APPEARANCE Reducio Anastasia takes more from her mother's side, having brown wavy hair with some blonde strands, she always keeps it well combed and takes good care of it, usually braiding it or in a pony tail. Her skin is pale and some freckles are sprinkled on her nose, her eyes are light brown and her face round and well proportioned. She likes to have a nice countryside aesthetic in her daily wear, that is why she usually uses skirts and cardigans in autumn-winter or shorts, a simple T-shirt and a straw hat for the summer and spring. If she isn't wearing her Koldo uniform, she still has the habit of using muggle clothing in casual ocasions.

PERSONALITY Reducio Anastasia isn't a spoiled child at all, in fact, she would have needed a bit more attention from her parents while growing up , which was why Anastasia had decided that she would give more attention and kindness to the people that she would meet along the way. In her prespective, Anastasia would get more kindness if she gave kindness to others, so it was very rare to see her lose her temper over something. She is the kind of person to try and find another way when problems come along, and isn't scared to making new friends and aquintances. She is intelligent, however, she can get bored easily while studying. While in class, her mind wanders off somewhere else completely, that is why she isn't known for paying much attention in class.

Anastasia Prokovdine was born in a small white house on the outskirts of Sortavala, Russia, from two Wizard born parents in mid September 2009. The Prokovdines weren't very much known in the wizarding community, in fact, the purebloods who did know of their existence decided to keep their distance from them, whether it was for gatherings or for anything else. Why, this family had started mingling into the маглы* society, not to harm them but to practically be them. The Prokovdines thought that the маглы were one of them, not different just because they didn't have any magical properties.

This had gone well for some time, until the маглы suspected something~ they weren't the same people. The snitch was that the Prokovdines were cursed. Yes, cursed they said, they weren't normal, they were very very different. Magic wasn't an easy thing to hide, and the Prokovdines are not particularly good at doing so. In fact, they were discovered many times doing strange things, especially the children who were already discovering their powers and unable to control them.

When Anastasia grew from the baby phase into a toddler, she went to a маглы school in town, and was treated like a normal child for some time until she was in the 3rd grade in elementary, the homework and schoolpapers that she had in front of her started to levitate, and the innocent child started telling her маглы friends that while the papers flew in the air, she felt something in her hands and arms, as thought it was her the one who was magically levitating them. Of course, all of them started to suspect her and the rumor grew that Anastasia was a witch. The grown ups didn't believe the little ones, they were only amused of how well their children could tell stories like that, however, the other children in the town started to believe the rumor, making Anastasia infamous. The girl had told her family and they decided to go into hiding, protecting the house with protection spells such as anti-muggle ones so that they would be assured that no one would tresspass their territory.

When Anastasia turned eleven years of age, a letter arrived to her country home saying that she was accepted into Koldovstoretz because she was a witch. Anastasia had no doubts that she wanted to go to this school. She was a witch, and she could not stop that.

Luka had always been lucky. Right from his birth he had been privileged. He was born in Moscow. His father, Ivan, was a very successful doctor. His mother, Irena, had been a dancer in the Bolshoi Ballet. He had lacked for nothing, growing up, and his parents had been more than happy to indulge him in whatever fancy took hold of his interests. Though he tried many things, two stood out and he continued to pursue them with enthusiasm; fencing and ballet. He attended a private elementary school where his generally friendly and outgoing nature made him many friends. He was liked by his school teachers despite his tendency to only excel in the things he liked and praised by his extracurricular instructors for his passionate devotion.

At ten, Luka discovered that he was not like other boys. He had been walking home from fencing practice when he came across a cat stuck in a tree and simply couldn’t bear to leave it there, helpless. So he climbed into the tree and gathered up the frightened beast but on his way down, he slipped and fell. Panicked, he squeezed his eyes shut, tensing as he expected to connect with the hard pavement below yet it never came. He opened his eyes slowly to realize that he was hovering just inches above the ground. Somehow he had stopped himself from falling. That night when he told his parents what had happened, everything changed. It was revealed to Luka that they were wizards, though they had been hiding their magic for years, pretending to live as muggles out of fear. Not long after that, for his own safety, they told him, Luka was sent to Koldovstoretz where he began his magical education.

Luka was a passable student, though his control of magic tended to be a bit awful. Where he truly excelled was in Quidditch. Soon after joining the school, he grew fascinated with the sport and immediately applied to join the team. Once again blessed with luck, a position opened up shortly after he applied and he became a Keeper.

Calming Presence
There had always been something about Luka that drew others to him. He had always been a cheerful child, always humble despite being raised in privilege, always helpful though it earned him nothing in return. He was always the first to offer help, whether it was a kind word of encouragement, a hug when a friend was upset, a helping hand with homework, or with chores around school or the house. He was always the first to stand up for his friends and the first to try to calmly talk his friends out of bad ideas or fights. As he grew older, more and more often his friends would turn to him for support. He was always the one they asked for advice, or went to when they just needed to vent or a shoulder to cry on. When he joined Koldovstoretz, he had lost all of those friends and had to start over. Though he was sad to lose his old friends, he didn’t let that stop him from making new ones. Cheerful and friendly, this calming presence he seemed to have once again attracted people to him and it wasn’t long before he was once again surrounded by others who would turn to him for support. A kind word, a shoulder, a hug, or an enthusiastic cheer, all things he happily gave to make those around him happier.

