Athena walked into class and gripped a pile of books, which she clutched to her chest. She sat down at her desk and spread her books out on the table. Her blond hair was pulled back in a bun and the school robes fell loosely from her body.
“And my wand,” Athena said as she pulled out a wand from her sleeve. She scanned the room for the teacher but couldn’t find them. Athena settled into her chair and grabbed the book she was currently reading, ‘Hogwarts, a History’. She flipped the book open to the page she had last left of on. She attempted to block out the noise in the classroom but failed miserably, so she shut her book and set it on her lap. Athena suddenly wished she hadn’t ate as much at lunch and sighed miserably.
“I’m in a class with strangers AND my stomach hurts. This. Sucks.” Athena grumbled. She took out a blank sheet of parchment, a quill and ink and spread it out on her desk, ready for the lesson to begin. As she waited she absentmindedly twirled her quill around and around until her fingers hurt from the texture. Athena set the quill down and looked at her fingers. They looked fine to her so she just shrugged.
Sorry for the short start, I can’t really do more until someone else replies!

A pile of homework
Taylor walked into Defense Against the Dark Arts class, wearing the dark dark school robes of Hogwarts, her blonde curls cascading down her shoulders in loose waves, her bag, filled with books, swung across her shoulder. Although not her favorite class, she always enjoyed these Defense Against the Dark Arts lessons. Besides, they were extremely important.
She sat down at a desk, and set her bag at her feet. She pulled out her Defense Against the Dark Arts textbook, and after a bit of a pause, set her wand next to the book. Just in case, right?
After finishing all that, Taylor was ready for the lesson to begin. She looked around, and realized a very serious problem. The professor wasn't here yet.
Taylor sat there for a while, wondering what to do now. After a moment, she shrugged a bit, mostly to herself, and flipped open the DADA textbook. She started reading it, from page one. It was all fine, but after a few seconds, Taylor became a bit bored. She looked up again, her electric blue eyes travelling across the room again. Her gaze fixed on a girl in the desk next to hers, pale blonde hair pulled into a bun, eyes silvery grey. She seemed as bored as Taylor. In front of her was a blank piece of parchment, a quill and a bottle of ink, so she was ready for the lesson to begin as well. As Taylor watched, the girl started twirling her quill absentmindedly.

Jarael was running as fast as she could. She didn’t want to be late for class. She ran out of the Ravenclaw common room onto the stairs. She almost slipped when the stairs started to move. “Woah!” she said then held on to the railing. She was making her way to the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom. She bumped into a couple students along the way. She had her books in her arms and dropped them. “Grrr” she growled as she picked them up and began to run again until she finally arrived in the classroom.
She looked around and saw a girl she had never seen before a Hufflepuff. She had blonde hair that was in a bun. Jarael stared for a moment, not saying anything. She was just studying the girl from a distance. She then turned and saw a familiar face. It was that Taylor girl who she met on the train. Jarael looked at her robes and saw the Gryffindor lion on her robes and gave a smirk. She squinted at Taylor then went to the middle of the room to take a seat.
She put her books down on the desk before brushing any lint off her school uniform. Jarael fiddled with her hair. Taylor would recognize that her hair was styled differently than before. This time Jarael’s long brown hair had several braids. She stared at Taylor wondering if she noticed anything different on the new lion. Her big blue piercing eyes seemed to be studying her as well. She finally turned away and opened her Defense Against the Dark Arts book. She waited for the Professor to come in and begin the class.
She began reading and every now and then anyone in the classroom would hear gasps and squeaks coming from her. She loved learning and she was so impressed with the spells in the book. It amazed her. She didn’t care if others heard her gasp or make squeaking sounds. She twisted one of her braids with her fingers as she read. She wondered what they were going to learn today. She looked toward the door hoping the Professor would come walking in. It dawned on her that it was possible that she was not close to being late. She may have been really early. So there may be more students to arrive before the professor comes. She just continued reading, as she waited for the class to begin.

A pile of homework
Taylor continued reading her DADA textbook. After a while, she had to admit, it became a little boring. As she swore silently never to arrive so early for a class ever again, she looked up, and glanced around the class again. A lot of the students still hadn't arrived, and those who had looked as bored as herself. Sighing, she went back to her boring book.
Suddenly, Taylor heard a little gasp and squeak from somewhere behind her. She frowned. What was that about? she wondered. However, she did not turn around, and continued staring at one little word in her textbook:the.
Then she heard the noise again, a little louder this time. Piercing her lips, she turned, and was met with the sight of a girl looking intently at her DADA textbook, which Taylor didn't get. The girl had fair skin and long dark hair gathered in braids, one of which she was twirling absentmindedly around her fingers. Then Taylor noticed her face, and a pair of familiar blue eyes. Her heart seemed to stop. It was the girl from the Hogwarts Express, Jarael Morningstar.
She was wearing robes of blue and bronze, signaling her being sorted into Ravenclaw, the house of the intelligent. Taylor supposed that was not such a big surprise. A lot of extremely smart people had been a bit weird, and from their encounter in the train, Jarael was kind of like that.

