Akina stared around the room, recognizing, Estelle, and...oh no...Madi was here too?! Oh my gosh, I really hope the bottle doesn't land on her, Akina thought, terrified. Akina determinedly stared everywhere but her. The room had a mat full of blues, purples, and pinks with three butterflies flitting across the scene. Akina gazed at it for a bit before turning away.
Why, oh why, did I sign up to do this?! she scolded herself. And what if it landed on a girl? That would surely be awkward. But even if it were a boy, it would still be awkward. Akina literally had never spoken to a boy in Hogwarts before. And she was already a second year? Wait...are you suggesting- Akina shoved the thought out of the way before it finished.
Akina watched the game continue until a girl named Maila spun the bottle.
Which landed on her.
Before Akina even knew what was happening, the girl placed a kiss on the back of Akina's hand. Akina felt something shoot through her arm. Not a happy feeling, but just a tingly, indescribable one. Akina felt her face heat up, knowing that Madi was certainly going to call her a baby for reacting like this.

EXPLANATION

›Students are separated into small randomized groups (8-ish per group) for ease of moderation and to limit the chaos of mass threads. There are 2 kinds of groups, Y1-Y3 and Y4-Y7.
›Each round, students will (ICly) take turns spinning a bottle to determine a partner (determined by me OOCly with randomized rolls).
›Round A: Players will have 1 week to RP their character's action. God modding is NOT allowed. There are 2 actions to choose from: kiss/retreat. Selecting 'kiss' means you kiss your partner on the lips, cheek, or hand. If you kiss, you obtain 3 good beans. If you retreat, you get a random roll by me to see if you obtain 1 good bean or 1 bad bean. Bad beans count for nothing, you just got bad luck. Good beans are saved until the very end of the game, where numerous prizes are revealed that you can choose to purchase with your good beans. Please keep track of how many good beans you have at the bottom of your post. If you forget to do so, it's fine, I can figure it out at the end.
›Round B: Once players RP their character's action towards their partner (it's always the first name listed), targeted students will then choose whether to accept the kiss or retreat. Remember, the point of the game is to get as many beans as you can! But if you retreat, you will also have a chance to obtain beans too. If your partner doesn't post in time, you will automatically get 1 good bean, so you don't feel like you're missing out on the fun. If your partner asks to kiss and you retreat, both of you are considered to have retreated and a roll will be done for your bean.
›Round A and B repeat in this way with a newly randomized assigned targets. Students will always have one week to submit their posts.
›Failure to post by a round's deadline will result in the assumption that the character froze up and declined to continue. They will be removed from the game. You can always rejoin though!
›All IC rules still apply and IC consequences are possible depending on the situation. Site rules and rating will also always apply. All actions/descriptions must comply with them.
›Prizes will be announced at the end of the game.Reducio›OOC End Date will be September 1st, 2023. This is when the game will OOC officially end.There will be 10 different things to choose from, which will be revealed 1 by 1 later on. I will start a Prize Thread after the game is over and will reveal the lowest rank one first (along with how many of that item I have). You will post in the Prize Thread stating that you want the item up for 'bid' if you wish to obtain it. You will have 7 days to post stating that you want it. I will assign the item a # and then will do rolls for the people who posted they wanted it. Whoever is closest to the # of the item will win the item! If there is more than 1, I will reassign a # and do rolls again for each one until all of them are gone. If someone gets the same #, I will reroll to establish a winner. If no one posts stating they want the item, I will move on to the next item.
The first item revealed is the lowest/cheapest and the last item revealed is the highest/expensive. But IC I think all the items would be fun to use in RPs, so don't just wait for the highest/expensive item to show up! Plus, what you get depends upon how many beans you have too. If you only have 7 beans (from never kissing and always retreating) you won't be able to purchase the highest rank item. So, get as many good beans as you can, so you will have lots of options to choose from! The highest amount of beans you can obtain is 21. Also, don't worry if you end up not winning any of the 10 prizes offered. If you don't win anything, you will be given an unknown consolation prize at the end, which you can either use/keep or sell for $.
Any beans left over after you win prizes can be exchanged for the item I am giving out as a consolation prize for those who don't win anything. The currency rate is 3 beans = 1 consolation prize item. Unfortunately, if you have less than 3 beans after claiming prizes, you won't be able to get anything extra. Thank you for participating in the game and I hope you enjoy your time!
┏ The game had begun! What a game it was going to turn out to be! The first pair, Aurora and Alyssea, were off to a good start as Aurora chose to kiss the hand of her partner. Alyssea accepted it and the two became the first couple to obtain 3 good beans. Simple! They knew how to play the game and Tone was looking forward to seeing their future actions with others.
The second pair, Estelle and Madi were the second to pass the round, just like the first pair. Estelle looked a little nervous or was that embarrassment? But she went over to peck her partner on the cheek. Madi also seemed a little embarrassed by the action. However, the two understood the nature of the game. It was a game, where you did things to obtain beans to turn in for a potential prize at the end of the final round. Fun, right?
It wasn't supposed to be anything serious! Both of them obtained 3 good beans for their efforts, hopefully this would continue like this!
The third pair, Zophyr and Amaris were an interesting couple. Zophyr didn't seem to be nervous at all and walked up to Amaris to ask for a kiss on the hand. Amaris would agree to it and the two would become the third one to pass the round with 3 good beans. Would this become a trend? Would all the pairs pass the round successfully and take the max amount of good beans?
The fourth pair, Maila and Akina also managed to grab 3 good beans each as Maila went for a kiss on the hand, showing no signs of nervousness at all. Whereas, Akina accepted her action but at the same time he cheeks heated up in the process. Whether it was because of the heat of summer or the situation she was faced with remained to be seen. Only Akina would know.
The fifth pair, Alaric and Kiana were the final pair of the round and they finished things off by making all of their group members pass the round with the max amount of good beans they could possibly obtain. Getting 3 good beans themselves, Alaric would go in for the kill, a kiss on the lips. Most daring! No one so far had done this, so it was bound to make people gossip! Kiana was quite daring herself as she leaned in to meet Alaric's lips too.
And so, the first round ended. But more was yet to come...