This innate ability he seemed to have truly began to shine when he joined the Quidditch team. Even before he took to the skies as the Keeper he was there to support his teammates, cheering them on or offering support. He never let their losses weigh down the team, always reminding them of where they had done well and doing his best to talk down those who were angry. Soon enough, his teammates were also looking to him for that calming presence he provided. Once he became Keeper, flying high with them, he continued to shout his support, this time more actively, as he guarded the goal for them. The boost in morale he gave his team was noticeable. Those few times where he could not make a game due to injury or absence, his teammates seemed less sure of themselves and were always thankful when he returned. He had become, not just another teammate, nor even just another Keeper. Luka, cheerful, helpful, supportive Luka, had become the heart of his team.

Rosella looks like a perfect combination of her mother and her father. Her eyes are an icy blue, something that comes from her father's side of the family. The girl's hair is a coppery orange, hints of once bleached blonde peaking through at the bottom, this coming from her mother. Her hair is also straight, landing at the bottom of her shoulder blades. Her skin a pale ivory, a few freckles present on the bridge of her nose. She is also tall for her age, standing at 5' 1". She can usually be seen wearing a plain pair of jeans, with a conservative colored long sleeved shirt in her free time. When not wearing her jeans and long sleeved shirt she can be found wearing a flannel over a muggle shirt. Her clothes will normally have paint stains on them, even her normal school uniform.

Rosella is a very friendly person, being mostly extroverted, but prefers to spend more time with her close group of friends. Rosella has a tendency to forget who she is talking to and will talk back at people randomly if she feels like they are sassing her, this has gotten her into trouble multiple times. Rosella also loves to assist the younger students, even though some are only a year younger than her, she likes to feel like she is being helpful.

Rosella Sokolov is born in Gatchina, Russia. Her father, Alexei Sokolov, is a wizard-born having attended Durmstrang, now working as a journalist for a small wizarding paper. Her mother, Camille Augustin is a muggle born witch, having attended Beauxbatons when of age, she works at a small muggle bakery in town part time. Rosella has a strong relationship with both of her parents, although she enjoys spending more time with her father's side of the family.

Rosella was like most toddlers, curious and getting into trouble constantly. Many days, Rosella could be found in the kitchen, following her mother around as she made different food. This day was like any other for Rosella as she followed her mother around. Her mother had been spending time perfecting a beef stew recipe a friend had recommended. Being the curious toddler she was, Rosella had managed to pull multiple recipe books off of the one shelf in the kitchen, dust flying everywhere. This caused poor Rosella to sneeze. In the background, a loud pop could be heard though as the stew Camille had been making on the stove exploded all over her. Rosella's first instance of magic, had somehow caused the stew cooking nearby to explode everywhere. Alexei found this to be rather amusing, while Camille had to spend hours cleaning the stew off of every surface of the kitchen.

2012
Rosella had continued showing more random acts of magic, although nothing uncommon for a magic toddler. Her parents have begun teaching her how to mostly control her magic as to keep it hidden from the others in her school. She has also begun to learn French, like her mother.

2013
Rosella has begun attending a local маглы school. She made many friends, a few of which she later discovered to be like her. She got in trouble often for drawing on random things and talking back to the teachers. She has had no random acts of magic occur since beginning schooling.

2014-2018
Rosella's family had arguments over what school the girl would attend. Camille Sokolov wanted her daughter to attend Durmstrang, as that was where Alexei had attended school, and it was well known in the wizarding community. Alexei on the other hand wanted Rosella to attend Koldovstoretz, as even though he himself had not attended the school, he had heard many good things about the school from his cousin, who had attended, and thought the girl would thrive better than if she were to attend Durmstrang. It was agreed upon that, if given the opportunity, Rosella would attend Koldovstoretz on the agreed that if she did not like the school, she would be removed and sent to Durmstrang. Rosella was not the brightest student in school, spending more time drawing on her papers then paying attention to class.

Summer 2019
Rosella had been given the opportunity to attend Koldovstoretz, something her father was fairly proud of. Her mother was not the happiest about it, but encouraged her daughter to do her best at the school and allowed her to attend. As a present for getting the opportunity to attend the school, and for being such a wonderful child, she was gifted a Newfoundland puppy named Rory.

2019-2020
Rosella began her first year at Koldovstoretz. None of her friends who could do magic attended the school, so she had to make new friends by herself. She managed to make a close friend group with others who she stuck with throughout the year. Rosella made it through the year without getting into a lot of trouble, but many of her papers were turned in with draws around the edges of them.

