Spin the Bottle Beans! - Group 4
Summer camp is here! This is an unofficial game set up by Hiro "Tone" Bakugo! Being the friendly, overly energetic, and bright cheery sunshine that he is, he decided to set up a fun game for everyone. Taking place on a day that was relatively quiet with nothing to do, he thought a Spin the Bottle game would be fun to offer to anyone passing by at the time! It was a short and simple game and had the potential to bring people closer together. The best type of game to get friends!
This game takes place IC on Tuesday, July 11th, 2023 and has a little bit of a twist at the end.
EXPLANATION

›Students are separated into small randomized groups (8-ish per group) for ease of moderation and to limit the chaos of mass threads. There are 2 kinds of groups, Y1-Y3 and Y4-Y7.
›Each round, students will (ICly) take turns spinning a bottle to determine a partner (determined by me OOCly with randomized rolls).
›Round A: Players will have 1 week to RP their character's action. God modding is NOT allowed. There are 2 actions to choose from: kiss/retreat. Selecting 'kiss' means you kiss your partner on the lips, cheek, or hand. If you kiss, you obtain 3 good beans. If you retreat, you get a random roll by me to see if you obtain 1 good bean or 1 bad bean. Bad beans count for nothing, you just got bad luck. Good beans are saved until the very end of the game, where numerous prizes are revealed that you can choose to purchase with your good beans. Please keep track of how many good beans you have at the bottom of your post. If you forget to do so, it's fine, I can figure it out at the end.
›Round B: Once players RP their character's action towards their partner (it's always the first name listed), targeted students will then choose whether to accept the kiss or retreat. Remember, the point of the game is to get as many beans as you can! But if you retreat, you will also have a chance to obtain beans too. If your partner doesn't post in time, you will automatically get 1 good bean, so you don't feel like you're missing out on the fun. If your partner asks to kiss and you retreat, both of you are considered to have retreated and a roll will be done for your bean.
›Round A and B repeat in this way with a newly randomized assigned targets. Students will always have one week to submit their posts.
›Failure to post by a round's deadline will result in the assumption that the character froze up and declined to continue. They will be removed from the game. You can always rejoin though!
›All IC rules still apply and IC consequences are possible depending on the situation. Site rules and rating will also always apply. All actions/descriptions must comply with them.
›Prizes will be announced at the end of the game.Reducio›OOC End Date will be September 1st, 2023. This is when the game will OOC officially end.There will be 10 different things to choose from, which will be revealed 1 by 1 later on. I will start a Prize Thread after the game is over and will reveal the lowest rank one first (along with how many of that item I have). You will post in the Prize Thread stating that you want the item up for 'bid' if you wish to obtain it. You will have 7 days to post stating that you want it. I will assign the item a # and then will do rolls for the people who posted they wanted it. Whoever is closest to the # of the item will win the item! If there is more than 1, I will reassign a # and do rolls again for each one until all of them are gone. If someone gets the same #, I will reroll to establish a winner. If no one posts stating they want the item, I will move on to the next item.
The first item revealed is the lowest/cheapest and the last item revealed is the highest/expensive. But IC I think all the items would be fun to use in RPs, so don't just wait for the highest/expensive item to show up! Plus, what you get depends upon how many beans you have too. If you only have 7 beans (from never kissing and always retreating) you won't be able to purchase the highest rank item. So, get as many good beans as you can, so you will have lots of options to choose from! The highest amount of beans you can obtain is 21. Also, don't worry if you end up not winning any of the 10 prizes offered. If you don't win anything, you will be given an unknown consolation prize at the end, which you can either use/keep or sell for $.
Any beans left over after you win prizes can be exchanged for the item I am giving out as a consolation prize for those who don't win anything. The currency rate is 3 beans = 1 consolation prize item. Unfortunately, if you have less than 3 beans after claiming prizes, you won't be able to get anything extra. ┏ It was a very nice morning during the summer time. The game would take place directly before lunchtime. Why was this? Because it was totally set up for the participants to make new friends during camp! If you managed to do so, the two of you (or more) could head off and have lunch together. What more could one ask for? The relationship didn't have to be romantic by nature.
But of course, it had the potential to be if you really wanted to go that direction. However, the point of this game was mainly to close the distance between participants and have them be able to open up and get closer to their partners. Maybe make some friends in the process! Tone hadn't really expected to set up a summer game this year and as such he wasn't prepared.
Still, it didn't deter him in the least! Tone was known for being very adaptable and could always turn things around if given enough time to think for a bit. He'd also been unable to resist the temptation of bringing a large group of people together into one spot. It made it easier to see some new faces and possibly some older ones too. At least people would have fun!
When they arrived at the location Tone was holding this unofficial summer camp game, the first thing they would see would be five large circles that looked as if the grass had been burnt in order to make the circles. Within each circle, a unique mat was placed down, which perfectly fit inside the circle, almost as if it had been cut to fit into the circular format here.
Group FOUR would see their unique mat was a combination of blues, pinks and purples. 3 lovely designs of butterflies could be seen flitting here and there. Off to the side, a beautiful sunset or sunrise could be seen.
ReducioAs people started to arrive, the pink haired teen would welcome them and show them towards their mat circle. Directly in the middle of their mat, a large glass bottle could be seen. Obviously, this was the bottle the participants would find themselves spinning as soon as they got settled into their circle. Eventually, Tone clapped his hands to get their attention.
"Now that everyone's arrived, let's get started, shall we? You've come because you're interested in participating in this version of Spin the Bottle. But this game has a twist, I've added something new to the mix this time, which are beans. There are good and bad beans. Good beans you collect and store until the end of the game. Bad ones really do you no good at all."
Tone went on to explain the rules of the game and how at the end of the game you could turn in your good beans for certain prizes if you got lucky enough to obtain one. He also made sure everyone realized even if they weren't able to win any of the offered prizes, there were consolation prizes everyone who didn't win anything would get. There was something for everyone, regardless.
Plus, if there were any good beans left over from winning prizes, they could also turn those in for some of the consolation prizes. If they had enough good beans left that is. "I also set up some ice water and a few platters of fruit, cheese, and nuts you can snack on during the game if you wish to do so. Each group should see their platter sitting on top of a makeshift stump-table next to their circle." Tone told them all and then took out his wand.
"Let's get this game started! First round, start!" He said and started to cast the Green Sparks Charm. "Verdimillious!" Tone incanted and some green sparks exploded up into the air from the tip of his wand, signaling the beginning of the game's first round of participants. Who would come out with the most amount of beans at the end of this? Only time would tell and the actions of each participant. But regardless, everyone would have fun here!┗ ┛

