Athena was born curious. After the screaming and crying Athena was already twisting her head around to look at the hospital room. When Athena was taken home she was already ready to sit up on her own. Soon, after only 6 months, Athena was crawling around the house and bringing books to her parents who happily read them to her. Her favorite book was ‘Knuffle Bunny’ a popular muggle book about a girl with a stuffy. Athena had lots of stuffies as she grew up. Athena is very perceptive and soon had all the books in the house memorized. Her parents had to buy so many books—it’s a surprise they’re not broke! Athena kept every single book and put them in her rooms library. As she grew, the library grew. Her parents have always pushed her hard. Her mum and dad always urged her to do the exceeds on every project. After passing the age of eight her parents were becoming impatient for Athena’s magic. At eight they told her she was hopeless—a squib. They began giving Athena more work around the house and didn’t trust her home-alone anymore. When she was nine she was out at a suite with her parents. Her parents were getting fitted for new robes. One of mums friends walked up and asked her: ‘aren’t you their squib child?’ the anger she had been bottling up came pouring out of her in a wave and soon the friend was dancing around the shop like a maniac. Athena wasn’t sure how her parents were feeling in that moment, but she does know she got in trouble for ‘using magic on a innocent person’. Athena grew more and more excited until she couldn’t contain it any more. She woke up every morning with a smile on her face as she anticipated her ride to Hogwarts. Her excitement only grew once she got her school supplies. Soon she was on her way—to a new adventure.
