This thread is a part of the Tenūsa Open Day Event 2025

After the excitement and wonder of Tenūsa's opening ceremony had dwindled into night, the silent jungle stilled and the stars shone bringing each and every visitor to a most splendid slumber. Deep in these rich forests with nothing but nature and tranquillity around it was not difficult to slip deep into that dreamy expanse. This was a place where dreams came to thrive, a place sacred to seers and, for many, that foresight lingered in every branch and leaf so much that its very essence ignited the third eye's sight.

But peace was not always as simple as it seemed. In the darkest depths of the forest something unnatural grumbled, something that was not of the essence of this place. A darker magic than the likes of the isle had seen in generations was being brought forth. The shadow in the dark feeding like a poison through its roots infecting them, corrupting them. An influence from something that did not wish to see this spirit of unity succeed, that did not wish for community to rise and progress flow free. That night the darkness hungered and despite the many talents of the sight Lawrence and many others on the Isle possessed, they could not see it in time to stop it.

Thus as the many visitors of the isle slept serenely in their quarters, something slipped between the cracks. Something once natural, but undoubtedly warped. Black tendrils writhed and gathered ready to ensnare its victims as they slept silently, it worked its way up the ridge-lined high houses, burrowed itself through the painted cracks of the wagons and rooted itself under the supports of the rumah adat. Its motivation simple, to constrict, to bind, to destroy. But such was not a quick process and as light began to trickle through into the homesteads glimmering in opposition to the inky mass of vines, the occupants would have time to wake. Yet the question would remain, would they wake in time?

The Main Event Begins
Welcome one and all to the main event of the Tenūsa Open Day. Within this thread you will find the links to your individual stages. The first stage is limited to those who signed up for a homestead but stages 2 and 3 will be open to all that are indexed. This event is fully moderated with moderations occurring weekly or sooner if all participants have posted. Have fun, get creative and most of all do your best to survive!

Rules:
1. To participate, you must be indexed. If you are not indexed yet, please apply here.
2. Moderation will occur each week or sooner in the event that all participants have posted, as this is a moderated event please include your abilities and stats in your trunk and note your moderated action.
3. Stage 2 will open up when the first successful group escapes from stage 1.