SpanishEstelle was very nervous. She regretted signing up for this game. She was all for getting to know new people but kissing them? That seemed like a bit much. Then again, it was only on the cheek or hand and she was alright with that, especially if it meant prizes. So here she was.
She sat down in the group. She recognised Akina and Madi and was glad she had friends there.
She sat nervously until it got to her turn. It wasn't like her to be nervous, what with her relentless optimism and love of friendship. But she was nervous nonetheless and fidgeted with her necklace.
It got to her turn and she span the bottle. She honestly couldn't believe she was playing spin the bottle aged 12.
The bottle span once, twice and finally landed on her new friend Madi. She had met her in their cabin and had become friends. She hoped that this wouldn't damage their friendship.
Estelle smiled at Madi. She walked across the circle and gave her a quick peck on the cheek. She returned to her seat, not daring to look at Madi's face. A nervous, embarrassed blush spread across Estelle's cheeks. She slowly looked up at Madi.Mentions:

Hearing about an unofficial spin the bottle game made me very excited, for multiple reasons. It sounded like fun, for one, and I wanted to do everything I could at camp. I put on my best shirt and a sparkly black headband, and then I arrived at the place where the game was being held. There were 5 large circles on the grass, with a beautiful mat placed in each circle. Oh, I loved butterflies!
I looked at the other faces who had come to join the game, all of them fairly new, and I guessed that not all of them were not Hogwarts students, since students from all over had come to attend summer camp. I noticed that in the center of the mats was a big glass bottle. I sat down in my circle and took some fruit from a platter nearby. I had listened to all the instructions carefully, and by the time the game started with a Green Sparks Charm, I was ready to start.
Upon realising who the bottle had picked, I looked at the girl with the wavy brown hair and smiled. "Well, hi, good to meet you," I said, shrugging, and kissed the girl on the hand. I wasn't about to retreat anytime soon, after all this was my first spin the bottle game, but I'd spectated enough of them to know that they got more interesting as time went on. At least, that was the ones I'd watched. It could be a different case here.
I also knew that being too nervous wouldn't be great. Being a little nervous was fine, and I was a little nervous, but I was more excited.