Colin charged along the dim corridor, dodging other students on his way to Defense Against the Dark Arts. DADA was surely one of his favourites, and he didn't want to be late! At last he rounded the corner into the hallway that led to the classroom. It was pretty empty. Drat! he thought; I'm so late!
He picked up speed and dashed into the classroom! He skidded to a halt at the back of the room. "Oh! No one's here! Is this the right time?" He scanned the room, to make sure no one was lurking in any dark corners waiting to jump out at him. No one there! So Colin thumped his way up the aisle. There were three other kids already there. Dead silent. "You'd think this place is a tomb it's so quiet!" he said with a sly smile as he tipped the contents of his satchel out onto a desk.
Colin rummaged through the contents. His ink bottle rolled along the ancient wood of the desktop and various quills, pencil nubs, pocket knife, a random piece of antler, ruler, and trinket box rattled about before coming to rest. He spread out some grubby bits of parchment and thumped his Dark Arts textbook on to desk. Noisily, he shoved anything he wouldn't need back into his satchel and dropped it onto the floor where he pushed it to one side with his scuffy Doc Martens with a long and loud scraping sound. Last but not least, he drew out his wand and set that on the desk with a smart *clack!*.
"Whew!" Colin ran his fingers through his messy black hair and scratched the side of his head absentmindedly. Then he let out a puff of breath, leaded back in the chair and surveyed his desktop realm. He took his watch out of his pocket again, gave it a shake and popped open the lid. "Brilliant! I wasn't late after all! It's still early!"

Seeing that Jarael hadn’t made a move signaling she had noticed her, Taylor decided to go back to her DADA textbook. This time, focusing on the word ‘it.’ As she at there, she started twirling a strand of curly hair around her fingers.
Suddenly, a loud noise shook her out of her stupor.
‘Oh! No one’s here! Is this the right time?’
Frowning at the way the newcomer had made themself known, Taylor turned, and was met with the sight of a boy around her age, perhaps a few inches shorter than herself, with messy black hair, greenish-grey eyes, his Slytherin robes looking as if they had been put on in a hurry.
The boy scanned the room, then, apparently deciding there were no immediate threats anywhere near him, started thumping his way up the aisle. “You'd think this place is a tomb it's so quiet!" he said with a sly smile as he tipped the contents of his satchel out onto a desk.
Then, he proceeded to take out the things needed for this class, in a rather loud way. When he’d finished, he dropped his satchel onto the floor and pushed it to one side with his shoe, which Taylor did not entirely approve of. Lastly, he drew his wand, and set that on the desk with a clack.
The boy ran his fingers through his messy black hair absentmindedly, and leaned back in his chair. ‘Whew! Brilliant! I wasn't late after all! It's still early!’
At this point, Taylor wasn’t sure weather to go back to her book, or introduce herself to the boy.
She got up from her desk, and walked over to the boy. Smiling, she held out a hand. ‘Hi, I’m Taylor Lawrence, Gryffindor. What’s your name?’

Colin was pleased. It wasn't really his intention to disturb anyone --- wait! It most certainly is! This place is so quiet you could hear a pin drop and shake its fist at you in complaint! He smirked as he recalled his grand entrance. One of the other kids turned in her desk. With a frown! Brilliant!
The other two didn't seem to notice. Hmm. This is defense against the dark arts, right? Maybe this one girl knows some kind of knock-out hex!? Wicked!
The girl seemed to recoil slightly as he shoved his satchel along the floor with his shoe. Or maybe it was just a trick of the lighting? It didn't matter, because she stood up.
Oh drat! She's coming over here!
Maybe she was really peeved at him! Or maybe she was going to tell him off? Or...maybe she'll hex me!
Wait. Is she smiling? What's up with that?
She stuck out her hand. Colin had no idea what to do with it, so he gave her a confused look. She introduced herself, but didn't explain what she wanted him to do with her hand.
The last thing he expected was a simple greeting --- especially from a Gryff!
"Er. I'm Colin. McCoire." He flapped his green robe collar a bit. "Slytherin," he spat the name. He stood up and bowed towards Taylor. "Um. Is your hand okay, miss?"