2020-2021
Rosella began her second year at Koldovstoretz. She decided quidditch, broom racing, and dueling was not her thing and stuck to her drawing rather than sports. She attempted to not get in trouble as often for mouthing off, but had a tendency to forget and has had multiple detentions.

Rosella learned early on when attending Koldovstoretz, that if she wanted to paint in peace she had to get creative. Slipping through the shadows became second nature to the girl, moving in and out of rooms quickly and quietly. Rosella's art work had caught the interest of many of the younger students at Koldovstoretz, many of them wanting to touch the art work and add something to it. If she wanted to keep her art work intact, she had to be able to move quickly and quietly while carrying her supplies.

In the beginning, the girl had been seen by other students multiple times, something that annoyed her greatly as she thought she was doing a good job at sneaking around. Over time though, she was able to move in and out of the rooms without being noticed, moving on to working her way around the grounds without notice. This was a harder task for the girl, as the grounds were more open with only to occasional trees, building, and tall grass. It only took her a few months, but Rosella was finally able to move around the grounds to paint without being noticed.

Rosella's ability to move quickly and quietly, in and out of rooms became extremely useful when she looses track of time while painting or drawing. Many times the girl would forget what she was supposed to be doing, ending up late for classes and meals. This occurred more often then the girl's parents would have hoped for, but it did anyway. Being able to slip in and out of the rooms quickly allowed the girl to enter classes and meals without getting in trouble for being late. If she had been caught for all of the times she had ended up late, her parents would have taken all of the art supplies away for the rest of the year. She had been caught once or twice since she started at Koldovstoretz, but it was always deemed as a simple mistake that wouldn't happen that often.

Rosella has used the ability outside of school multiple times as well, mostly to get into other rooms quickly after having talked back to her parents, something she did more often than she should. Staying hidden gave her the ability to push her punishments back a bit until her parents found her, although it never got her completely out of trouble.

Rosella from a young age had been scared of almost everything, especially after she showed her first signs of magic. The girl didn't want to leave the house, afraid she would do something to get them in trouble. Her parents knew they were going to have to teach her that there was nothing to fear but fear itself. They slowly started to have her participate in different activities that scared her originally. She had to go with her mother to go grocery shopping, she wasn't allowed to sleep with a night-light anymore, and she wasn't allowed to check under the bed for monsters anymore. They did everything they could to prove to the young Rosella that there was nothing to fear.

By the time Rosella was starting school, nothing scared the little girl. Even the thought of getting in trouble with her parents didn't scare her as much anymore, so she thought talking back was a good idea sometimes. She would walk around the house without the lights on. If she heard strange noises coming from around the house, she would walk towards them or completely ignore them instead of freezing up in panic or fear.

The only time Rosella felt fear after her parents taught her there was nothing to fear, was when she left for Koldovstoretz. The girl would be leaving her parents for a months at a time without seeing them at all except holidays. The girl was afraid that no one was going to like her and she would want to leave. Everything was changing at once, but she in the back of her mind that there was nothing for her to fear in the slightest.

By the time Rosella arrived at Koldovstoretz, she had discovered that there really was nothing to fear. If you feared something, you were giving it control. She took control and knew that she could make this a great experience and she would only be miserable if she was afraid the whole time. The girl continued to do activities outside of her comfort zone, sneaking out to paint in the fields at night, sneaking into class late, or sometimes talking back to teachers knowing she would get in trouble for it. Rosella was truly fearless, she told herself that as long as she did not let it control her, she would be able to do almost anything in her life without any issues.

Quiet and charming, Vasilisa was raised in what seemed to be quite a storybook environment. Pureblooded, considerably wealthy, she had what most kids merely dreamed to have. Despite the stereotype that depicted every child being raised as such as pompous and greedy, the young blonde found peacefulness in appreciating the smaller things.

Reducio Nikolayeva is a feminine surname that means ‘those who trade flowers’. Reducio Smirnova is derived from an adjectival nickname smirnyj, that means quiet, still, peaceful, gentle. ➽───────────────❥

A P P E A R A N C E

Similar to the rest of her blood, the Smirnovs obtain a particular beauty that is found in all of their heiritage. Fair porcelain skin, large sea coloured eyes, and blonde hair that appeared to be as white as the freshest snow in Russia. She hasn't quite reached an age where wearing makeup appeals to her, however, applied mascara and bits of highlight is something she is always found to be wearing. The style she presents herself with could be considered the average dark academia, her closet filled to the brim with trenchcoats, turtlenecks, all of which in muted colors. One of her signature accessories are her simple mary janes with a metal heart buckle.

BACKSTORY.