Everyone accepted their kisses which, for Alyssea, was both an excitement and a bummer. Everyone got the same amount of good beans to start, so nobody was in the lead. A few people looked nervous for their kiss, which included Alyssea though she did her best not to show it too much.july 11th 2023; interacting with group 4 members, mentioning @Kim Sato
What did catch her squealing in excitement was one of the boy's bold move to kiss their partner, a girl, on the lips. Even better when the girl responded the same. As she watched it unfold, all Alyssea could think about was, did they know each other? Did they already have a relationship?
This time, Alyssea was the one to spin the bottle. She took a deep breath and spun it, watching it slowly come to an end at Amaris. Okay, this was fine. Alyssea had met Amaris before at the Fourth of July celebration, so this was no stranger.
Alyssea smiled and took Amaris' hand. She still didn't have the confidence to give someone a kiss anywhere near their face. Would that change as the game went on? Perhaps. It might cause some gossip considering how young they were, but she continued anyway.

The bottle was spun once more - again by Zophyr himself - and in landed pointing at another girl (unsurprisingly, since they were almost all girls). This one had wavy red hair, light skin and lots of freckles. Zophyr considered kissing her on the hand, but... well, things were getting a little boring. Lots of people - too many people - were choosing to kiss people on the hand, so... he decided to go with the cheek. Not that it meant anything, just that things were getting boring.
He got up and walked over to the girl, offering her his hand. "My name is Zophyr, and I am from Uagadou. Who are you?" After listening to the response, he asked, "May I kiss you on the cheek?" If the girl accepted, he would give her a quick peck on the cheek before sitting back down at his seat, a quiet smile on his face but no apparent embarrassment visible. If she did not, he would nod respectfully, wish her a good day, and go sit down. Either way, he didn't mind.

Estelle smiled nervously as the bottle was spun once more. She was glad that Madi hadn't freaked out about the kiss and was sure it wouldn't be a problem for their friendship.
Estelle began to worry about who the bottle would land on next. She only knew a few people here and the odds were that she wouldn't land on any of them.
If it was someone she didn't know, she would only kiss them on the hand. She might do more at a later round, but right now that is what she felt comfortable with.
The bottle began to slow down, finally stopping on a girl with long, purple hair and icy blue eyes. Estelle had never talked to her before.
Estelle took a deep breath, feeling more confident than she had thought she would feel. After all, things are only awkward if you make them awkward and Estelle was determined not to make them awkward.
Estelle stood up, walking across the beautiful mat, a swirl of pinks and purples that Estelle wished she had, and up to Kiana.
"Hi - I'm Estelle..
Es listened as the other girl replied.
"May I kiss you on the hand?"

