Akihiko arrived on the pitch, holding his broom tightly in hand as he stared out at their newest opponents. He worked his jaw as he made his way to the bench, determined to win this game, despite the many factors working against him. He steadied himself, pulling on his usual grin and shook his head. Wasn’t Quidditch supposed to be fun?

He greeted his teammates before settling in near one of his tentmates this summer to watch the game.

Botan was ready. Quidditch was always the highlight of his summer camp and this year was no exception. He was flying with a new broom, a Moontrimmer, which was a downgrade from his silver arrow. While he wasn’t happy abount having to give up his beloved silver arrow, he was glad that he still had a better broom than his cousin, Akihiko.

Making his way onto the pitched, Botan let himself smile, something that rarely happened. He was ready. He wanted to help his team win.

The conditions were perfect. Clear sky, little wind. Amina slightly tilted her head as she gathered in the team's locker room, making sure her functional hairstyle was still in place. She had fixed it up in a neat tiny ponytail to have clear vision all the time. It was a wonderful day for the summer quidditch match.
Although she was as hyped and motivated as always when she was about to soar into the air and show off her skills, she also felt a slight stirring of sadness. First of all, this would be her last game with this amazing team that was more like her family by now. Second, this time she was missing two of her close friends. Slava and Johannes. In order to honour them and take them to the match regardless, Amina had crafted a red armband which she had wrapped around her right biceps. It clearly displayed the two names, Slava and Hanya. Johannes' name was stitched in golden letters and Slavas in glitter. Like this, she still felt them with her. While she was walking out on the pitch into the sun, Amina quickly reached out and touched the armband, almost to make sure it was still fixed over her Durmstrang uniform.
Pulling her lucky knee socks with the avocado patterns oder her pants, she was as ready as she could be.

As she heard the chanting, shouting and cheering of the audience outside, the sadness faded and made space for the electrifying anticipation. Beaming at the newer team mates, she offered Semyon, Arno, Boram and Kazimir a high five. Felix and Astrid would receive a blown kiss and a wink, before the red-head turned around to her captain, Valentin. She knew he would likely give his speech in just a second, but Amina didn’t want to wait that long.
Quickly, she would pull him into a hug and place a fleeting kiss on his cheek. ”It’s an honor to go to battle with you. Thank you for everything.” Briefly squeezing him, she would release him and step away to give him room to address the team. Her gaze was lingering on the seeker for a moment as she was fighting back another wave of sentiment. If anyone looked at her they would see the feelings she was struggling with. The sad goodbye.

But then again, all of this would wash away as soon as they actually were getting started. As soon as it was time to mount their brooms, all her feelings were consumed by pure energy and excitement. This was the moment she had been born for - with the most amazing team of all time. She was ready to take off with all of them and fly out of their locker room.
”LET’S GO!!!!!!” With that war-roar, Amina threw herself at Greta and Mad, squeezing them enthusiastically and giving both a kiss on the cheek if they allowed it. Then she pulled back and beamed at both of them, her cheeks slightly flushed and a sentimental glimmer in her green eyes, almost overwhelmed with emotions. ”Seriously, you are my favorite chaser team mates in the world. It’s our last game, let’s make it count. I love you guys.” she passionately declared, grabbed her oakshaft tighter, facing the other team and ready to take off. Hopefully, @Aaron Jones was out there, waiting for her and ready to cheer her on.

The rumble of the stadium filled the air as Jamie made her way to the bench that she had become quite familiar with last year. Another thing she had become quite familiar with was the team she was up against, once again it was Durmstrang.

The team that had completely obliterated her previous team last year, but this time round she was with a different team, she had also had more practice and had gotten some tips from one of their players, she was prepared to win.

Taking a spot on the bench Jamie kept her eyes out for Madhup, as she had enjoyed their little banter last time round and had prepared something for him. If she saw him Jamie would make eye contact, smile her ruthless smile and take out the handkerchief she had specially brought.

The handkerchief was blood red, a nod to Madhup mentioning their beaters polishing their bats with her previous teams blood, which she would use to polish her own bat ready to show the Durmstrang player the improvement she had made in the last year.

The loose ribbons in her hair flew slightly at the refreshing summer breeze. This is it and they were unbelievably screwed (lowk). She was slightly intimidated of course by the other team -- as anyone would be.

Kanae huffed slightly before gripping her broom -- a silverarrow gifted to her by her eldest brother. She'd grown somewhat attached to it now after... that incident with her twin.

No. She doesn't have time to sulk now.

She noticed there was a member of their team that wasn't from Mahoutokoro. Sure, the girl wasn't as familiar with them but they were a team now right? Raising her hand, she waved slightly to them with her signature smile. Kanae also saw Akihiko Takahashi near the benches and waved too with her smile. Would he notice that the facade was somewhat fake? No idea.

Another year, another game he was terrified off. And with each new game there seemed to be a new stress to dwell on. Unlike the mock battle they had before the Hogwart students, Sara looked half dead. Signs of fatigue barely concealed on his face, making him look like he was a second away from breaking someones broom out of frustration. His movements were a little sluggish and his eyes unfocused. From the exhaustion that followed. But at the very least, he had his talk with Miharu.

He briefly glances at Midori but didnt linger, only giving her a polite nod if she looked at him. It felt old seeing someone take Yami's usual quidditch spot just like that. Especially if that person looked so.. eerily familiar to him. He didn't want to get too distracted by the fact. This was his last game, and he agreed with Miharu not to spend the game mostly fearful and anxious.

There was also that.. new person from the other school. Sara felt for him. Playing with a whole new team you didn't recognise... at least personally for him, it was nerve wrecking. Deciding against giving them encouragement despite his want to do it. Last time he said good luck to anyone, they were ko-ed the next round.

Agata stood at the Quidditch Pitch, new broom in hand. She's been here numerous times before but never alone. She'd always had her school, her team mates with her. This time though, she was alone. Her school hadn't had enough people, and so she'd been split and given to the Japanese team. Which ironically, she found extremely funny. She knew her friend Beatrice had versed them in an unofficial game. And here Agata was playing and being friendly with them. Long hair braided, Castelo quidditch colours on, Moontrimmer in hand, Agata surveyed the pitch. They were versing Durmstrang. That left a sour note in her mouth. They had never left a good impression after the Hexwizard Tournament. She would do her best to crush them.

A little pressure was a good thing, from Sayaka's point of veiw. It fuelled and motivated you to excel more than any reward could. And the pressure was most certainly on today, with one of the very reasons she had attended summer camp occurring- the summer quidditch games. Their opposition promised no easy game either, as they faced off against Durmstrang and Koldovstoretz. The second school she hadn't heard much about, but the first was practically a quidditch legend. She had no doubt that her team would put at the very least a fierce fight though. Today she played her beloved position as chaser, although it would be from the bench. Normally it would've irritated her, but this was no backyard game. She was the youngest of the team, and it made sense to have their strongest players out on the field first.

Screaming from the opposition (@Amina Petrovic) made her pause, looking over to make sure that nothing was wrong. It was certainly not her style to be so loud before a game. Personally she had always viewed it as pointless and distracting. The Durmstrang-Koldovstoretz team was welcome to distract themselves as much as they liked however. She greeted her teammates as she passed, giving each person she passed a nod. Taking a seat beside her tentmate @Akihko Takahashi and another girl (@Jamie Carville) on the bench, she greeted them with a "Ready to give them a show?". Even the normally cold girl could not resist the competitive spirit of the promise of quidditch.
