In addition, she is very intelligent and can learn quickly. Often struggles socially as well and is socially awkward due to having a lack of friends during her childhood.

Denise was born in Comrie, Scotland on 16 September 2013. She lives in a poor run-down house in Comrie and lives with grandmother who is loving but poor. Her parents are dead with her grandmother as her only living relative to take care of her. Her life in primary school was normal, and Denise often volunteered at the local hospital and wanted to do good for her community. She also loved plants and biology after her primary school science teacher, Mrs. Higgins, encouraged her. However, one day, she set a girl’s clothes on fire through accidental magic. She was expelled and later homeschooled by her grandmother. In addition, other strange instances occurred such as curing her grandmother of very minor illnesses. Later, a professor arrived to explain everything. While Denise finally understood, her grandmother just did not get the concept of "magic", since the only thing she was familiar with was only “black magic”. Her grandmother thought that the professor was just crazy and thought nothing much about it. However, Denise understood everything. It all made sense to her, and she decided that Hogwarts would change her life. So, after the professor left and a few days later, she lies to her grandmother that she got a scholarship to an elite boarding school since she was always a good student and maintains a facade due to her grandmother’s illness and bigotry.

Dear Nessie-o-nomymous,

Let me be real with you, as a man who has been around the block a few too little times: Valentine's Day is a minefield. Even more so if you continue with your narcissistic and uninspiring outlook on life. It isn't a minefield because love is bad, but because people can be reckless with it. You are not crazy for feeling burned. You are not dramatic, nor are you too sensitive.

From what you wrote to me, I think that you are just someone who trusted the wrong person. That stings your heart and your soul in a way that no heart shaped candy can fix. However, here is what you did not see hiding on the other side of your cloudy and obscured view: your dating life isn't ruined, all that happened is, it got bruised. Look at it this way, bruises are not permanent, nor does it mean you are broken. All it means is that you survived the pain.

Being played does not make you a fool, Nessie-o-nomymous, it makes the other person a coward! Those who weaponize vulnerability, especially yours, aren't strong. They are terrified of something, perhaps of being seen, being known, or of being held to the same standard that they demand from others.

You are not naive. You did not get played for that. Something inside you scares people, and if it scares someone, they must find it safer for them to play you instead of committing.

Anyone who threatens to use your secrets against you is telling on themselves. They are admitting that they have nothing else to offer, no loyalty, backbone or character. They are a liability on you, and they are not someone you should have as a partner. You need to cut them loose right now. You need to forget about them like the cockroaches found in the basement.

Nessie, do not swear off love. I am asking you to avoid swearing off men and women and to not swear off Valentine's Day forever. I know you'll find love and this holiday will serve a special purpose to you when you find it. You need to spot the difference between someone who wants you and someone who wants access to you.

--- --- Dear Nail girl, Nail polish isn’t really that important when it comes to looking good. You could try doing a new hairstyle or wearing great outfits. Just remember your nails aren’t all there is about you. There are many other ways of looking good. Try just having healthy nails. Cut them so they don’t get to long and wash them regularly. If you really need nail polish, you could try a different one. There can’t be just one colour that looks good on you. I’m sure you’ll find great colours that you never really thought about. One thing I’ve noticed about boys is that they don’t really care about a girl’s nails. Their hair and face sure, but nails? That’s the last thing they think about. Most don’t even notice. So remember, you don’t need fancy nails to grab a boy's attention. Sometimes all it takes is a little bit of personality. Being nice to them or something they’ll remember. Try talking to them, or helping them with a spell or something. So really, you don’t need to do anything to your nails, but if absolutely necessary, just get a different nail polish. Who knows?
