Fair Days
Magic Without Borders - Fair & Farm ExpoTo celebrate the long-overdue inclusion of Part-Beings across all magical schools, this summer camp's committee has gone all out in hiring the Gragnok & Sons carnival company. Mavericks of the inventor's trade, the family is renowned for their state-of-the-art Goblin made rides. Camp will feature their famous Ferris Wheel, Occamy's Flight, Amortunnel, House of Horrors, and Beast-go-Round. The Hogwarts crew has also arranged for classic games, a petting zoo, and free fair food. Students and staff are encouraged to register for a stall in the Crafts and Art expo, an opportunity to showcase the skills and creativity across our schools. All are invited to enjoy a sponsored Granian Derby or spectate international sports, finishing the month with a night of live music and a firework finale! The camp team is excited to provide themed tents located in the London Stadium campgrounds.

Ride & Area Descriptions
OOC: There won't be individual threads for these, use them for your threads! Please do not godmod the malfunction of rides or negative treatment from carnival staff.
Campgrounds
Bordering the eastern exterior of the London Quidditch Stadium stand the campgrounds, a makeshift village of tents and winding paths. Residential lodging is loosely organized in a grid, marked by wooden signs shaped as arrows, guiding campers through the maze of multicolored fabrics. Clearly marked restroom and shower tents are scattered throughout. Posted on the edge of the grounds closest to the stadium, a massive circus tent serves as both a landmark and chow hall.Carnival Crew
Gragnok & Sons would more aptly be called Gragnok & His Entire Extended Family. What began with the vision of a Goblin engineer blossomed into a lucrative family business, consisting of arcane inventors, entertainers, and creative visionaries. The cast varies between Gragnok's Goblin relatives, part-Goblin descendants, and the odd human in-law. Similar to the carts of Gringott's underground tunnels, their rides are magically operated. The family has used magic to great effect in their designs.Food Court
Sweet and savory smells drift from the food court, permeating the fairgrounds with enticing aromas. From familiar treats like cotton candy and popcorn, to more magical variants like deep-fried flobberworm funnel cake and bloodpop coated candy apples, this square of stands offers something for every appetite. Meats roast over fire pits and fresh lemonade is served in jumbo memorabilia tankards.Rides
Occamy’s Flight - Similar to the dragon kiddie rides often seen at muggle fairs, this fifteen-foot coaster is composed of segmented, two-person carts that make up the body of an occamy. Feathers and scales of teal and turquoise decorate the exterior, complete with amethyst feathers on the centermost seats that fold or flap as it "flies". The Occamy's Flight shoots along a twisting rail. To simulate the creature's choranaptyxis (abiltiy to grow or shrink in order to fit available space), it carries riders through a series of scenes that give the illusion of getting larger and smaller. The occamy starts by rocketing out of a giant glass jar, then dives through the spout of an oversized teapot, shoots through a tunnel of kaleidoscopic lights, spirals around nests of silver eggs, executes several loops and dives similarly to an occamy's winding flight pattern. This is a high-speed coaster suitable for thrill chasers.
Amortunnel - Two riders board a luxurious gondola on a ten-minute water track. While these come in a variety of colors, each has a cushioned loveseat, an enchanted violin, and a glowing pink potion bottle as a bow ornament. These intermittently puff heart-shaped smoke rings. The ride sails through scarlet curtains and embarks on a "romantic" journey through four seasonal scenes. The tunnel starts with a spring morning: painted flower fields sprawl on either side of the stream, carrying the gondola through veils of weeping willow branches. Lovebirds chirp in the canopy as fragrant petals rain on the couple. The next curtain leads to a summer beach. Bioluminescent jellyfish bob by the boat, while pods of sea creature patroni swim in the "sky" overhead, bathing onlookers in serene light. This transitions into an autumn sunset scene, sailing into a grove of red and orange trees aglow under a golden sun. Tea candles drift by in the water while aggressively corny jack-o-lanterns dot the shore, lines like "TRUTH" "DARE" "CONFESS HERE" and "KISS CHECKPOINT" carved with the backlight of candles. The final curtain reveals a winter nightscape complete with snowfall, moonlight filtering through a synthetic pine forest, and a light chill to encourage cuddling. Glistening tree ornaments sparkle against an enchanted night sky. When the gondola arrives at a dock, riders must exit by walking up a red carpet towards what appears to be a white wedding chapel.
House of Horrors - Participants enter via a rocky cave and must travel through spooky scenes. Via set design and wizard space, they appear to first arrive in a dark forest with a narrow path. Fake dementors bob and swoop from overhead on invisible strings, while recordings of ferocious Grim howls (and the occasional scare actor) chase them towards the front of a dilapidated cabin. The door leads to a long hall lined with eerie paintings, mirrors that present a warped image of the viewer, and dark windows. As guests attempt to reach the other end, eerie shapes and sounds haunt them from outside. Disembodied whispers, ominous growls, sudden banging and loud shattering effects play to startle at random. The lights flicker or even go out for several seconds. Reaching the end of the hall causes a stairwell to drop from the ceiling, helpfully splattered with red paint reading "EXIT". This slams shut once climbed, trapping them in what looks like an acromantula infested attic. The walls are veiled entirely in thick web. Suspiciously person-shaped cocoons hang from the ceiling, some squirming wildly. Mechanical insects skitter across the floor while massive spiders lunge from the sidelines when passerby come too close. To reach the real exit door, participants must pass under the legs of a gigantic "sleeping" acromantula animatronic.
Ferris Wheel - A towering wheel which Gragnok claims "rivals the London Eye, only you can't tell with all the disillusionments on it". However tall it really is, riders at the top can certainly see the whole of the carnival and even into the Quidditch pitch. Its capsules come in different sizes, with seats to accommodate two, four, six or eight passengers.
Beast-go-Round - A fantastical two-story carousel composed of magic beasts both large and small. With oversized replicas of little creatures and mini versions of behemoths, each figure is enchanted to imitate lifelike (non-sentient) movement. They rise and fall via crankshafts on telescoping hinges. Jeweled harnesses, ornate saddles, and spiraling gold poles glitter under hundreds of colorful spark lights. As it spins, a steam calliope organ blares jaunty fair music across the grounds.
