After a long boring and tedious first month of the new school year, it was time for Quidditch game yet again. The Scottish Highland school had given every student that attended the institution to change their sport every new school year rolled in. Before the holiday, Cash had been contemplating long and hard whether they wanted to stick with Quidditch until they graduated from the school or try something new like Duelling since Cash was one of the Co-Captain for Slytherins' beloved Viridian Vipers.

Both Duelling and Quidditch needed players that could be committed to the team and the sports since now and then tenured players for the sports had come and gone. No matter how tempting Cash was to switch from Quidditch to Duelling, they did not have the heart to leave Quidditch. Both of their parents were Quidditch players when Cash's father and mother enrolled at the fine education establishment.

The young socialite had self-claimed that being a Quidditch player was their birthright and a legacy that needed to continue. And so, when match day arrived, Cash changed from their casual outfit into their Quidditch uniform. The green eyes tied their over-the-shoulder length hair into a half-up ponytail so their hair would not obstruct their line of view.

Once both pep talks and strategies had been given out by both the Captain and Co-Captain, it was time for the entrance lap to fly out around the pitch. When the flap of the locker room raised, the boos and the cheers that coming out from the spectators was deafening but the green eyes were life to soak up the moment.

Once they were done with the entrance lap fly-out, Cash took their position. As they hovered high above the grassy grass of the Quidditch pitch, their green eyes scanned their surrounding. From team Slytherin alone, there were a few changes meaning there were new faces on the team. On the Ravenclaw's part, some old faces were adorning both the sky and the substitution bench.

Though familiar faces returned to the team, there were also new faces in the mix. And when it comes down to Quidditch rivalry, Ravenclaw could pack a punch and Slytherin's arch-nemesis. As the fifth-year waited for the whistle to blow, they looked up to the sunny clear skies.

"Dear God, if you were as mighty as what people and my grandparents said you are, please let us win and defeat Ravenclaw in today's match so we can bring pride and victory for our hose. In your name, I pray. Amen"The former Prefect then made the cross sign as her grandmother taught them as a part of Cash's newly found faith.

Sucking up a big deep breath and then exhaling it slowly, the young Ironwoods try to calm their heart palpitation from the match anticipation. Today's match going to be interesting. Let the mayhem commence!

Beatrice let a gentle breath escape through her lips. Her hair was picked up ever so slightly by the soft wind accompanying this beautiful October weather. It was a Saturday, the 28th day of the month and the perfect time for a Quidditch match. While Beatrice was still benched, she did still feel pride in wearing her quidditch uniform and watching her team soar through the sky. Accompanied by her brand new Silver Arrow, that her parents bought her this summer, the second year now sat on the bench as she watched the crowds gather, boo and cheer. Slytherin was going against Ravenclaw today and that promised an exciting and nerve wracking match.

It was Mellani's first quidditch match where she was actually playing. She should probably be excited. She was excited... Just not as much as she should be. She was scared that she might mess up. She checked her broom, made sure it was safe to fly and got on, then soaring into the sky. What had to happen would happen. It was too late to back out now.

It was finally quidditch season again! Charlie was more prepared than last time, and she felt like she could take on the whole world. Flying out with her team and hearing the cheers from her house, she smiled and waved to a group of Ravenclaws in the stands. Quidditch is the best, she thought as they continued onto the field.

This was going to be Erin's final year. Her final opportunity to take on Ravenclaw and to test her brawn against their own. As the madness escaped her, she was left with the same impulses that once defined her. The want to fight, the need to strain, to grit her teeth and to bare her fangs. She was not angry, in fact she did not feel much of anything. That was just the way she was, numb in a strange way that was easy to forget. She had always lacked, lacked for as long as she could remember. Seeing it in her peers, the throes of teenage angst, of endless springs of passion and dramatic obstacles that in truth could be best defined as minor inconveniences only served to remind her of everything that she lacked. To make it more apparent that she did not belong. That she never belonged.

She did not feel that way on the pitch. She felt like she had a purpose, even if that purpose was to defend, to destroy and to be destroyed. Simple, clear, concise goals: keep the Seeker alive, he was too weak and frail to endure the assault of their enemies. Destroy their enemies, they are too weak and frail to ensure her. To die, she is too weak and frail to survive.

She would mount her broom, her fate already designed, and kick off. The brisk air about the pitch would leave her pink in the face as she turned the far corner of the pitch and found her place in the starting line. A look to either side, she would take an inventory of her peers. Alive still, yes. Very good. She wondered how long they would last.

Ayla couldn't believe how fast the last two months had flown by, and all of a sudden it was time for her first Quidditch match. When she'd signed herself up for the Ravenclaw Quidditch Team, she'd expected a long waiting time before she was let on, but here she was. Taking a deep breath, Ayla grabbed her beloved Silver Arrow and flew out with her teammates, shielding her eyes with her hand from the sun as she scanned the Ravenclaw stands for her friends.

She couldn't deny that she was a little nervous. Her father had taught her how to play Quidditch, and she was confident enough in her abilities, but this was different. It wasn't some friendly family game in her backyard. This would be a good measure of how good she actually was, Ayla decided. With a smile, she swallowed her nerves and readjusted her grip on the broom, ready for the game to start.

𝓑ex took a moment to bask in the sunlight that was mercifully streaming down onto the Pitch. While it was still far chillier than she'd like, she'd stashed a blanket under her seat on the bench, and intended to remain cocooned up into a little worm while she cheered on her team. The sunny weather felt like a good omen though, which helped calm some of the nerves that were brought on by her first ever Quidditch game.

She felt like someone had mixed coca cola and mentos in her chest and now she was ready to burst. This would be the first real, not-in-the-backyard Quidditch match that she'd ever gotten to view from the Pitch rather than the stands, even though for time being she would still be seeing it from the bench. While Quidditch was one of the few uncomplicated good things in her life at the moment, she was extremely happy to be sitting on the sidelines for now as she studied her older, more experienced team members' strategy and learned the ropes.

With her blanket wrapped firmly around her shoulders, she settled on the bench and waited for the match to begin.
