How the Arts & Booths Expo Works

There are two ways to participate in this event (you can do both!):

1. Running a booth: This means that your character runs a booth at the Arts & Booth expo! This is open to students and staff. A booth can be anything your character would like to offer, showcasing their abilities, selling something they've made, teaching new skills, providing a service, etc. The limit is only your creativity.

   This is worth 170 PRIZE TICKETS.

   Details on how to open your own booth can be found below.
2. Visiting booths: This means that your character visits booths run by other students or staff! Visiting a booth requires at least one post in the respective thread.

   This is worth 70 PRIZE TICKETS per booth visited, up to three booths (210 PRIZE TICKETS max.)

The deadline for receiving PRIZE TICKETS for this event is August 24 September 7.

Feel free to keep RPing after, but you will not be able to claim tickets from this.

How to Run a Booth

Setup instructions:

• If your character would like to run a booth at the Arts & Booths Expo, please set up your booth in its own thread in the London Quidditch Stadium.
• Give the thread the name of your booth, along with the tags [Booth] and [Open], for example
  Wand & Whimsy [Booth][Open]
  for a booth that sells little wand decorations.
• Describe what you offer in the starting post (standard RP rules, 200 words min). Be creative! We won't reject duplicate booths, but we're excited to see what you come up with.
• Then, sign up in this thread with the following form:

  Booth name: What's the name of your booth?

• We will then add your booth to the masterlist in the first post of this thread, so other people can visit it.
• If your student is showing off their art as their booth, it will be added to the Arts section of the expo.

Additional notes:

• Please be prepared to interact with people joining your thread. We won't give you hard and fast activity requirements, but a post at least once a week if you have a visitor should be the goal.
• You may make up a few rules in your booth to keep from being overwhelmed, e.g. tagging your booth thread as [Occupied] when there are two visitors in it. This is optional and up to you.
• This should go without saying, but any services provided at your booth are IC and should thus only be rewarded with IC compensation. Please don't ask for site currency from your booth visitors.

Visiting Booths

Visiting a booth is very straight-forward, you pick any booth that interests you from the masterlist above, then post in the thread and interact with the booth owner. Standard RP rules apply!

To claim your PRIZE TICKETS, after the booth sign-ups close on August 1, return here and post the following form, linking to your first post in each booth thread you have visited:
