It was time to quaffle grab. While Lavinia was still sharing a broom with Quinn, the two of them were still able to manage every single grab from under Meyra's nose. It exhilarated Lavinia to be back in fight for points and have some competition. Granted, the competition mainly came because it was two of them on a broom compared to just one. Regardless, she was so thrilled to be in this position in a game. They were dominating Gryffindor, taking out their big name players, and not even giving them a chance to score. Lavinia was so proud of her team that she was captaining and of all the strategies they had prepared.

Now it was time to try and seal the deal or at least make it clear that Gryffindor couldn't win this game. Lavinia was ready and so excited to make this happen. It was about time they had another great win.

Another broom lost to the horrible, unrelenting tide of war. Were they all no more than animals? This was truly the darkest timeline. Bex made a mental note to tie Jorah’s shoes together in the locker room.

They were winning, at least, though she supposed that could always change where Quidditch was concerned. The game wasn’t over ‘til the snitch was caught, and all that. Still, Gryffindor would likely have to pull off a miracle to recover from this one.

Jorah's stomach grumbled. This match had gone on long enough and Jorah was starting to get hungry. He wondered what the Great Hall would be serving. A crispy chicken sandwich, perhaps? Before he could eat, they would have to finish this game. With the goal of bringing the match to a conclusion as quickly as possible, Jorah sent a bludger flying knocking out three players and breaking two brooms in the process. What a beast!

In the role of Beater, if you hit an opponent with a bludger the bludger will then ricochet off that user and target a second opponent of choice (must be declared, if not declared the target will be random and can be an ally but not yourself).
In the role of Beater, if an ALLY dodges a bludger during the round, there is a 20% chance that you catch that bludger with your bat and you send it at a RANDOM enemy target.

Note: For the rules lawyers out there: you are not considered your own ally.
In the role of Beater, if you critically hit with a bludger, instead of doing double-damage you do 2.5x damage. If you critically fail with your bludger attempt to hit, rather than having your bludger randomly target another user (including yourself or an ally) the bludger cannot target you on a critical fail (but it can still target your allies). On a re-target, there is a random roll for target and then a fresh accuracy roll.

Quinn quickly manuevered through the people to grab the quaffle and score. That must have been the first time she had scored! It felt glorious, even though she had someone helping her on her broom she still had scored something! Quinn squeeled with glee before putting her head back into the game. Wait-one of her teamates was diving! Had she caught the snitch? But no it was just a feint and the other team was now confused.

The match was yet stretching on. It sadly is a one-sided match and yet, the lions remained resilient.

The pain pulsing through my body was nothing compared to the regret I had for not dodging better. It was, after all, my very first match on the field, and truly was a long and tough battle indeed. I don't think I should hold on to these regrets, but for now, I will.

My head throbbed, and yet my eyes were fixated on the match. Our seeker needs to find the snitch and find it quick..... only then will the bleak glimmer of victory truly ignite.

It was raining cats! ... Well, lions, that was. Player after player was beat out of the sky, causing Winnie to wince. Had Jorah really taken out three in one? Was that a new record for him? The guy was terrifying, Winnie was glad he was on their side. It looked like Gryffindor had a pretty bulky Keeper coming onto the field now, one she would have recognized if her memories weren't as scrambled as a breakfast egg.

CHASERS

It was clear both teams were getting tired as the number of Gryffindors in the skies dwindled and the Ravenclaws slowed their pace. Winnie and Quinn seemed to be taking a break, Lavinia forced to come along despite seeming to have quite a competitive drive. Andy would be the only one of the Ravenclaws to contest when Nicholas joined the rest in the air and immediately went for the quaffle, but he would do a good job of it despite the years difference. Nic still warming up to being off the bench, Andy would make the first move with a clean quaffle grab followed by an off-handed toss through the hoops as the Keepers both went to play Chaser. The Gryffindor would work quick to recover those points, deftly keeping the quaffle from the Ravenclaw's grasp as the ball flew through the hoops twice more. Yet while Nicholas appeared to have the upper hand in this show of skill and keep away, Andy was far more nimble and quick as he managed to snatch away the quaffle for the final twenty points of the round. "And that's another 30 points for Ravenclaw and 20 for Gryffindor!"

Aodhan finally realized the stunt pulled by Aly and knew now that he would have rely on his own sight than get some hints from the Ravenclaw. Unfortunately this notion would steer him the wrong way this time as Aly returned back to the chase, following the golden snitch above before sharply descending to reach maximum velocity and catch up to the snitch. Hand outstretched, the Ravenclaw rocketed to the ground before clasping her hand around her prize. Aodhan, looking in the opposite direction, would see no glimpse of gold until it was announced. "And Aly has caught the snitch! That signals the end of this game-"

Yet while Aly was busy ending the match, Jorah continued his work ending some of the Gryffindor's flying. His targets were the ones causing trouble- in this case Nicholas and Aodhan as Meyra glanced between the two in preparation for any aid or saving they might need. Nicholas would be first as the bludger rocketed towards him with little chance to escape- yet unlike so many before him, Nic could take such a hit. It was a near loss of consciousness but somehow he continued to hang on as the bludger propelled itself towards its next victim. Aodhan would also learn of the power and precision behind Jorah's strikes, a heavy crack as broken broom and Seeker fell with little for Meyra to do as they plummeted down. A rogue bludger would also head towards Nicholas once more, perhaps hoping to finish the job, but instead rushed by as it missed its target. And as the others watched on, the match winded to a close.
