Alma Stoll has medium length light-brown hair with blunt bangs covering her forehead. She has a heart-shaped face with an upturned nose, and light green eyes. Standing at 4’10”, she has a strong but slim build with a perfect set of teeth; a result of a pair of braces she got at seven years old.

A very sweet kid, Alma’s always done her best to make the people she’s met smile. Call her naive but she trusts almost anyone and everyone she meets until they’re proven untrustworthy. She’s an open book, really, and you can figure her out quite easily by the heart she wears on her sleeve.
She’s quite smart. Pouring herself into school and studies at an early age paid off as she’s grown into someone of remarkable intelligence. This, of course, is said in the sense of what people call ‘book smart.’ When common sense comes into play, she lacks the ability to understand simple social cues and tasks when thrown into a stressful situation. It’s something she’s still working on.
Like everyone though, Alma has some faults. She severely lacks self-confidence, she gets attached too easily, and her anxiety is severe. It’s sometimes laughable how awkward she can become in odd or new environments; she often finds herself rambling and spewing her entire thought process to those who have the displeasure of listening. However, when she familiarizes herself with a person, she can be quite enjoyable company.

Alma was born to Mairi and Scott Stoll on October 14, 2010. Growing up, she had it quite good - her family lived in a lower middle-class neighborhood where her parents fed, sheltered, and loved her dearly. But, not every family can be perfect. Her mother and father have had a rift between the two of them since before she was even born. Ever since her dad had found out that Mairi was a witch, he seemed to have grown distant. They would have divorced if it weren’t for her mother telling him that she was pregnant.
They stayed together for the sake of their daughter, and named her Alma Ruth. They loved her more than anything - each other, not so much. They would argue and bicker about little things, thinking their daughter wouldn’t notice the rift. Unfortunately, childlike ignorance only lasted so long. Alma was well-aware of the indefinite dispute between her two parents. It only became worse when Alma’s first instance of magic came.
They went to a nearby park after her eighth birthday party. Alma had been excited all day to try out one of her new birthday presents - a brand new bicycle. She had heard them arguing in the background all night - little bickers and quips here and there, but she learned to block it out. She grabbed the blue bicycle and walked calmly to a smooth patch of concrete to try it out. However, her parents were too busy trying to gain the upper hand in their small dispute to even pay attention to their daughter. She stood still and silent, just watching them for a quick second. She listened, just for a second, and heard her father say some upsetting things - I won’t let her become like…like you!I don’t even know why we’re still talking about this. You don’t know what’s best for her!
She turned back and gripped the handlebars tightly. Why were they doing this? On her birthday of all days? Before she even knew it, the bike was reeling forward and it slammed into a nearby tree with such force it broke. Of course, this snapped her parents out of their argumentative haze and they rushed towards her to offer some comfort. She, however, just marveled at the broken mess that had become of her bike and wondered how in the world it happened.

"Friends are people that know all about you and still love you."

☕︎︎ Finnegan Conner, "Chocolate Frog Enthusiast" Good friend, an absolute joy to be around, and fantastic out on the pitch! It seems he has a strange distaste for werewolves...hope I can change his mind. He's got a really good hand in sketching!
☕︎︎ Avery McCall, "Quidditch Confidante" Dorm mate, awesome Quidditch player, and the only other first-year on the team! She's been great to me ever since we practiced together! She looked absolutely stunning at the ball, I loved helping her get ready. I'm sure we'll spend time together again soon!
☕︎︎ George Henry, "Like an Older Brother" An awesome coach, and quite funny when he's not being over-the-top sarcastic. Although I'll never forgive him for not cheering for me at my first game, (just joking, love ya Finn), I hope we hang out again!
☕︎︎ Colin McCoire, "Pencil Boy" Although a little strange, I admire Colin's enthusiasm and positive attitude towards nearly everything. He stumbled crying into my train car with Finn and Maggie, and I'd say he's pretty lucky I got him out of there quickly because I could already hear the snicker coming from Mags.
☕︎︎ Jack Ace, "Dr. Moreau" Stumbled into each other and I helped him find a book he was looking for. His face kept going red and he kept stuttering over his words. Can't say I was much better off...hope we get to spend some more time together, he's pretty special.
☂︎︎ Regina Miller, "Terrifying Third-Year" Quite scary and rather rude..although I'm starting to see a soft spot somewhere. I'm just glad she didn't let me fall to my death.
☂︎︎ Clark William-Baird Carter, "Tuna Sandwich" Not quite fond of him, but I definitely wouldn't consider him my "enemy". Making me vomit in the girls dorm didn't leave the best impression, though.
☂︎︎ Maggie Hawkins, "Teenage Dirtbag" She's got a hilarious sense of humor, but she's oddly intimidating. Although I admire her bold attitude.
STAFF Magdalena Wickham-Deakin, "Mom-dalena" The most wonderful Head of House ever! (Although really scary)