Some could find being born in Moscow stereotypical, the same pompous family, their riches blinding them from any real hardships one must face in the world, and however wealthy the Smirnovs were, their life was anything but smooth sailing. Vasilisa's mother, Victoria Smirnov had been of indescriable beauty, so mesmerizing some had rumored she was a full blooded Veela. Although it was untrue, some still speculated that she had used her "allure", tricking Dmitri Jeliokov into marrying her, while others theorized she seduced him to boost her status and reputation. As more false ideas spread, the more attention the Smirnov's gained as a whole, which meant more eyes soon fell upon young Vasilisa as she grew older in age.

Other children began to pick on her, as attending an all witch and wizards primary school gave the kids access to information normal ones would not. Young children could be mean, brutal, their words carrying such damage they aren't even aware of. Though despite their vicious attacks against her and her family name, Vasilisa found herself unphased, tranquil even. Her fellow peers took notice quickly and even seemed to realize it was foolish to taunt her.

Due to Vasilisa being quite a care-free spirit, she attempted to fit in the most she could regardless, working her way up the ladder of popularity among her peers. Instead of being cruel or harsh, she welcomed those different than her, acting as a shield for those who needed protection. With the false rumors of Victoria Smirnova being a Veela in disguise, the speculations were not made any better once Vasilisa came to be. While her hair was beautiful and fair, with her hair a shade of blonde that practically resembled fresh printer paper, there was also something else about the girl, something.. distracting.

It was no secret that Vasilisa was conventionally attractive. She upheld most of society's beauty standards, from her slim pale figure to the large doll-like eyes her genes so very generously bestowed upon her. What shocked others was how someone so young could have such an aura of beauty. Being attractive isn't even much of a triumphant feat, if anything there were billions are pretty girls in the world; and plenty in Koldovstoretz at that. Though what made Lissa stand out among the others was her long-lasting effect around others, how she was so radiant it seemed to distract the others around her. Oblivious as she is, this distraction she put upon others was hardly noticed. She continued life as normal, the pleasant words and kind smiles she received assumed only to be common decency.

The older she grew the more attention she gained, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Friends came easily, as did compliments. She saw how others looked at her, how they suddenly lost interest in what they were doing before to merely get a glimpse of her as she walked by. However, being vain had never been a trait of the young girl, her feminine and blessed features always being appreciated and grateful for.

Upon attending her first Quidditch match of school, she remembers distinctly how the charming seeker glanced at her midst a game, almost falling off their broom at the sight of Vasilisa. No one could truly tell it was her that caused the diversion, though having been accustomed to such outbursts she knew instantaneously. A part of her felt guilty, being such a disturbance for others. Surely others didn't see her as such, as it wasn't necessarily a bad one, though it felt odd to be such the center of attention.

Although Vasilisa's outer beauty may shine, her personality doesn't lack far behind. Appreciative, gentle, and kindhearted is how most would describe her. Without a negative bone in her body, Vasilisa has yet to figure out what truly makes her angry and upset. Constantly found with a small smile on her face, she is the embodiment of all things wholesome.

PERSONALITY Reducio Irina was the type of person you would see at every social event or gathering. She is what you would call a popular person, almost everyone she interacted with became an acquaintance of hers. She is bubbly, outgoing, and kind but has a bit of an issue with trust. Ever since her childhood she found it hard to tell others secrets about herself and her family. Due to this she loves to let others talk about themselves and will always be a great listener. She has a very competitive nature though and will get semi-aggressive if someone stands between her and victory.

BACKSTORY

Born to Onisim and Zoya Afanasyeva at the start of February 2007 was a girl they named Irina. They wanted to name her that because she was their new found мир or peace and that was what the name Irina meant. Her middle name followed the Russian tradition of being a patronymic, it was her fathers name, Onisim, with the female suffix -ovna. Both Onisim and Zoya were maglys or маглы and knew of the folklore stories but didn’t believe that it could be real.

At the start of her life, Irina and her parents were very happy, everything was going great and they even adopted a young boy who was 2 years older then Irina. The Afanasyevas were quite content with their life until magic started emerging in Irina. One day all of a sudden she got angry at her brother and somehow burned his homework that he was working on. Neither of her parents believed her brother when he said that she had set in flames.

Her parents had forgot about the incident but other weird things started to happen revolving around Irina. Her dad had started to believe that she was something of the folklore and wanted to abandon her but Zoya wouldn’t let that happen. Soon Irina, 6 at the time, had an accident with her blooming magic involving her dad and it winded up causing a lot of family problems. Her brother had already disliked her since the homework incident but now her dad was pushed over the edge. Both of them winded up leaving together and stopped communicating with Zoya and Irina.

Irina wasn’t sure what had happened at first but soon came to understand it. Her mom stayed with her through the tough times and always told her “Что бы ни говорили другие, не бойтесь быть самим собой”(No matter what anyone else says, don’t be afraid to be your unique self). Irina’s magic had subsided a bit and she starting going to маглы school. At the start she was scared for someone to find out but with her mom’s help she found a way to suppress her magic and be herself at school.