Self | Thoughts
As Madi walked in, her heart was pounding. She was a person who got pretty nervous for a lot of these kind of things, but today she was extra nervous, having no clue who she'd find in her group and what would happen.
She began looking around at everyone. She wanted to know who she might have to kiss. She saw who must have been the host, as he was giving instructions. She didn't recognize him at all, and thought he might go to a different school.
She spotted two people she knew. Estelle Nyx, who was one of Madi's new friends from camp. She chose to ignore the second person, just praying she wouldn't land on her.
Ever since signing up for this, Madi had been asking herself why she was doing it. She was a huge over-thinker, she always had been. Prizes? Or to meet new people. Or just to do more than one activity at camp, I guess. She thought. Although she wasn't exactly sure on the reasons, she had done it, and she never did things without thinking them through.
She sat down with the rest of the group, and began waiting. She watched as Estelle picked up the bottle, put it down, and then spun it. She watched it spin until it landed on her. Estelle gave Madi a smile and leaned over and kissed her on the cheek. She went back to her seat, and Madi saw that her friend's face was turning pink, and Madi began to turn a little red. It was totally awkward. She smiled back at Estelle.

Alyssea was almost scared to actually show up. Spin the bottle? Really? She didn't put any thought into what activities she was doing which was a double-edged sword. It made for a good set of new connections and also regrets.july 11th 2023; interacting with spin-the-bottle group 4
Luckily, Tone reassured everyone that they would be grouped in appropriate age groups, so the possibility of it going really wrong was eliminated (not completely, but well enough).
So, she showed up to her allocated group, Group 4, sat down on the mat and said hello to everyone. She recognized Maila and Akina from her cabin (Phoenix buddies!). One of the other girls also looked familiar, but she couldn't quite remember where she'd seen her. It was possible she'd seen them at school while walking around the place.
Once Tone explained the game and sent off his green sparks, Alyssea looked down at the bottle and watched as the girl she somewhat recognized spun the bottle. Ultimately, she hoped it wouldn't be her first, but as all luck goes, it did.
The girl looked up at Alyssea and smiled. "Well, hi, good to meet you."
Alyssea smiled back. "Good to meet you, too. What's your name? Sorry, I don't think I've properly talked to you until now. I'm Alyssea," she chuckled.
The girl took her hand and Alyssea didn't do anything. It was another girl AND it was on the hand, so nothing was weird about it.
Maybe she needed to calm down. She is eleven, after all. She is not ready for romance. Friends? Sure. Romance? Big no.action: accepting kiss on the hand from auroramentions

It was a game of spin the bottle. Alaric was so excited and even seeing her made it more magical. Of course their interaction during their last time at Hogwarts together burned deep in his brain. He cleared his throat and any interaction he was going to have with her fizzled out in a cloud of maybe. He looked at her and already it was like a punch to the gut.
His moonbeam but their love was covered by a cloud of idiocy and others. Klaus is a particularly dark and rainy cloud in the sky. A cloud Alaric sometimes wished he could vanquish and then fly off into the sky.
He took his spot on the bright carpet and scanned whoever else was here, he didn’t know any of them— bar Maila of course. He watched as bottles span and kisses were made. He watched cheek and hand kissed and was itching for his turn. He spun the bottle and watched as ut twirled on the purple mat, he made a note to compliment it to the pink haired boy when this was done.
It landed on someone he had never met before. Alaric didn’t even know her name! "It landed on you," he said with a sweet grin, he locked eyes with her. She didn’t look the most welcoming although her hair was beautiful. "Pucker up," he teased. Alaric then went to kiss her lips, he didn’t think of Maila as he got closer to her lips. He hoped that she accepted this, I mean how could she not? Has she seen Alaric? He is handsome and he knows it.

Spin the bottle was one game Kiana had gotten very familiar with - the Slytherin common room was a place where absolutely anything could happen. Though the game wasn't one he particularly enjoyed, she still found herself signing up for yet another round. This time, there was a twist and the game was organized by a lovely boy by the name of Hiro "Tone" Bakugo. Kiana didn't know him - must be from Mahoutokoro - but she hoped to at least get a chance to speak with him. Now was the perfect time for summer fun.
As the campers gathered in the designate location, Kiana straightened her skirt a bit more, just to make sure she looked presentable. She listened intently as Tone explained the rules of the game. How peculiar - beans in a spin the bottle game? It sounded like an opportunity for chaos and cutthroat competition - and Kiana was all for it. She was going to score a nice prize and get those beans, whatever the cost.
She stared nervously as a boy whom she believed was named Alaric spun the bottle with anticipation. She could already tell that a couple of people were looking at her - very normal - Kiana was used to the admiring glances. The bottle's long, glossy neck pointed at her.
The boy leaned in the kiss her and she didn't hesitate either, accepting his gesture and leaning in as well. By now, it didn't feel so awkward after she'd had some *previous* experience...

