The final day of the International Magical Olympic Games events had arrived, and with it, an event that had been weighing heavily on the minds of its competitors for days. Bobsledding, a similar sport to broom racing, would not be easy to win. Now, in the late morning of this last day of events, they had gathered to race the course set up for them by the judges. Over the mountains and through the snow, to the finish line we go...

Speaking of the judges, the four of them had scattered themselves throughout the course, ready to act as referees and be on the lookout for any unsportsmanlike conduct or injured players. @Aulis Vorozheykin, the host of the Games, had personally designed the course and was more than ready to watch students flounder upon it. His fellow panel of judges was made up by @Lawrence Maynard from Tenūsa, @Catalina de la Torre of Castelobruxo, and finally Hogwarts' own @Solomon Lear. Any cheaters-to-be had better watch out.

Of course, there were also plenty of onlookers gathered to cheer on their friends and spectate the races, both for the younger years and the elders!

Harumi was determined to cheer on her friend who had joined the bobsledding sport, so she woke up early that day and made sure to arrive before the crowd to make sure she doesn't miss it, and also to get the best seat obviously.

----Unlike him when he cheered her hockey team, she didn't have a banner to hold, her drawing skills weren't that good, not to say it's non-existent, but her skills at it will probably not match anyone who is decently good at it, so she decided against drawing a banner herself.

----However, that doesn't mean she was gonna let down her friend Zephyr, she came with energy, alot of it, one might argue too much energy for the last day of sports, but she is always energised at the oddest of times, and energy wasn't the only thing she had, she brought with her, all the way from Hogwarts, a really strong will, and she was planning to use her all in cheering!

----Finally finding herself a good front row seat, that she can see well from, she sat and waited for the race to start, she really did come very early, she realised, there was little others around for now, but Harumi could bet it'll be very crowded soon, after all there were students from all around the world, alot of them too.

----She wondered if their friends were arriving soon too, the more the merrier after all, and a few voices cheering instead of one would be louder and more enthusiastic.

----During the wait, her mind couldn't help but wander to how she enjoyed playing Hockey with her teammates, and in her opinion the outcome didn't matter, she hopes everyone too is enjoining the journey instead of the destination, the real fun isn't winning, it's learning new things and having your friends cheer on you, that's her opinion at least.

The party had arrived to cheer on Zeph! Max had taken the chance to have a slow morning nestled in the pit of pillows located in the yurt he shared with a few friends. He was generally unsure how he felt about his own game in ice hockey the day before. The result in itself did not bother him, and playing had been a lot of fun. Yet, he could not shake the feeling that he should have performed better. The girls on the team had all done their best, he had no doubts about that. No, it was simply a gnawing feeling of his own performance.

But new day, new adventures. His friends had been there to support the team the day before, so it was only fair that he returned the favor. Not really artistic enough to make a poster worth showing off he decided the only way to do this would be to be as loud as possible. On his way he picked up Rose for company. She was probably headed to join the spectators too.

He stepped up to the first row of benches, with Rose on his back. Walking a bit slowly as to not stumble or drop his cargo. He made up for it in volume though. Hooting and hollering as they went, Max with a big grin on his face. «Go go Zeph!» The event had not even started yet, but just in case Zephyr and his partner could hear and see them it was good to yell. Spotting Harumi further ahead he let go of Rose with one hand and raised it in greeting. «Oy, Harumi! You ready to cheer too?»

Making their way over here bent slightly to let Rose down before straightening and rolling his shoulder. It was stiffer than he thought it would be from the match. Though carrying his friend hardly helped the matter. «Zeph will have the loudest cheering squad of all» He nodded confidently at the two girls before finding a seat. He had not watched much broom racing at Hogwarts yet, as quidditch in his opinion was way more thrilling. But at first glance it did look like a good course.

After her Ice Hockey match which she enjoyed playing with her teammates Rose was now heading to attend the Bobsledding competition in which Zephyr was participating. She and her friends were going to cheer up on Zephyr and his partner as loud as possible.

On that morning Rose was feeling tired and sore from her match the previous day however she couldn't imagine missing her friend's performance. She had to go and encourage him. Rose would have wanted to create a poster but her tiredness and lack of time between her own match and Zephyr's competition she was not able to draw at least a decent one. She was indeed feeling a bit disappointed and bad about it as Rose would have wanted to show all her support but as long as she was present it probably mattered more.

Here Rose was on Max's back heading to the bobsledding competition place both her and Max ready to cheer Zephyr and his partner up like ever. While getting there Rose was enjoying being carried still hoping it was alright for Max who was probably as sore as her due to their match the day before. As they got closer to the row of benches before walking in between Rose looked around trying to spot Zephyr among all the participants as Max was already starting to encourage him. A big smile was plastered on her face as well impatient for the competition to begin and see his friend and partner in action.
Rose too spotted Harumi as she waved at her.

"Harumi! Hi! You're here already!" said Rose louder than her usual voice to make sure Harumi would hear her among all the noises around. Max made his way to where their friend was. Once they reached her Max let go of Rose who carefully set foot on the ground as she saw him rolling his shoulders. He indeed probably was sore from the match and carrying her probably didn't help.

"Thank you Max! Don't worry next time I will use my legs." she said slightly teasing him but meaning it as she didn't want him to be hurt.

"So have you guys spotted Zephyr and his partner?" Rose asked to their friends looking in front of her while sitting down ready to cheer loudly.

Aly watched the two races with her heart in her chest, watching through binoculars and snapping pictures with her magical camera all throughout. She was here partially as a spectator, of course, but mostly as a journalist - especially so after her best mate, @Dealla Prince, and best mate's boyfriend, @Madhup Hexum, so spectacularly fumbled their race's beginning with a missing shoe and ended up simply never leaving the start line. She twirled the end of her hair, tied back in a braid of many tiny hair bubbles, as she took one last glance at Dee and Madhup, deciding with a hopeless sigh that they were never going to have a chance at winning.

It was much easier to jot down notes when Aly had no skin in the game. She gasped and cheered along with the rest of the crowd as the first-through-third-years and the fourth-through-seventh-years navigated obstacles, took damage, attempted (and only sometimes succeeded) to cast spells on each other and themselves, and eventually skidded to a stop on the whistles of the referees. In both cases, the judges needed to measure exactly who won because at least two teams ended in the same unit, centimetres away from gold or silver. What an exciting end to the IMOG!

She picked her way off towards the finish lines, hoping to maybe score an interview or two with some of the Hogwarts students that had finished in various places for her article. She already had many interviews from winners of the previous days' sports, but perhaps one or two more might be willing to speak to her. Truly, she'd never felt more like a journalist than she did right now, pride rushing through her at her work...