She loved going to school and really enjoyed making friends but never told anyone about her magic. It was a bit of a struggle at her house since her mom now had to support Irina alone but they made it work and still had a good time together. Irina had made a really close best friend over a few years and decided to to tell her one day about the odd stuff that happened to her. She had expected the friend to still want to be friends with her but she stopped communicating with Irina completely. This was the incident that gave her major trust issues. Just to safe in case her old friend told anyone, Irina and Zoya moved a few towns over.

They thought that this would be a new opportunity and Zoya continued to tell Irina the same phrase, “ Что бы ни говорили другие, не бойтесь быть самим собой”(No matter what anyone else says, don’t be afraid to be your unique self). Irina magic continued to grow though and they started to get worried that the secret would get out soon. Surprisingly someone in the new town figured out about her magic and was a magical person themselves. They told Irina and Zoya about the great opportunity Koldovstoretz was. It took a bit to convince Irina to leave her mom but Zoya convinced her that it was going to help her a lot and that she needed to go.

With help from the magical person, Irina went to the school at the age of 9 and really enjoyed that everyone was like her. She went to follow her mom’s advice to be herself and found it much easier in this new school.

Irina was a very curious girl and happened to notice many things outside the ordinary, including her rising magic. Ever since she was a baby she seemed to notice all of the little things out of place that others never saw. From the movement of leaves on trees to what paint is wet or dry. Things that people tried to hide, Irina would find it out by some way. This was also more tied into her gut feeling. Everyone had one but more often than not it seemed as though her’s proved right.

An instance of this was when she was 7 and played a game called hide and seek with a few of her magly friends. Since no one else who volunteer she was nominated to be the seeker. They were outside on a playground with plenty on places to hide and after counting for a minute Irina was off. Thinking for a moment she followed her gut feeling to look behind some of the trees. Surprisingly enough, all but one of her friends were hiding behind the trees. They all groaned and thought that she cheated due to the fact that she found them so fast. There was still one person to be found and Irina noticed out of the slightest corner of her eye, movement towards her left. Heading that direction, she ran without even thinking and just like that she found the last person.

It wasn’t that impressive to win hide and go seek but it kept happening time and time again that she would win within a minute. Due to this all of her friends made her hide instead of being the seeker and the result turned out somewhat the same. Irina would not be found for so long that her friends would give up. They all called her out for cheating wouldn’t play it again because they wanted a chance to win. The thing was, Irina wasn’t cheating at all, she was just trusting her gut feelings hiding in spots she believed they would overlook.

One time when it was just Zola and Irina, they were walking to magly school. It was typical for them to do this because they didn’t live to far away and it was nice to spend time together. There was no sidewalk but it was a mainly unused road. The two of them were holding hands walking in the street when Irina had a bad feeling come across her. She pulled her mom and herself out of the road and into the grass. Zola was unsure what was going on but decided to trust her daughter. It was a good thing she did because out of nowhere a car came speeding down the road with 3 police officers trailing it. If Irina hadn’t acted on her gut in this moment they would both have serious injuries.

Irina always trusted her gut and recently thought of it more like a warning. When she noticed the things out of the ordinary she would always take note because you never know what could be lurking.

Fears. What really determined a fear, was it a part of your brain or natural instinct to be afraid. Irina Afanasyeva was a just a fourteen year old girl yet she felt like she had already conquered all of her fears. She had been abandoned by her father, brother, and her best friend just due to the stigma that being a magical person held. She had already been through so much and was not going to let anything or anyone stop her again. Of course she had some normal fears like dying or losing her mom but she had rarely ever been scared or frightened by her friends at Koldovstoretz. It used to be a game they played, everyone would try and find a way to scare Irina, they wanted to make her flinch or scream, anything to get a reaction.

Time after time, Irina wouldn’t budge and even found herself in the position where she would wind up scaring them instead. It was all quite a fun game and almost everyone in the school knew that if they wanted to have a challenge scaring someone it would be Irina. They also knew that the best person to call when going on a scary trip was Irina because she wouldn’t be shaken up a bit.

There was one time where Irina had decided that she wanted to travel into the depths of one of the old run down cottages that used to be used for classrooms in the middle of the night. She had gathered a few friends and planned to have a great time exploring. It was almost pitch black when they snuck out of their rooms and took the hike to the cottages. There were 5 of them to start and one chickened out on just the walk. Another one wanted to leave once they reached the room but was too terrified to go anywhere alone so they stayed with the group. They reached the room and walked inside, flashlights on they explored the whole run down cottage. Everyone except for Irina was screaming at the smallest spider or tiniest noise. Irina was just thinking that the place looked quite cool inside.

They got back to the main school building and you could tell that everyone but Irina were very, very scared. Irina was totally fine with the experience and even thought that she had a good time. It was evident that she really wasn’t afraid of much and her friends even gave her the nickname of “Fearless”.

Calming Presence

Irina was a very kind person and many who come across her find that she has a sense of calm. This makes them trust her and want to share information with her. This wasn’t always the case though, Irina used to be feared but when she came to Koldovstoretz it started to change.

