course that was not entirely her problem, at least she could communicate with others and understand the professors. Isadora agreed to the idea of staying with her Tantie Sarai during the school year; it gave the girl a chance to learn more from the woman as well. Of course Isadora would miss her mothers during the school year. She supposed that writing a letter and sending it by owl would be useful. Not only that, a new opportunity seemed to be always knocking the girl supposed she could stay at that dreaded town of Hogsmeade. But then again she did not mind too much because she was closer to at least one of her few friends that the girl had. Hogwarts would be a new adventure while the girl would leave Castelobruxo behind her.

The FairBairn family, a rather normal wizarding family, lived their life peacefully. Sloan FairBairn working for the magical creatures part of the ministry recently was offered a new job. Unfortunately for the family that would require the family to leave their current home to move to France. While the job still had something to do with magical creatures the man felt slightly bad about uprooting his daughter and Sister. While both seemed okay Victoria did not mind while she would find a job in France and still help with the upbringing of Aleksandra. While Aleksandra being her cold self was nonchalant and did not care much. Of course France was a new country with a completely different language. Thankfully Aleksandra’s aunt was fairly fluent in French and started to tutor Aleksandra in the language so she would be prepared for when the family made their big move to France. Of course Aleksandra would say she would be upset about moving to another country normally, but the girl also enjoyed the idea of leaving Hogwarts. She would not have to deal with any of those annoying children again though she did feel bad for leaving a few that she seemed to like decently well. But that was life that had to make sacrifices and one of those things was moving the girl after all could not live in their cottage in the countryside alone after all. Aleksandra studied day and night to try and get a comprehension of French, though the girls were still learning she seemed to understand it decently enough to try and make small talk. She supposed it helped that her aunt would tell her small things in French growing up, something her aunt said was a language of love or something along those lines. Aleksandra did not care enough to really understand at that time now that the girl was older she did not mind. A new chapter Aleksandra supposed with her fathers new job opportunity in France and a new school Aleksandra supposed she could possibly try to fit in?

Following his expulsion from Castelobruxo after the physical altercation to protect his cousin Isadora, Alphonse made great strides at Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Mostly because his stepfather was the Headmaster of the magical institution, but nevertheless, great strides.

It was an easy feat for the charismatic boy to settle into life in Ilvermorny and collect a new set of friends owing to Alphonse's natural charm. He excelled within his newfangled position on the Wampus Quidditch team, and without the ability to cheat off his twin brother, Briar, Alphonse was forced to put forth effort in his classes. He was no straight "O" student, of course, but the decent grades were all his doing.

And the best part? No more brawls.

The purpose behind his transfer was not something entirely anticipated for the Toussaint family as a whole. His mother's newfound pregnancy had rocked the boat of stability, but luckily both his mother's and father's families stepped in to support. Two of Alphonse's maternal uncles and his paternal grandma flocked to Hogsmeade to ensure a smooth pregnancy for Sarai. Fabian, however, was unable to support his mother as much with his role as Headmaster, which left the man understandably occupied on most occasions even when present within Hogwarts' walls.

After debates and discussions, Fabian ultimately stepped down from his position and transitioned to Hogsmeade as well, where he and his mother purchased a secondary residence from the family's home in Jacmel, Haiti. This way, Sarai could be present with her newly delivered babies while also remaining present in her role as the Professor of Herbology, Fabian can take a break from work to be a stay-at-home father, and they could all return to Haiti during holiday breaks and summertime together as a family.

The only downside of this decision by his parents was that Alphonse was left alone in the United States of America—a still somewhat foreign country—without so much as a relative who lived there. As a compromise for his reluctance to transfer mid-year, Alphonse would complete his 6-month tenure at Ilvermorny, say goodbye to his newly acquired friends, and transition to Hogwarts come the start of next term.

The Nordens were certainly no saints and had notoriety attached to their names; all linked to one pest in particular: Willard Leveret.

It was initially unknown to the Norden progeny that her uncle-in-law's untimely demise in August of 2024 was an extermination orchestrated by none other than her family. Even with his behind-closed-doors trial over a decade ago, Willard's crimes of cursed-item trafficking, misuse of magic, and corruption clouded over the glorious name of the Nordens. Sacrifices had to be made; it was simply the natural order of things. And with Willard gone, the family could finally be untethered from that shadow.

So they thought.

Flocking to Trier, Germany, however, had not been on Remedy's 2025 bingo card—nor was the murder of her mother, Hyacinth, in July of this summer.

After her father's work-related celebratory gala where Remedy's beloved mother had been assassinated by a still-unknown perpetrator (OOC: Carolus Leveret), it was the executive decision of her paternal grandmother and Norden matriarch, Ordelia, to surrender Remedy to the custody of her cousin and cousin-in-law, Barrow and Xailah Alptraum-Leveret. Her father acquiesced to his mother's decision; they thought it wise for Remedy to remain in a household offering more stability than Derrick could provide. It served as an additional layer of protection should the individual behind Hyacinth's abrupt murder return for a repeat attack that could put Remedy in harm's way.

Despite her father drowning his sorrows in mourning his wife and the distance, Derrick was still an active and good father. He both wrote often and visited Remedy when stable and off-time allotted, but he remained that of a broken man with an even more broken spirit. In the care of Barrow and Xailah, Remedy was able to recover and heal from her mother's death.

The remainder of the summer was spent learning both German and Russian to prepare Remedy for the soon-arriving journey of attending the Durmstrang Institute, leaving Hogwarts and her home country behind under the new name of Remedy Alptraum.

Never one to be dubbed a 'delinquent,' it was most certainly proven that Alphonse was indeed a proud young man. Bright and boisterous as the Sun, he was, and his pride begetted him to act unapologetically himself in all aspects. His "realness" garnered him both favor and disdain from both his peers and superiors alike. It goes to show the ancient proverb, "The brighter the star, the faster it may burn," could not have been more true in the volatile case of Alphonse J. Toussaint.

In his first year at Castelobruxo, the eldest Toussaint progeny fit in immediately. Innate charm, good looks, and talent on a broom would thrust the boy into Castelobruxo's social elites. It wasn't until his second year in the Brazilian institution of magic that the boy truly gained his footing. Alphonse had since collected throngs of dependable friends, maintained associations with other student cliques, earned the position of first-string Chaser in Quidditch, retained a decent grade average from the efforts of his little brother's aid, and generally was an affluent charmer in his endeavors. While he would dub himself a "leader" then, it didn't take long for his professors to realize that the boy was an antagonist at best.

To call Alphonse a "bully" would be a stretch, but his solution for conflict resolution, well, his Professors and Headmistress began to detest him for it. It wasn't as though the boy would go out of his way searching for trouble or disrupting class. Still, Alphonse refused to hold his tongue in the presence of the actual bullies of Castelobruxo amid class or the corridors when the eldest Toussaint detected them in the act—his subtle words transitioned warnings, warnings to threats, threats into promises, and promises into clashes of fists regardless of the setting.

The boy cared little for the consequences if it meant absorbing the damage and shockwaves from his peers who lacked the courage or were too powerless to retaliate. To his elation, his handling of the situation did aid the trajectory of his classmates' outlook and experiences at Castelobruxo, but not without further consequences. Detentions would be served with a smile on Alphonse's face, and numerous correspondences would be delivered to his mother, Sarai Toussaint, and his stepfather, Fabian Fleischer. Together, the couple would strategize solutions for their eldest son's behavior and would both send their own written reprimands to their son, but the boy ignored their warnings. It wasn't until Alphonse had taken it a bit too far one evening, breaking a boy's nose and knocking out teeth, that Headmistress Esmeralda Fernandez would expel Alphonse from Castelobruxo.

With English, albeit broken, being only a second language often used in the household to communicate with his stepfather, it was realized that the only institute the boy could go to would be Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. To the family's relief, Fabian currently oversaw this school following the tragedy in Hogsmeade. This transition between institutions would allow his stepfather to take Alphonse's education and erratic behavior into his own hands, molding his son to be a better student and young man.

Always take the opportunities given to you. This is what Jamie had always been taught by her parents, to be the best you couldn't leave possible opportunities to make you the best lying around without taking them. This is why when Jamies parents got the opportunity to further their careers they didn't hesitate to take it, of course taking Jamie into consideration, and as it would help her further her own education so she happily agreed to the opportunity.

Jamie's dad was a lawyer and Jamie's mom was a retired auror who stepped down after Jamie was born to raise her child herself, and once Jamie had started school had gone back to help train new aurors. During the winter holiday Jamie was sat down by her parents and told about the offers they had received. Jamie's dad had gotten an offer from a godo friend of his to become a partner in his lawfirm in Japan which would be a big step up in his career, and Jamies mom had gotten an offer to come and help train new aurors in Japan. Both of these offers meant that the older Carvilles would be getting big leaps in their careers and that was something they couldn't easily turn down.

So having told Jamie about the offers they had gotten they asked her if she wanted to go, as they wouldn't take them if she didn't want to go. Although they were big on being the best they were also big on family and they could likely get other offers in the future, although maybe not as good. And as Jamie had been learning Japanese herself for a while now being practically fluent, due to being an overachiever and having decided that English and French weren't enough, she knew that the transfer wouldn't be as difficult as it could be. Not wanting to hold her parents back from taking these promotions Jamie looked into the school in Japan, and liked what she saw. They seemed to be big on achieving, something she was very good at, and offered pretty much the same courses as Beauxbatons did so she wouldn't be missing anything critical. They also seemed to have a decent Quidditch team which would she would absolutely be applying for as soon as she could, she couldn't be falling behind now could she.

Having decided that her parents having better options would also give her better options and that this would be a good way to become even better than she already was Jamie agreed to move, curious as to what her new life would look like.