As Taylor held out her hand, the boy gave it a confused look, which Taylor didn't get. Nevertheless, she continued introducing herself. When she finished speaking, she looked toward the boy for his introduction.
"Er. I'm Colin. McCoire." As he spoke, the boy flapped his green robe collar a bit.
"Slytherin," he added, in a rather hostile tone. Then, Colin stood up and bowed towards Taylor, leaving her rather confused. Who bowed these days? Not unless you time-traveled here from the sixteenth century. "Um. Is your hand okay, Miss?"
This question left Taylor so utterly bewildered that she barely even registered that he'd called her Miss. She blinked. "Um, yeah? It's fine-I mean, why wouldn't it?" She looked at her hand, then quickly withdrew it. "I was, like, asking you to shake it? ’Cause that's what a lot of people do when just meeting?"
She glanced at Colin, a frown making its way onto her face. "Are you sure you really didn't know? Where are you from?"
Taylor was really kind of regretting her decision to talk to the boy. She really should have stayed in her seat, like Jarael and that blonde Hufflepuff girl. But, on the bright side, at least she wasn't bored now. In her opinion, this Colin really was a bit weird.

Jarael was reading her DADA book when she heard the footsteps of another student come in. He mentioned that no one was here. Jarael repeated his words “No one is here” in an eerily tone. Her big blue piercing eyes gazed down on him. She glanced at times at Taylor but her eyes always fell back on the boy who was wearing Slytherin colors. He was taking his ink bottle and other stuff out. When he took his wand a loud clack could be heard. Simultaneously Jarael yelled out “CLACK CLACK CLACK!” she blinked several times
She watched as Taylor got up to introduce herself to the boy. Jarael turned her head watching with her piercing blue eyes squinting as if examining them. Jarael heard the boy's name as he flapped his green collar. “Snakey Boy” she said as the boy seemed as though he didn't know what to do with Taylor’s hand, yet bowed to her. “Bite it” she grinned
Jarael squeaked several times as she listened to their conversation. “Here and there, everywhere!" She giggled then let out another squeak. A few other students came in and sat in various places around the classroom. Some were friends of each other and sat together, while others were off in their own seats. Jarael glanced at them, giving them squinting looks. She went back to Colin and Taylor wondering what they were going to say next. She watched them like it was some type of theater show. She was fascinated by their interaction. The Hufflepuff girl seemed quiet so Jarael's interests stayed with Colin and Taylor for now. @Taylor Lawrence | @Colin McCoire | @Athena McClenin

I didn't want to bypass Athena but it has been a few days so she may be too busy to reply. She did agree like the rest of us to have a Post Order. Since it's been a week let's continue the Post Order with Taylor, Jarael, Colin as the order. Athena can jump in when she can. Once she does we will have her in the Post Order. Remember please wait for the Post Order and not jump ahead because someone responded to you.

...Dead silent. "You'd think this place is a tomb it's so quiet!"
A creaky voice intoned: "No one is here”.
"See? That's just what I said!" Colin smiled. He didn't know who she was, but he knew right then that this class was going to be fun! And not just because of what they'd be learning!
* * * * *
The girl standing before Colin seemed utterly bewildered. Colin didn't know quite what to say. "Wh - why would you want me to shake your hand?" He tilted his head --- now it was his turn to be confused! He caught sight of Miss No One Here's blue eyes. They interested him. She called him a snakey boy. She was watching them. Colin stuck out his left hand and shook it around. "Is that what you mean, Miss? I mean: Taylor? Is that normal here to waggle one's hands around when you meet someone! Bloody hell, the English are weirder than I thought!"
He glanced back at the watching girl. Well --- Miss No One Here Blue Eyes Like the Noon Sky seems pretty normal, anyway, he thought.
Taylor seemed rather annoyed. She asked him where he was from, and the other girl squeaked before giving her answer.
Colin tried hard not to laugh --- he also tried hard to return his gaze back towards Taylor who had just asked the question. "Perceptive that one," he whispered. Turning back at last towards Taylor, he said: "Aye, the lass is right." Colin sat back down. "I am from here, and not from here. With the wolf, I can walk home in a week; or flying with the raven, be home by lunch!"
He regarded Taylor with curiosity. "And no, I really didn't know about this waggling one's hands about when ---. Wait! Is it a muggle thing?" he asked with sudden interest. "I think muggles are fantoosh. Are you a muggleborn, lass?"
