The Gryffindor boy seems interested in Cassie's dancing. 'Sure! For the second dance, I think I will be doing the variation of Odette, from Swan Lake! Take this.' She hands the boy a red covered booklet, 'it will be the second act of my performance!'

Cassie turns on the radio. To the slow and lyrical music, Cassie does some battement fondu jété à la secondes. She stretches her long legs to its most on her side, which makes this move harder than usual. Yet she stands firmly on pointe, showing the strength she has in her legs. She does not notice another girl entering until she hears a sound. A girl rushing in the room falls hard on the floor of the ballroom.

Not sparing a second to turn off the radio, Cassie rushes to the girl and helps her stand up. 'Are you alright?' she asks, in a worried voice. The floor of the ballroom is hard. How painful it must be to trip over here. Then the girl makes a difficult decision to stay. She asks if she can stay and watch. 'Sure!' Cassie answers excitedly, 'no worries, we all used to trip over. Feel free to stay and watch! I am practising for my spring royalty performance. Ravenclaw, right?' Cassie says as she glances at the girl's school robes. She hands the girl a blue-covered booklet and a piece of chocolate.

She adjusts the radio and continues to dance.

A young girl was different through all other means, by her demeanor and aura alone, likely an international wizarding school, which the young Hufflepuff was only truly familiar with, Koldovstoretz. She was hugging Cassie, like a friend, and Denise realized that the young girl's name was Mira.

Cassie replied, "Yes, I am doing Ballet... Wanna stay for a few minutes and watch me dance?"

Denise was surprised by the request, unfamiliar with such requests to stay rather than being ushered out quickly due to being a disturbance, which she was always associated with, always, back in Comrie.

She responded, "...thank you..." as she looked at the booklet cover, specifically for a Hufflepuff student.

She thought the booklet was rather pretty and very detailed. She was even offered chocolate, and Denise took a chocolate frog out of the bag. Nervous, she sat down to watch Cassie dance.

Feeling a bit hungry, she opened the chocolate frog, but, of its own accord, it almost hopped out, and the young Hufflepuff caught it just in time before it hopped away.

The other much older boy, likely a third year, introduced, "I'm Kaito..."

Denise nodded in acknowledgement as the boy sat on the floor to continue watching. She then joined, sitting on the floor as well, and opening the booklet, reading through its interesting contents. It was clear that it had been given a lot of love and care, and Denise appreciated the effort and time.

The boy was interested more in the technicalities of the performance, and Cassie mentioned to the boy on performing a variation of Odette, from Swan Lake, and she glanced in the booklet and read…
Act 2 The White Swan
Enjoy this classic variation from Tchaikovsky’s timeless masterpiece Swan Lake, featuring the beloved Odette. From a haze of soft bubbles, a beautiful white swan rises, gliding elegantly on the surface of the moonlit lake. Every movement flows like water, telling a sorrowful story of the swan maiden.
Raise your wand and summon snowflakes—let the snowfall grow wilder!
Interesting… the radio turns on as Denise watches, not really understanding each move but admiring Cassie’s great dancing skills.

Baam!

Denise turned to see a young Ravenclaw girl trip over, as Cassie comforts the girl and hands her a booklet and a piece of chocolate. Denise nodded in sympathy for the girl; she’s been there before, much to her embarrassment. Cassie continues to dance.

Denise inquired to the Ravenclaw girl, "Welcome! I hope you’ll enjoy watching Cassie’s ballet performance as I did. I've seen you around before in my classes. What's your name?"

Embarrassment, has never tasted sweeter.

Maybe l should trip more often, if l get chocolate straight after and a group of people not judging me for being a klutz.

Actually... maybe not that often, my nose is STILL stinging from my fall earlier, chocolate may be delicious but its not worth a painful experience. Mmm, does taste good though.

'Sure!' Cassie answers excitedly, 'no worries, we all used to trip over. Feel free to stay and watch! I am practising for my spring royalty performance. Ravenclaw, right?'

l nodded meekly and l took the chocolate and booklet, then l sat next to the girl with long black hair and she asked,

"Welcome! I hope you’ll enjoy watching Cassie’s ballet performance as I did. I've seen you around before in my classes. What's your name?"

l was a little surprised, l usually sat in the middle or the back so l wouldn't be noticed. Father always says, "Some attention isn't GOOD attention, better to stay hidden than shine a spot light on you.", which now that l think about it is probably why some of the muggles from when l was a kid thought l was odd. Mum would have asked me to jump into the spotlight. Instead of staying out. Different advice, same person. So confusing. But l never had a problem getting attention, the messes l made practically gave it to me.

"Uhm, yeah l think l've seen you around too. l'm Mary, what about you?"

I'm pretty proud of myself, old me would have tripped over her words and somehow her feet while sitting, but l've really grown since coming here! Maybe things won't be so bad. l looked at Cassie, she was amazing. So graceful. Would l ever be like that? With my two left feet who knew. But maybe, with some SERIOUS practice and some new feet. l might be able so glide as gracefully as a Cassie. l take a bite of my chocolate, and it somehow tastes sweeter.

Some wounds feel so deep we don't think they'll heal, but when we open our eyes and truly look through the pain we see these three: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
