Magic In A Case  Booth
Derek was not expecting Summer Camp to be his definition of fun. He had expected to go to a muggle camp with his muggle friends, but when his mother drove him to the King's Cross station instead, his hopes were utterly destroyed. But, it turned out to be pretty fun. He got to join a tent with some new people he has never seen befire, and was excited for the Carnival. But, as he mused in his bunk, should he start a booth? He petted his owl, Perseus as he thought. Then, an idea came to him: He would start a booth that would sell exquisitely crafted wand-cases, since he was very good at arts and craft. He quickly ran out of his tent, ignoring the strange stares of people as they looked at his strange combination of both Muggle, Ancient Greek and Wizarding World clothing. He owled his mother to check in with her if it was all right, and then he started collecting his materials and setting up his booth. Finally, all the materials he needed were put into a basket. Then, Derek started to plan his booth's look. He grabbed wood, cloth, and an assortment of tools to start building the basic layer. The details could come later. Finally, after many days of work, and a lot of money, he finished decorating. The poles were made to look like wands, with four cores carved and painted on a slab of wood and displayed in front of their respective wands. He had made the tent's top to be always changing from one shade of blue to another. There was cute underwater creatures displayed around it, like Mermaids, Axolotls, Crab's, Hippocampi and Otters. The back of the booth was filled with pre-made wand-cases, and a basket full of materials were put on the counter, so customers can make one their selves if they wished. Perseus, Derek's owl, was perched on a crab, ready to take flight if he needed.

Magic In A Case  Booth

I continued to explore more booths but could not do it in peace. Of course there would be a crowd but I didn't expect this much! Every booth were crowded with so much people. So I decided to go to a booth that had a less number of people in it.

And the first booth that I saw was not crowded was the one called 'Magic in a case'. There were four poles made to look like wand that was supporting the tent and the top of the tent changed color between different shades of blue! I moved toward the booth. Yaay! A booth that was deserted!

I soon learnt that the booth sold wand cases! 'What a unique store' I thought. I was not in the need of a wand case but I was tempted to look at them. The display at the back of the booth was fantastic! The booth's owner was certainly talented in crafts. I decided to buy one for my father.

I went inside the booth towards the counter. "Hello! I would like to look at your wand cases!!" I said. "How about that. The one rightmost in the third rack?". The boy took out the case from its display and placed it in the counter. I wondered why this booth was deserted.

The wand case looked exquisite. The outer side was made of delicately carved wood with a smooth varnish finish. The inside of the case had a cushion with red linen cloth on top. "Will a 12 inch wand fit here?" I asked. When it was affirmed by the boy, I chose to buy it. I paid for the case and placed it delicately in my bag. Father would love this surprise. "Thanks!!!" I said as I exited from the booth.