She had a lot of issues arise in her childhood due to the fact that she had magic that caused her friend and family to be scared of her. Due to her past she rarely opens up to people and trusts them. Irina winds up being a very good listener and loves to let others talk about themselves. As an avid, kind, listener, others feel much more comfortable to talk to her. So much so that people have talked to her just so that they could have someone to comfort them and talk it out with them.

One time, an acquaintance of hers came up to Irina in class. They were struggling with learning a spell and turned to Irina for help. Irina had yet to figure it out herself but talked her friend through the different steps of the spell. Just by Irina’s encouragement, her friend succeeded in the spell the next time around.

When coming home from Koldovstoretz to see her mom when she was 12, Irina found herself next to an older woman. She had never met this women before but had started to strike up a conversation with her. This women must have felt at ease with Irina because soon enough she was sharing her opinions on her job. The job she held must have not been for her because she unloaded all of her feelings onto Irina. Irina wasn’t that shocked that this had happened because it had happened before at Koldovstoretz and many told her they just felt like they could trust her. Irina listened and gave some advice to the women about her job situation.

She never met the women again but the women winded up going home wondering why she had just told a young girl all of that. Irina started to find herself in positions like this more often where she listened to others and tried to ease their worries away. It came naturally to Irina now, she would be one of the kindest people someone met and would try to make them feel more comfortable about the situation that they were in.

Outside his home environment, Rodion was known to be a friendly, good kid, always excelled in his academic and always offer a helping hand to people. He is good with his words, very articulate, always appeared to be an educated person, and almost can fit in in every group of people. At school, he is known as the social butterfly, a very confident but not the braggy type, everyone knew who he is (but not his background story). If people outside his family are asked to describe him, they will say the same thing repeatedly, that he is indeed a very charming person. His physical appearance is one of the supporting factors. A friendly smile with a kind eye always painted on his face, at least when he is around people. People gave him a lot of attention that he deeply craved because he did not get any from his parents. Often being complimented of his looks and academic achievement, he will react like “Oh, I’m not that great like you think I am” when the reality is that he wants people to constantly worship his greatness “Oh, yes I’m amazing, please compliment me some more.”

He knows exactly what to say in every situation he’s in, which made people draw into him some more. Manipulate people have always come easy to him like it was his nature. Even though he seemed to be nice to everyone, he will pay more attention to those who he thinks will give him advantages in life, whether it was power, or a good impression in public faces. He can make the most introverted person be comfortable with him, some even spilt a secret or two, which he would use if needed. He will tell people his fake happy or sad stories, depending on the situation and the person he talks to, just to make others think he is a relatable person. People think he’s an open book, but they knew nothing at all.

Despite all of the good things people say about him, he is a very insecure kid who just want his parents’ approval. His desperation to be equal or more than his twin sister is his biggest and deepest desire which he will probably never get. His ‘happy’ and ‘kind’ façade are just a cover up for his insecurities and miserable home life. While some people could see through it, it does take times to do because he is very calculated and careful with his action.

Nate is tall and broad in build. He is taller than other boys his age. He has black, slightly longer, curly hair that is short on the side and falls to the top of his forehead. His eyes are ice blue and his face has prominent features.

Personality: Nate has a good heart and a lot of humor but is rather introverted. At least with people he doesn't know. He is the type that can get by without talking much and is rather cautious and reserved when meeting new people. However, once you make friends with him, he comes out of his shell, talks more, laughs a lot and is always a good listener. He is very strict with himself and very perfectionist minded. He is afraid that he could disappoint people, especially his father

Nate was born as the middle son into a pureblood family. His mother is American and his father is Russian. He grew up in America in a loving and tolerant family with his older brother and younger sister and they still live there today. Ever since he can remember, he knew he was a wizard, as was everyone in his family. It was common in the family for magical powers to be confirmed at an early age and so it was with Nate and his siblings. Nate could just walk and talk when he went to the table one afternoon to get a bottle of juice. He was far too small and his target too far away, but when no one was around to help him he looked back at the bottle and his gaze stared at it. It was as if an invisible hand was moving the bottle. It took only a few centimetres and the bottle fell off the table. Fortunately for him, it was made of plastic.

His mother is a small woman - compared to her husband- with blond hair and loves her family more than anything. She had always done everything for her children to grow up in a loving and tolerant environment. His father, on the other hand, was more responsible for discipline, because without discipline, you would not make it far in life, as his father so often emphasized.

With acceptance to Koldovstoretz, it was time for him to say goodbye. Goodbye to America, to his old school, his friends, his mother, father and sister. At least until the next vacations. His father originally went to this school and it was important to him that his sons do the same. Although his father is very strict and puts a lot of emphasis on good performance and discipline, he still has a good heart and a soft core. Even though both of his sons had to train hard for this school and it had been his wish that they follow in his footsteps, it was hard for him to say goodbye. After much hard training, Nate, like his brother before him, had also managed to get accepted at Koldovstoretz.

