Castelobruxo International Capture the Flag Information Post CICTF

As an end to another school year, the highly anticipated game of Capture the Flag is held at Castelobruxo, this time, Headmaster Peralta and his esteemed staff are inviting students from international schools to participate and engage in South American culture. From June 25th to June 28th, international students will be able to visit Castelobruxo to participate in Capture the Flag. Students will be divided into teams of 8 and compete against each other, the surrounding jungle serving as the arena. Each team will agree on a hiding spot for their flag and strategize to find and capture the opposing teams’ flags before bringing them back to their own base. Winning teams will have a chance to earn prizes.

Late May/Early June:

Sunday, June 21st, 2026:
- The threads for the Fluffy Encounters errand will be posted. Errand sign-ups

Thursday, June 25, 2026 (arrival day)
- Welcoming feast thread: Late afternoon in the outside pavilion. Everyone will gather to enjoy a welcoming feast together on the evening of arrival. Fire dancers, with live music will dance around the tables and entertain the guests during the meal. Thread here.
- Malocas will be assigned (IC). Those who signed up for Malocas will be allowed to RP in their Malocas in their own threads.

Friday, June 26, 2026 (Game day)
- Capture the Flag games: In the jungle arena, the students will be divided into teams of 8 and compete against each other in a game of Capture the Flag.

Saturday, June 27, 2026 (Leisure day)
- Fluffy Encounters (Errand): Morning. A Castelobruxo student will hold a guided introduction to the school’s resident alpacas, llamas, and guinea pigs, with students invited to help feed and interact with them. Thread here.
- Visit Vila do Mato by cablecar: Midday and Afternoon. Students may depart from the Castelobruxo cable car station to visit the nearby jungle village on an unsupervised outing. Vila do Mato offers shopping, wildlife encounters, and dining opportunities, among other attractions. From there, students may explore the other stations accessible through the cable car system. Sunday, june 28, 2026 (last day)
- No thread: Students return home to their respective schools via escorted river passage, followed by Portkey transport once beyond Castelobruxo grounds.

Individual threads at Castelobruxo during these times are also allowed and encouraged. Please just make sure you don't write your character as being in two places at once!
