"Physical Description"
Robin has grey eyes and black shoulder-length hair that is usually tied into a small ponytail. In his first two years, he wears black framed rectangle glasses and adjusts it frequently out of habit. His nose is hooked and he only smiles when excited or genuinely laughing; these features make him look a little meaner to the other kids his age. During year two, Robin is 161 centimeters tall and of average weight, but he has rather poor physical strength due to his lack of enthusiasm for sports and spending most of his free time indoors. Seeing as he grew faster than most boys, Robin's parents worry that he would also stop growing earlier and end up short. He personally does not care that much either way though.

"Mental Description"

Some may describe Robin as self-centered, and they are not entirely wrong. He prioritizes his own needs and wants, often helping people for reasons other than pure kindness. However, he does still care about his friends and family, just less outwardly affectionate. Another way to phrase this is that the boy saves his genuine care for significant people. They take up all his energy, so strangers and mere acquaintances are reduced to just background characters in his story.
Robin is strangely both imaginative and practical. The practical side is quite straight forward; as stated above he conserves his social battery for limited people, and he prefers to do things efficiently. Regarding the imaginative side, Robin often thinks far into the future and lives an adventurous life inside his head. The boy plans ahead for most things, and even has a detailed life plan outlined in his mental notes. Curiosity is another core trait; Robin gets very invested in random things that pique his interest. During these phases you can find him spending a whole day sitting down and doing extensive research on the topic.
Being a quiet boy is normal. Being an introvert is normal. Being less sensitive to the misfortunes of others . . . maybe a potential cause of concern. Robin argues that his indifference stems from not being familiar with the unfortunate soul, but subconsciously he harbors a disgust towards his occasionally severe passivity. His understanding of the society he lives in tells him that indifference is unideal, wrong, even. His survival instinct encourages him to listen to that idea. Robin tries to involve himself in social environments when it is not too unbearable; he tries mastering the expression and interpretation of social cues to avoid misunderstandings and awkwardness; he seeks to experience and understand various human emotions to properly empathize with those he cares about. He still has many chapters ahead of him on that.

𓁹 "Biography" 𓁹
Robin's parents, a muggle-born wizard and a pure-blood witch from England, lived together in Inverness, Scotland after graduating Hogwarts. They are both magizoologists, but his mother studies in nature and his father prefers to be in a lab. Robin's parents share details of their work with him, also educating him on the basics of the wizarding world. Hearing so many stories about his parents' time at Hogwarts, Robin looked forward to attending the academy since a very young age.
However, they might have overdone some parts of the narration; Robin is a curious soul, but he does not, or rather "no longer" holds a passion for magical creatures due to his parents' constant oversharing. Judging by his parents' knowledge on the subject, Robin got the impression that magical creatures are plain and simple, boring, even. Instead, he puts his effort into reading about subjects that are shrouded in mystery—like the dark arts or ancient runes. In short, he is interested in the questions his parents cannot answer, and would hope to discover those answers himself one day. To devour knowledge . . . that is his ultimate goal in life.
Financially, his family is quite comfortable, so he always had the means to explore his interests by purchasing an extensive amount of books, whether fiction or educational. This gave him the opportunity to become friends with the more "nerdy" kids in his neighborhood, whom he shares book recommendations and plays games (Exploding Snap and Wizard's Chess) with. One such friend, later his only friend, is Noah Kelly. Their mothers quickly became friends after the Kellys moved into their neighborhood, prompting the children to talk to each other in small parties. Robin and Noah, both reluctant to socialize, eventually realized their shared interests and became good friends. After Noah's little brother Neil could crawl and use single words, they became a group of three.

"Familial History"
"Paternal"

Robin's father Jeremy came from a muggle family. His parents were both veterinarians, and they had no idea that magic existed until Jeremy had his FIOM. They initially thought that Hogwarts was a scam, but after seeing more demonstrations of magic, combined with Jeremy's excitement, they finally agreed to send him away. The Locketts have a close relationship with each other, even after Jeremy moved with Myrcelle to Scotland. Jeremy's parents had always wanted to visit Scotland but were too busy, and they finally got the chance to right about when Robin was born. Arthur and Emma Lockett were close with their son's new family, often visiting their house in Inverness after retiring. And yes, Robin's middle name was named after his grandfather, but he only hears his full name when in trouble or cursing himself due to stupid things he did. And of course legal documents. He also never introduces himself as "Robin Arthur Lockett", so some people, no matter how close they are, might not even know he had a middle name, ever.
"Maternal"

On the other hand, Robin's mother came from a rather long line of pure-blood wizards. The Nightingale family had been around for centuries, with most members being researchers of various disciplines. In recent years, they have been focusing on either charms or magical history, including Myrcelle's parents. The Nightingale family was not exactly fond of Myrcelle's passion for magical creatures. It might have been fine if she decided to pursue the academic side of it like her family, but she had always been an outdoorsy person and often came home with dirt and leaves hanging on her fine clothes. After meeting Jeremy in Hogwarts, she was even more determined to follow her dream against all odds. After graduating and marrying Jeremy almost immediately, she moved with him to Scotland, where magical creatures roam the vast forests of the highlands. Her relationship with the Nightingale family hit the bottom when they heard about her decision, but it somewhat recovered after Robin was born. When he started showing interest in academia, the Nightingale family was thrilled and offered to pay any expense related to his studies. Myrcelle was reluctant to accept, as she felt like this would create a cage trapping her son in a mould ideal to the Nightingale family. They were also quite well-off themselves, so there was no immediate need to be granted financial support. She currently only allows the family to send individual gifts on special occasions, like Robin's birthday or when he got his invitation to Hogwarts.
"First Instance of Magic"
When Robin was eight, he went hiking with his mother and got distracted by animal tracks. They were separated for about five minutes, but during this short period of time, Robin found himself facing a red deer. It was not particularly hostile, just silently standing in front of him, but he was nonetheless frightened by its size and sharp antlers. As a relatively quiet child, Robin usually gets even more quiet when nervous or scared. This time, however, his voice boomed as he muttered "Go away", startling the deer and causing it to disappear into the depths of the forest. The amplified volume of his cry was also how his mother found him shortly after. Ever since, Robin developed a fear of deer with big antlers, and in some instances antlers themselves.

| "Mirror of Erised" Robin sits in an endless sea of books, tirelessly writing on ever-extending parchment, eyes shining of genuine enthusiasm. Nobody disturbs this moment of peace where he is hidden from the world's scrutinizing gaze. | — | "Boggart" A large Scottish red deer stares straight, unblinking, at Robin. The monstrosity is accompanied by a colony of floating eyeballs seemingly about to surround him any second. |
|
— "Amortentia" ♡ [new books] [fresh laundry] [black tea] ♡ — A mixture of relaxation and stimulation—Robin is simultaneously drawn towards the ideas of comforting normalcy and extraordinary achievement. These conflicting desires are not easily met, but if he senses the chance that they could both be satisfied, he will be helplessly drawn towards that possibility. | — |
— — — — "I'm not sure what 'type of person' I'd like. Someone comfortable to be around, I suppose. Someone I can turn to if things go wrong, someone comforting in their own way. Or maybe . . . someone equally ambitious so we'd each be more motivated towards our own goals? Perhaps a mixture of both." |

"Wand"

21.8 cm aspen wood and unicorn hair. Fairly flexible, perfect for fighting spells and intended for accomplished duelists. ...i believe that the wand chooses its owner, but still, this is quite surprising. a duelist, eh? maybe i should try it out...