From birth, Nate and his siblings grew up bilingual and had a perfect command of both English and Russian. Even though they rarely spoke Russian, their father regularly made sure they didn't forget. But soon it would become his everyday language. Even though Nate was very excited about this new stage, he was nervous. He was uncomfortable being so far away from his family, but never spoke up. He didn't want to be a wimp. He wanted to be brave and proud and so he kept those thoughts to himself. However, he was more than happy that his brother was already in his third year and assured him that it would be a great time. Even though the two had brotherly rivalries with each other from time to time, they would never consider each other serious competition, but would always have each other's backs in a serious situation.

After his first goodbye, he had quickly settled into the new situation. He had made friends, enjoyed his classes, and with the help of his brother, he had been accepted onto the Quidditch team and was able to live out another fondness with it. He also met with his brother regularly, whether it was to exchange stories, to practice Quidditch or boxing together, or when Nate had problems with his homework.

Broken Broomshaft
Nate, as well as his brother, had always been bigger and stronger than other boys their age. On the one hand, they had inherited this from their father, and on the other hand, they owed their strength to training. Not only did they go on camping trips with their father as children, where they had only the bare necessities with them, no magic was used and they learned to survive and defend themselves, but the two brothers also went boxing together and had early found a preference for sports.

But not only survival skills and strength training was on their schedule, they had also learned a lot from their father about Quidditch. Early on, he told his children stories of his childhood and youth. How he made it to the Quidditch team back then and how he had trained for it.

After the two brothers were old enough to hold their own on a broom, the first tryouts began and over time they both became more confident on the broom. After Nate's big brother started his school days on Koldovstoretz, he told many things about playing Quidditch. About flying, practicing, and playing games against each other. In his second year he had made the team and tried to pass on everything he had learned to his brother.

While the two often played Quidditch together during the vacations and Nate tried to learn from his brother, he had quickly been able to find his position of choice. While his brother was an excellent Chaser, as he was nimble on the broom and had always been good at aiming, Nate, however, had more enjoyed the position of Beater. Defending was fun for him, his strength allowed him to hit the bludger strongly and with purpose, and he knew that was his position.

After Nate also started his schooling at Koldovstoretz, he made it on the Quidditch team in his first year. Through the experience he had already gained, the training with his brother, and most of all the good word from his brother, he had made it and was now able to really develop his skills.

Fortunately for him, the team captain also saw his strength in the position of Beater and so his wish came true. But even though he was very strong for his age and already had experience, he still had a lot to learn. His love for Quidditch helped him on the one hand and on the other hand the discipline and ambition he had been taught by his father. He always gave his best to his training, continued to train boxing with his brother besides Quidditch to increase his strength even more and had made a good development. There was still a lot he had to learn and improve, but he was on a good way.

Half a year had passed and in the cool wind and snow they were playing Quidditch when Nate had hit a Bludger with so much force that on the one hand his opponent was thrown off the broom and on the other hand the broom, which by good luck had hit perfectly, broke. In the first moment he could not even realize it, because the view was so limited and that was a very clear lucky hit but nevertheless he was proud of it.

After the game, his team captain immediately approached him and was still amazed by this power and expressed that they would continue to work on it.

