BACKRGOUND﹒With a thick jacket wrapped around him, Hunter walked through the stormy night, beaten by the cold and strong wind. He had just left his brother's house, leaving his son behind. He knew his father wouldn't approve of his relationship with a woman of a different social class. Unlike his rich, upper-class English family from the early 1900s, Steven was the black sheep in the family. His family prioritized protecting their family name, and Steven had enough. Once given the opportunity, he seized it, left his cold house, and never looked back.

He loved his son dearly, but he knew he had to do what was best for him. Unable to stop crying, Steven sobbed while holding his brother's son. He would give the love, support, and guidance for his nephew that Hunter would have wanted. He will raise him as his own. His nephew needed him, so even though he knew it wouldn't be easy, he couldn't give up now.

Named after his uncle Steven, Ethan was a beautiful, strong young man who resembled his father. Despite his uncle's private family life, Ethan was thankful to his father figure, Uncle Steven, who had been there for him when he needed it most.

Melinda, a teacher at the public school, happened to cross the path of Steven, who was searching for a private tutor for his nephew. Two years after falling in love, they were married. Despite not having a kid yet, Ethan was nonetheless seen as their son. In the mountains, far from the bustle of the city, they led happy lives in their small cottege.

FIRST INSTANCE OF MAGIC﹒On a sunny day, the leaves on the tree were flapping like the wings of a happy bird while Ethan was intensely focused on a round, black-and-white ball on the ground. This was the young wizard's first day playing soccer, a game his uncle's muggle wife introduced him to. Aunt Melinda had taught him the basics of kicking a ball. Ethan inhaled a deep breath and swung his foot at the ball with all his might. Much to his surprise, it floated in the air and didn't even budge an inch. His uncle Steven wasn't surprised, though. He knew Ethan was a wizard like him.
