"Humph. So unfair." Karina crossed her arms as she had just received a penalty lap. She slowly and gloomily began her way toward the start of her lap. It was hardly Karina's fault. Oh that Ebony is gonna pay for that! Karina was already forming a revenge-plan before realizing that Ebony had been a 5th year. (Never mind for that plan then....) Karina and Ripley had both failed to cob their targets, and were spotted and the two now had to complete a penalty lap. Karina enthusiastically cheered in her mind as Rafal managed to cob Ebony and was not spotted. A silent win for Kari's end. This was not the end of the game yet, Ravenclaw managed to score, leaving Slytherin awfully behind in a 50-90 game, but Slytherin could still win! The game continues. Charlie watched her teammates Winnie Harper score 50 points for Ravenclaw, so she had nothing to do for a bit. She made sure that she was staying vigilant, or else she could miss a shot. Charlie was so focused she didnโt notice one of her teammates, Ebony, getting cobbed. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted Slytherinโs benched keeper and her best friend Ava, watching the game and attempting to boo their best chaser, Winnie.

There was no time to recover from the complete discombobulation caused by the flurry of disconcerting bludger behaviours; from the corner of her eye, she glimpsed a blur of green aggressively barrelling toward her, elbows brandishing. Ebony sharply pulled away just in time. As she turned, however, she was met by yet another Slytherin chaser who landed an unbelievably sharp elbow jab into her stomach. Doubling over with pain, she gritted her teeth and tried to lift her bat to concentrate on the game, but it seemed the lingering pain from the cheater -- who was not consequentially punished for his devious actions, by the way -- forbade her from putting her bat into any contact with the bludger.

With her eye on the Golden Snitch buzzing happily around the other side of the field, Aly swooped off in its direction, starting the long chase that she so often had with it. Rarely could she just... see the flittering gold thing and immediately snatch it out of the air; in fact, such a thing had only ever happened during her practices with the rest of her team. Unfortunately, as she headed off in the Snitch's direction, so too did the third-year Slytherin Seeker, dark-haired and probably taller than Aly despite being a few years younger. Not by Merlin's bloody bloomers, you don't. Aly had spent the last few years of playing against the house of emerald and silver simply trying to catch up to their former Seeker, who was big and burly and the year Aly's elder; now that he was gone, she had expected this to be a less difficult match, but alas the third-year and she seemed to be on equal grounds at the moment.Banner made by the inimitable Winnie Athanatos & featuring AI-generated art! Aly narrowed her eyes, took a peek at the ref - who didn't seem to be looking her way, focusing more on catching some of the younger Slytherin team members who were throwing elbows at Aly's two eagle Beaters and sending them on their respective penalty laps - and made a split-second decision. Putting her heels to her Oakshaft, she dove in front of the Slytherin Seeker, placing herself directly in the line of sight between the younger girl and the Golden Snitch on the field's opposite edge. It worked, the snitch-block foul going unnoticed and seeming to disorient the younger girl enough so that Winnie had no problem grabbing the Quaffle that would have otherwise been a true battle between the two.
Aly shot her most expert Chaser a thumbs-up. "That's what I'm talking about!" she called out to her friend, grinning, sweeping her eyes around the pitch. Ravenclaw's team was in the lead now by forty points. They also hadn't lost anyone else yet, Jorah being the only one who had been carted away to the infirmary - and while Slytherin also was staying in the air for now, two of their members had been sent on penalty laps for attempted cobbing, meaning they were going to be a few hands short in these next few seconds.
Maybe the eagles had a chance after all.

Shit! Aston thought, moments before getting hit by the bludger, as he felt the hit land Aston concentrated on holding on to his broom and not falling. The team already lost one of their beaters back at the start of the game, Aston certainly can't afford to let them down here. He doesn't think he would ever be used to feeling of getting hit by the bludger, though that's probably for the better.

What was that one muggle saying? Like shooting fish in a barrel. With the goals open she was able to easily swoop in and make shot after shot, boosting their score back up and allowing them to breathe a little easier. She wiped the sweat from her brow and fixed her gaze on @Aly Salinger, sending her a wide grin. "Anything for my Captain." She yelled back with a wink.

ReducioIn the role of Chaser when you attempt to catch a passed Quaffle (such as when the Keeper has possession of the Quaffle and passes it to a teammate) you have advantage (meaning that it is rolled twice and you keep the better option) on attempts to catch if the opponent team attempts to intercept.
In the role of Chaser, as a free action if the user of this broom is successful in the quafflegrab they can as a free action pass the Quaffle to another user in an attempt to score. There is a chance of the quaffle being intercepted, however due to the fact that the user is "so fast" with the quaffle this would be considered "surprising" and the attempt to score would be done at +3 accuracy by the player it was passed to in an attempt to score.
Note: The attempt to score would be an automatic attempt by the user that catches the passed quaffle.
In the role of Chaser, if you have a contested quaffle grab and a contested strength roll between yourself and another user is in progress, unless they have the same broom, you would be the victor of the contested quaffle grab. In addition, rounds where you are successfully carrying the quaffle in an attempt to score, you only take half-damage from bludgers and blatching attempts.

Percival watched as a bludger flew past him in a pitiful attempt to take him out. A transgression he would willingly pay back in ten fold. It seemed as if Lady Luck had decided to stick with him today as he cracked the bludger harshly towards the unsuspecting target. A smirk pulled tight across his face.