Reducio Appearance. Klara is a beautiful girl and draws attention to herself no matter how hard she tries not to be noticed. Her long, golden-brown hair falls a little ways below her shoulders, and her light blue-green eyes are simply stunning. For such a pretty girl, Klara doesn't care all that much about her looks. Brushing her hair and teeth every morning is about as far as she gets - and often she doesn't even do those that! Clothes-wise, the young girl does her best to wear dark, bland colors that will help her slip unnoticed through crowds. Most days, she can be found wearing a plain colored top and skirt, although in the winter she wears leggings and sweaters as well. ──────────────────────── Personality. A very observant girl, not many things escape Klara's attention. Her eyes are constantly scanning whatever room she is in, trying to determine one thing or another about her environment and the people around her. Klara is almost always the fastest in her class to understand a concept or skill, and she can master it just as quickly. When this is not the case, however, she can get upset as she thinks that failing is one of the worst things in life. If she is asked if she needs any help, Klara will turn frosty and cold and say no - even if she is really confused. An introvert, the twelve year old stays as far away from big groups of people as she can, slightly afraid to be around more than five people at a time. Cautious when talking to others in fear that they will end up hurting her, Klara doesn't make many friends - but if you ask her, she'll tell you it's because she'd rather be thinking than talking, unlike most others. When she does end up having a conversation with another person, it can seem like she thinks that they is unworthy of her time, but that's just how she acts when meeting someone at first: distant, and cold. If you can get her to accept that you're not trying to hurt her, however, the attentive, intelligent child she really is will shine through. Characteristics History ────────────── Reducio On a cold wintry night, as snow fell softly outside the window and brushed lightly against the glass, a beautiful baby girl was born. Named Klara for her clear, bright eyes, the young girl's mother absolutely adored her. Her father, however, was a different story. While he was not outwardly cruel or mean to the child, Klara's father's attitude was more... indifferent. To her, it felt almost as if he didn't notice she was there. Or maybe he did, but just decided to pretend otherwise—who knew? A genius man, he was often occupied by work and other brilliant thoughts roaming about his mind, so perhaps people passed off his ignorance of his daughter as simply the fact that he was busy with other things. Still, for Klara this made life at home hard. Sure, her mother loved her very much and was always doing everything in her power to make sure that she was comfortable and had everything she needed, but living with a father who barely ever take notice of you is very, very difficult. This was the case of Klara in particular. Like all children do, Klara felt the need to impress her parents—mainly her father, if she was honest—from a very early age. A very intelligent girl, even from the beginning, Klara was often trying to help her father with his work. He was always concentrated on that, she thought, so what better way to get his attention? The young child would sit by her father's desk for hours on end sometimes, just trying to see if she could pick up enough bits and pieces of information to actually understand what he was doing. But no matter what she tried, he was never impressed. One night, during the summer of 2016, Klara saw something slightly out of the ordinary. The door to her father's study was wide open! As it was practically the middle of the night, and seeing as her father was a very secretive man when it came to his work, this little change sparked a fizz of curiosity in the seven year old. Tiptoeing out of her room, Klara peeked inside. The room was empty—her father wasn't there. Hardly daring to believe this stroke of luck, Klara slipped inside and looked around. There were so many things she'd been wanting to examine without her father in the room—this was her chance! If she could read up on everything her father was doing, then maybe she could surprise him with what she'd learned the next day, she thought to herself excitedly. Creeping farther into the room, she spotted one of those thick leather-bound books he was always crouched over. She raced towards it, and, not looking where she was going, tripped. Her foot had gotten caught around the leg of a table, and Klara knew that the noise she would make upon hitting the ground would definitely wake her parents. Her eyes squeezed shut as she braced for impact... CRASH. At least I know how to land properly, was Klara's first thought before she opened her eyes again. It's definitely a useful skill to know. Still, even landing properly hadn't kept her from all injury, as she soon found out from a strong stinging feeling in her right arm, where she had probably been cut. Sitting back up, Klara gave just the slightest glance towards her arm, not really caring much that she was hurt—although even just that small look told her that her arm was bleeding quite badly. Instead, her gaze swept upwards towards the door, checking if anyone was coming. For a few seconds, everything was silent. Then, hurried footsteps sounded, coming towards her direction. As her eyes widened, Klara realized that there wasn't even enough time for her to scramble under a desk. All she could do was wait. When her father arrived seconds later with his wife Natalia right behind him, he found his daughter sitting on the ground, staring at her right arm in amazement. When her mother asked what was gone, Klara simply pointed at her arm, not even looking up at them. For where the large gash had been, her pale skin was perfectly smooth once more. The whole cut had simply... disappeared. A while after this happened, when Klara was eleven, she received an acceptance letter to Koldovstoretz. Excited to finally learn more about magic, she waited impatiently for her first day at the school of magic to arrive.

There is something about watching, being quiet and observing - you notice things. There was little warning from the school that there was going to be a dance. They were only given a few days notice it seemed, not that anyone seemed to mind except the girls. It was a 'great opportunity' to see how their sister schools lived. That should have been everything, but there was a quiet dis-ease among the adults. As if there was something being left unsaid.

Appearance | Irina had waist-length dark hair and bright blue eyes. She is slightly over average height and often wears a dark blue scarf over her winter coat.

Personality | Irina is kind, and is quite outgoing- probably 80-90% extroverted. Despite this, she is rather unforgiving and is a bit like an active volcano - just waiting to go off. Be nice to her though, and she’ll be nice back.

History | Too be honest, Irina had no idea what had happened in her family life over the years. Plus, she hadn’t actually seen any of her father’s side for as long as she could remember. All she knew was that her father’s brother had disappeared, though she had no idea why. And that her father was a squib, sent to live with his aunt and uncle in Russia, where Irina grew up.

Her first instance of magic was somewhat a strange one. One afternoon in summer, the heat was sweltering, and she really wanted an ice cream from the muggle shop. Though she only had one knut of wizard money, the perfect amount suddenly appeared in her hands (in muggle money, of course!).

Another day, she asked her father what had happened throughout the years of his childhood. To be honest, she was quite surprised to see his answer:

“When I was eleven, my parents figured out that I was a squib, and so sent me to live with my aunt and uncle here in Russia, to live as a muggle. They knew I just wouldn’t be able to handle your uncle Antony being at Hogwarts and learning magic.”

And so she asked him another thing.

“I do miss them very much, and they never answer my owls. I only wish they would love me again.”

And with that, she was left to think about the troubles of her family.
