Commentary: Well, this year has been a wild year for writing! I feel as though I have grown so much, and I’m so grateful for everyone who has directly or indirectly contributed to my growth. This site has truly inspired me so many times over again, and I have had a blast writing with each and every one of my thread partners. I’m so happy to be where I am today in terms of my writing, my friends, and my contributions to each and every corner of h.io that I have desperately wanted to be a part of and make my mark. Thank you all for the wonderful year of writing that I have made, and here’s to many more!

Commentary: I learned how to find better PNGs on Pinterest last night so I really feel optimistic for 2026. However, what was cool about 2025 was it was the year I felt confident enough to open a shop! I'm really grateful for people supporting my whimsies, and I feel like having to work with totally different aesthetics has really helped me grow as an artist!

Commentary: I feel like my latest post is kind of horrible since Cyrus is really hard for me to write. However, that first post as Koko was what I thought was some of my best writing at the time, and comparing it to my more recent post from chasing embers...? It doesn't even compare. I think getting to write Livia, and having the privilege to write with so many new friends, has really pushed my writing to the next level. Ty to all of you, and here's to another year of writing!

Commentary: There is a large difference between my March banner skills and my current ones. My latest ones haven't been anything too special, but they've definitely improved! My favourites have always been the Jarden banners because of how I can layer the elements to the point where you cant tell where one thing begins or ends. Which can be both a good and horrid thing depending on how you see it

Commentary: ...I like to think my writing has gotten sagnificantly better. Or at least better in some aspects. It's been quite the journey, I'd say. Graci is so very different than she was at the beginning, and for that, I'm grateful. It's been a wonderful experience, one I hope will continue for at least a few more years<3

Commentary: I’d just like to say that my writing has developed a lot since January fourth. I’ve learned to use my resources and lengthening my responses. I’m pretty sure the last few posts I’ve written have been at least six hundred to thousand words, and I’m pretty proud. Pinterest had also been such a outrageous help, as there’s so many users who post on Pinterest their tips on writing a difficult character and other challenging parts of writing, and furthermore, it’s just been such an aid as I’m writing more. I used to get writer’s block a lot and hold off my replies til they get locked (oops!), and now I try to get a reply to a thread at least twice a month. To go on, I used to be a pretty wimpy and crumpy writer and now I’ve became this writer who now knows the voice of her characters (well perhaps not Peter just yet lol) and who knows how to make her writing just a tad more interesting. Of course I know I’m not the best writer in the world (not even close!) yet it’s getting better. I’ve also learned how to branch out my vocabulary, and to glance over at my writing before I send it as my English teacher has recently recommended me to read my sentences backwards to make sure all my words make sense. And it sorta works as I’m still learning the ropes. I’d like to thank the writers on this site who I’ve had the utmost pleasure of writing with and mostly everyone else who I’ve read their amazing threads, encouraging me to work harder on me and on my own writing. I’m grateful for yet another year to work and develop on my writing. Thank you to all of you for this year for writing that had it’s own ups and down and I hope I have multitudinous more years on this site and elsewhere!! oh um haha this is a lot of words.

let's not look at how this is three months late, totally wasn't sitting around in my drafts

banners — favourite(s) commentary | I love this three-panel style with all my heart. Previously I would spend hours browsing pinterest for suitable pngs, then spend another few moving them around to try to lay them out. Now I don't have to (at least not as much, haha) and the result is much better than before, in my opinion. Quite proud of what I've learnt this year in graphic designing overall.

commentary | I feel like, during the past year, the main difference in my writing is discovering how to write my characters better (especially iNPC Clément). When I first wrote Clément he had basically nothing except a flimsy backstory. Now I think I've successfully given him a unique voice and have grown so much more attached to him. However I do still find I'm often unsatisfied with my writing -- there is definitely much room for improvement.
