Goodbye mum, dad.” Athena stood in front of her parents and gripped a suitcase.
“Don’t embarrass us,” said her mum, “or else.”
“I won’t.” Athena rolled her eyes.
“We expect an A+ on everything and every class, whether it means it comes naturally or you have to stay up till 12 studying.” Her dad pointed at the extra books he had gotten her.
“Mhm, love you guys.” Athena quickly shook her parents' hands and watched them walk back to their rented muggle car. Then she turned her attention to the brick wall in front of her. Athena set her suitcase down on the cart. She quickly took a deep breath, pushing her cart, books, trunk and all into the wall. To her surprise she didn’t feel anything as she passed through into platform 9 ¾. Soon she heard murmurs starting in the crowd around her.
“Is that the McClenin girl?” Said one old lady standing next to an older boy.
“I thought she was a squib.” Said another man. Heat rises to her cheeks. Her parents must have told everyone that she was a squib. She scans the crowd until she finds Jill and Cara chilling over near the train waiting for me.
“Hey guys, let’s go find a train car!” Athena called as she walked over.
“First one to find an empty spot gets a chocolate frog!” She called excitedly.
They all scurry around yelling ‘excuse me!’ to anyone who crosses our path.
(Side note: Athena has important parents who are in the ministry of magic.
Sidenote for moderators: these are my IRL friends and have agreed to everything that happens in this scene.)

“Goodbye Mom goodbye Dad!” I said.
“Goodbye sweetheart we hope you have a great time at Hogwarts in we love you!”
I left my mom and dad and I start to look for Cara and Athena. I found Cara and we went through the wall with our carts and headed into you platform 9 3/4. We were heading towards the train when we saw Athena.

“Athena!” I called.
“Over here!” Cara called out right before she saw us.
“Hey girls!” She said as she rushed over. “I just had an amazing pep talk about school from my parents!” She said sarcastically.
“All aboard!” Shouted the train conductor.
“First one to find an empty spot gets a chocolate frog!” Athena called excitedly.
“Got one!” Yelled Cara.
“Nice!” I said.
We sat down in the train car that Cara found. We talked our way to school and I saw Hogwarts out the window. “There it is!” I shouted excitedly.
“There it is….” Echoed Cara and Athena.
We were all jumping with joy in our train car. The train finally stopped and we exited with all of our belongings. Athena swiped couple more chocolate frogs from the candy cart too. She handed each of us one and she paid the car lady some money. We walked out of the train and headed up the path to Hogwarts.
