Director Vorozheykin and his esteemed staff are most pleased to welcome you all to snowy Russia, beginning on February 15th and ending on February 22nd. Below, please find the attached schedule of events (as well as links to the various threads, which will become available as the threads are posted).
Late January:
  • The Show Off Your School Spirit! errand occurred at each of the nine respective schools on January 25th.
  • The sports and yurts sign-up threads have now been closed. If you have not signed up for a sport or yurt already, you will no longer be able to, but you're welcome to say your character came to support friends and not specify where they are staying for the trip.

FAQ
When does this event occur OOC?
The Koldovstoretz event will take place in February and early March. It will not overlap OOC or IC with the Tenūsa Open Day event in December/January so as not to overwhelm players.

How does my character get to Koldovstoretz?
The heads of various schools have arranged groups of Portkeys to take students to the two schools on the assigned dates. You may not state that your character arrived at the school via a different manner.

Am I still allowed to come if I don't plan to compete in an event?
Yes! Cheering on your schoolmates is just as important as competing in one of the athletic events. Even if you don't plan to compete, all students are more than welcome to attend.

How does school work while we are there?
Luckily, Koldovstoretz is an institution of education! There are classrooms aplenty for students to continue their coursework during the week they will be visiting. However, classes will not be held in official threads. If you want to mention that courses are continuing, you are able to do so, but please keep it vague.

Are iNPCs welcome?
Characters from EVERY school are welcome -- iNPCs and PCs alike.

Where will my character be staying at Koldovstoretz?
Students have signed up to reside in an enchanted yurt with their friends. If you have not already signed up for a yurt, you will not be able to RP in a yurt, but you are welcome to say vaguely that you are staying in one.

My character is an adult but I want to attend the event.
Graduated adult characters may not attend as it is for schoolchildren and faculty only.

Can I organize a mini student-run event during one of the days of either event?
Feel free! Simply make sure you consult the calendar and do not accidentally RP your character as being in two places at once. Also, any student-run sport events will not count towards the official medal count of the Olympic Games.

Can I RP at my character's normal school during the dates of either event?
If you are attending this event as an international student (e.g. you are not a Koldovstoretz student at this event), please do not RP as your character being at their normal school during the dates of the event (February 15-22). Your character cannot be in two places at once. It is up to you to realistically only RP as your character being in that one place.