Arno's feeling regarding his life events were a bunch of jumbled emotions. He felt both dread and excitement at the prospect of leaving behind Castelo. He'd come to find himself as a part of something, finally found his footing. Only for his mother to interfere as he saw his future life at castelo come crashing down on him. He was leaving behind the friends he had made, lessons he had learned and the memories that had shaped his identity as a young wizard.

Much had happened during his time as castelo, not all of it good but Arno cherished the life he had lived in Castelo. Yet during his visit to France and Hogwarts, Arno had grown open to the idea of seeing rest of the world by his own eyes. Instead of settling for other's views he was somewhat ready to experience things on his own. The Prospect of a fresh start in another country was growing on him eventually, from the day his mother told him about the move to the day they were finally supposed to leave, there was much change in Arno's reaction towards her decision.

His mother's decision did not come out of unreasonable choices either, it was a necessity and a planned move as she had taken on the mantle of the head of Russian branch of his Grandfather's business with a determination to expand and progress it. It was one of their less producing assets and she wished to change that within due time before it garnered them significant loses. While her focus was on her career and ambition, she had also hoped at a chance to repair their relationship. His mother had been absent for much of his important days and was well aware of it. Though she was nowhere near to mastering the art of being an emotionally available mother, he could notice the positive changes in her behaviour and actions. All her efforts he resorted to meeting her halfway, as she was the only parent he had anymore.

The weeks leading up to the move were quite chaotic, involving long hours of studying Russian. He studied on his own during school and took the help of a tutor during his off days. This discussion about moving was a long winded one and took it's sweet time coming to fruition, giving Arno enough time to grasp an above average knowledge of the Russian language.

Reason for Transfer (400 words min.); During the 2024-2025 school year, unbeknownst to Ariam, their father Santino contracted dragon pox as a result of a long business trip overseas. The family elected not to inform Ariam until they came home at the end of the school year, in an effort for them to finish the year in peace, that decision only made the blow harder upon Ariam's return back home. In the month before camp Ariam did not see their father in order to avoid the sickness, though the many healers coming in and out the house were not ignored by children of the Vargas family. Soon Ariam's mother Marisol came to a decision with Araceli, Santino's sister and Ariam's aunt. The children will join Araceli and her husband Vyacheslav in their manor just outside Vladivostok, Russia, for the time being, the plan is for the three of them to live there and for Araceli to take over his merchant business, until Santino returns to health eventually. At least, that's what the Vargas family hope will happen, the healing process has been unusually slow, and Marisol has been weaker then usual.

Ariam spent the month before camp in a sluggish state, their mother's sorrow not escaping their gaze. The days where they actually felt like doing something they spent with Vyacheslav learning Russian, at least the one bright side of all this is that Ariam finally learned another language, mamá mom always wanted them to learn more. Ariam liked the man, his wandmaking history made for good conversation and frankly they would like to learn to play the organ from him, but nothing could stop the dread caused by the idea of moving, even if they had accepted it by now as unavoidable. It did not take an observant duelist to realize the state Ariam's mother was in, there was a reason they took it upon themselves to look after the twins, trying to entertain them with stories from school.

Koldovstoretz sounded...cold, apparently the school is on a mountain, by all means it seemed like the opposite of Castelobruxo in many ways. Sure it snowed in Chile, but not in Puerto Octay, Ariam, for one, really liked the warmer weather of their hometown. It would take time to get used to Russia's colder climate, and the different ways of teaching there. Still Ariam is determined to excel in their studies as usual, even if they have to take the Basic Russian Programme to actually keep up.

Chewing the piece of gum in her mouth she stared out the window of the plane. The gum at this point had no flavour and felt like she was chewing a brick. There was one lone cloud in the dark sky. The night has came. Glancing over she looked as her father slept on. Yawning she grabbed his phone and checked it. Its 4:30 am in a different timezone. Doing the math in her head she assumed that it would be around 10 pm back at home. And her father was already knocked out. She remembered when she was younger her babysitter had to stay overtime cause he would come home around one. Hopefully he still doesn't. Sighing she turns it off and flips back over. In thirty minutes theyll offically in the new place to call home. Well just Hazel. Her father couldnt quit his job and until he finds one in Paris that is related to what hes doing, shes going to stay with an old family friend. Yea right, family friend. I guess thats what you call your late mothers ex fiance. But her father said that they use to be close when her mother was still alive and he use to go to Beauxbatons so he could help her with his schooling. So now Hazel will be with him until her father finds a job there.

Speaking of her mother, her mind wanders to the three very thick diaries that are hidding in her one of her suitcases. Sure those are what sparked off their argument and made her father feel guilty which now allowed her to move here but she couldnt part with them after reading what was on the cover. Quand Je serai parti When Im Gone After storming to her father and demanding to tell her what this is (although she couldve read them) her father got mad. He yelled at her for going through his stuff and hiding things behind his back. She yelled back about the same things other the going through stuff. In the end she learned that those journals were her mothers and was about her life and who she was. Her father learned that Hazel learned french from Axel and somehow (mostly from hearing her father) became fluent in it. So before Hazel went back to Ilvmorny she manage to convince her father to let them move to Paris, her mothers home town.