Alaric carried on in the game, watching as there was more kisses. It was soon his turn to spin again and he did so, remembering the sweet kiss that he had gotten last round. He sent a look at his previous kissing partner and smirked before taking ahold of the bottle and giving it a mighty spin.
He watched as it turned and turned until it couldn’t turn any more! Eventually it did and Alaric thought hard about cursing out the universes when the bottle landed on the one and only Malia. Alaric swallowed and held back his nervous face as he kept toward the Finish girl. Oh, how he wished to plant a kiss on those lips. He had been waiting years to do this, or to just show how much he cared about her in general to be honest.
Alaric looked at her and smiled coyly, getting closer to her and kneeling down in front of the girl. He gently took her hand and cupped her cheek with his other hand, he leaned in, ready to give her a kiss on the hand. He stopped when he was near her lips and instead turned to whisper in her ear. "Friends do not kiss each other on the lips," and gently brought up her hand, giving a soft yet quick kiss to her hand. He did linger a little but soon pulled away. "Who turn next?" he asked, resisting everything to not look at the other girl.
It killed him not to finally plant a kiss on her lips. To finally kiss her properly like he has been trying to do for a couple years. However, like he had said, friends don’t kiss each other in the lips? Especially not romantically, and, well, Maila and Alaric are just friends are they not?

Madi watched as others spun the bottle. Everyone kissed the person they landed on, which Madi was a little surprised about. She hadn't been paying much attention until she saw Akina Briarwood pick up the bottle. Not me. Madi thought. Please, don't land on me. Akina was the rudest, most judgemental, annoying, and awful person Madi had met yet at Hogwarts. She was not exaggerating.
She spun it, but not hard enough. It landed on Madi. No! She thought. Out of all these people, it had to land on Madi.
This wasn't a silly kid rivalry, Madi had hated her from the first sentence Akina spoke to her. Maybe she was being a little dramatic, but she really did not like Akina, and she knew that Akina felt the same way about her.
Akina leaned over and kissed Madi on the hand. Well, it wasn't really a kiss (which was definitely a good thing), but it counted in the game. Madi saw Akina act like nothing happened. Right. No one knew that they despised each other. But Madi buried her head in her knees. She knew this was a game, but she'd never have signed up to play if she knew that Akina would land on her.

Akina didn't seem to mind the kiss on the hand too much and Maila send her a bright smile before turning back to the bottle and watching all the other actions and kisses in the making. It was quite amusing to watch everyone's reactions to their fellow players actions to say the truth. The second round came and when it was Alaric's turn, Maila watched him extra closely. Her friend was quite the flirt. Since the bottle had not yet landed on her, she hoped she could sit out this round but oh Maila, you didn't really think you'd be that lucky, did you? Alaric's bottle spun and spun and spun and then it landed on her red converse. Wait, her red Converse? The bottle had landed on Maila? Her eyes went wide immediately. No no no, not this again. She still remembered what had happened in April, oh and how well she remembered. The panic on her face could most likely be read by everyone surrounding them and as Alaric came closer, Maila tried to think of all the possible ways that she could escape this. He kneeled down to her, cupped her cheek and took her hand. Alaric started leaning in and Maila could feel her heart beat in her chest. She almost leaned back but instead she just squeezed her eyes shut. When he was close enough that she could feel him breath, her eyes opened again and he leaned to her ear, whispering that friends do not kiss each other. Then he kissed her on the hand and as he did so, Maila suddenly wished he had kissed her on the lips. But they were friends, Maila agreed and once he was finally away from him, she sat up straighter again and tried to get the thought out of her head.

┏ This time, only 2 pairs managed to get 3 good beans. Akina and Madi, and Alaric and Maila. Zophyr and Estelle's partners ended up freezing for some reason, letting the former 2 obtain 1 good bean as a result of their inaction. On the other hand, Alyssea's partner ended up not being able to continue and left the game. This meant Alyssea also obtained 1 good bean as a result of this.
The game had gone on for a few rounds. Originally, Tone had wanted to have multiple rounds but as time passed and one of the groups ended up causing chaos, he'd reconsidered this. As a result, he decided to end the game a little early for everyone. They probably had other things to do too as it was summer camp. "Can I get your attention everyone? Thank you for coming to the game. I know it's a bit early but I think I'll end the game for now. Hopefully, everyone had fun! If you have any good beans from your time, please see me afterward and I'll reveal the prizes I prepared for you all. You can bid on them and possibly win some! Even if you don't win any of the prizes, you can turn in your beans for chocolate frogs. So everyone will definitely get something as long as you obtained at least 1 good bean during your time here. Thank you again for coming!" Tone told them all and then headed over to the makeshift stand he'd set up earlier near a large tree trunk. The 5 prizes were covered by a pretty cloth and a large cauldron was placed on the ground beneath the table that held lots of chocolate frogs.┗ ┛
