Her day so far had been nothing short of exciting, and buying her potion ingredients would undoubtedly continue the fun. Looking around, she saw that there were not only normal-looking herbs and ingredients, such as honey and beetles and daisies, but also more exotic ones that Lyanna hadn't seen nor smelled before. Taking a better look at some of the plants and magical "creatures", she recognized only a few of them and was starting to become a little light-headed from all the aromas so decided to start finding the ones she would actually need for potions class. Taking her Hogwarts Acceptance Letter out of her bag, Lyanna quickly scanned the list to see which of the many strange-looking powders, plants or animal rests she would need to purchase. On the list it only said to buy the 'standard potion ingredients', but she didn't even have the slightest idea of what that meant. So, Lyanna walked quickly to the front desk to ask the shop owner, and only then did she notice that there was another girl in the shop too. The girl had long, wavy black hair and pretty brown eyes, and seemed nice. First impressions were always the most important, so Lyanna smiled kindly before speaking up. "Hi, I'm Lyanna. Are you about to go to Hogwarts too? I'll be a first year, so I really don't know what to expect yet, but everyone says it's amazing so I can't wait to see what it's like for myself. How about you?" ┛