What had I gotten myself into? Amaris thought with the shake of a head. Spin the Bottle?- she just had to sign up. A young student, seemingly from another school, with *interesting* white hair, spun the bottle, landing it on Amaris. That was good, wasn't it? At least she didn't have to kiss someone. Still, if this person kissed her on the lips, that would be pretty awkward.
Her eyes landed on the witch expectantly, her brown irises gleaming with a certain excitement. What would the witch be like? She felt a little giddy but managed to keep it cool. 'Shall we get acquainted with each other before we... do what we're supposed to do?' Amaris suggested at the witch, holding out a hand for her. For her, right? The witch looked a little masculine as well. 'What pronouns do you identify with?' Amaris said awkwardly. 'I just... uh... don't want to get anything wrong.'
Would she (or he? or they?) retreat? Or would the witch give Amaris the pleasure of quick cheek, hand, or lip kiss? Amaris was genuinely hoping for the hand. She'd been kissed there before, it was nothing special, nothing romantic, nothing even friendly if the kisser didn't want it to be. Living with an old-fashioned family means you grow up with such things.

A game of spin the bottle. That was where Zophyr was. Why in the world he had signed up, he honestly wasn't completely sure. There were many other things he could have been doing, but here he was. And maybe it wouldn't be so bad. After all, Zophyr Qethnis was not one to back down from a challenge, and this one seemed to be a good way to get to know people. ...Though the kissing part of things made it a little more awkward.
Zophyr didn't really mind the awkwardness, though. He wasn't too affected by it in the first place, being far too confident to care that someone he didn't know might think he was weird. Besides, he was pretty sure there was no need to be awkward here, because he was only thirteen. Fat chance of him falling in love just because of a stupid kiss that a bottle chose for him. Especially since they were nearly all girls apart from him, and he was pretty sure of his sexuality for the moment.
So Zophyr was in group four. He sat down and listened to Tone, a friend he knew from the sugar fair, explain the rules and about the beans. The Uagadou student had heard of the game of spin the bottle before (though never played it), but beans? Beans were something new. Not that it really surprised him, coming from Tone. The older boy seemed exactly like the kind of person who would want to add something new and exciting to a game.
The round began, and Zophyr spun the bottle, watching the people around him closely. Some other people who had spun the bottle had chosen to kiss the person on the hand or the cheek, which the soon-to-be second year didn't know was allowed. It certainly made things a whole lot easier.
The bottle spun a few times, slowing down before stopping at... a girl Zophyr had never seen before. She had long brown hair, eyes of the same color, and light skin. He grinned, walking over to her and taking her hand. "Yes, I suppose that is a good idea," he responded to her suggestion. "My name is Zophyr, and I am genderfluid. At the moment my pronouns are he/him. What about you?" She introduced herself as Amaris, a soon-to-be second year (just like him) who was in Gryffindor, Hogwarts. Zophyr smiled again. "What do you say? May I?" When she accepted, he kissed her on the back of her hand before returning to his spot. It wasn't particularly romantic, and he had no want for it to be. He had no idea where the game would go, but whatever would happen, he was ready for it.Action: kissing Amaris on the hand

Maila's yellow dress flattered around her legs as she made her way over the camp grounds. It was day 11 of Camp at Hogwarts and she had decided to be part of a game called spin the bottle beans. Basically it was just a kissing game, which she wouldn't do other than hand or cheek kisses --at least not on her own accord, she didn't know if others would try to kiss her on the lips-- however for each kiss, you got a bean which would apparently determine something in the end. If she was honest, she hadn't really listened to all of the rules. Sitting down with the group she had been assigned to, Maila said a small hi. She didn't really know any of the people here other than Alaric. Her best friend. She smiled brightly at him and watched the game. When it was her turn, she spun the bottle and watched as it landed on a girl. She had not had the pleasure of meeting this person so she would certainly not kiss her on the lips but she got closer to her. „Hi, sorry this will just be a quick kiss on your hand, I hope you're okay with that.” she smiled and gently took the girls hand, placing a kiss on the back of her hand if she allowed it. Then she would get back to her seat and watch the game go on.
