Quidditch Slytherin vs Ravenclaw - Fall 2022

Erin was one of the first, perhaps the first (as she posted before anyone else) to enter the pitch. It was a crisp autumn day, the sort of day that the other girls were wearing their most fashionable scarves and coziest sweaters. They were barely more than the sum of the fibers that they donned, their personality an amalgamation of social platitudes and statements regurgitated like a trained bear displaying their talents for treats.

She could not get away from the ones she shared a locker room with, and she could not get away from the crowd that only seemed to know how to cheer or jeer on command. She wondered if they even understood the game they spectated or if they, like their neighbor were just in the stands out of social obligation.

Bat in hand, she was going to bludger the brains out of @Howard White whoever the other team lined up against her. The best they had was some underclassman who was allegedly capable of smashing his opponent's brooms (@Jorah Moussa). She was sure she could break him in half if given the opportunity. Besides him, Ravenclaw seemed woefully outmatched in both power and experience. "Do you want me to take out their Seeker, or whoever they plan on sacrificing to protect them... or do you want me to mow down their Beaters?" She called out to @Dan Palmer loud enough that the other team could easily hear her. Hell, she was doing her loop around the perimeter of the pitch, some of the spectators might have even overheard. Erin was in no way meek, not in matter or in voice. There was no super-secret plan, she was just going to kick their asses with a smile on her face. If she lost, it was not because they figured out her trick but rather because they had gotten the Merlin-given sense at some point to focus fire her down before she killed them all.

Flash was relieved that the Quidditch season was starting up again. His life was a confusing mess, but Quidditch was always the same. He enjoyed the exercise, enjoyed getting to fly, and enjoyed the process of competitive play. This year, the bench, and much of the rest of the team, was filled up with roommates from his own dorm. Somehow it had turned out that way, perhaps that was just the easiest way to recruit.

In his regular flying gear, and with his new broom, he would be the first person to sit upon the bench that day. He expected to see Avery, who he had been seeing a lot more while Opeila had fallen into a coma. The two of them had been working hard to improve, and Avery had even taken up the position of Chaser instead. As for Percival, he had mostly kept to himself the last year, and Flash could only hope he continued.

Since he was first, he just sat on the end, bringing out his binoculars to watch the game better. It was nice that the sky was so clear, and the weather was chill. It was the perfect weather for flying, and hopefully they could step up and show Ravenclaw they were not going to be beaten again so easily. Flash had always wished for a year where they could finally have an undefeated run, but there had always been difficulties. He didn't want to make excuses, though, he wanted it to be earned through good strategy and skill. He thought the team was only getting better with time,perhaps this was the year.

Judith had been super excited for her very first quidditch game. She had been practicing alot and was confident for ravenclaws victory. Hoping that her team and her would rock this quidditch game. As she entered the Quidditch field, she stepped onto her broom, hoping for the best.

Another year meant a fresh Quidditch season, unfortunately Winnie had lost her favourite bench buddy, who had gone off to do bigger and better things as the broom race captain. She missed Aurora terribly but dwelling in her sadness would not benefit anyone.

They were playing Slytherin again, who had proved themselves to be a strong opponent last year. It was for the best that she kept an eye out for her team mates and focused on the game. Still, she couldn't help feeling a bit glum as she entered the stadium.

No matter how a chaos or messy their life were, there was one constant thing in Cash's life that they could always depend on which is Quidditch. Cash was some sort of legacy. Well, their parents played - both Ravenclaw (mother) and Slytherin (father) - for this very educational institution way back then.

Their father also had managed to go pro at some point before changing his career into a more stable one. As Cash entered the locker room, Cash directly went ahead to their cubicle. The Beater quickly changed from a Slytherin school uniform into their Quidditch one. They stare at two of their broom that resides in their cubicle.

On the left, it was their Silver Arrow, and next to it was Cash's Firebolt. The two brooms gave them advantages when it come down to flying about and whacking that ball of a menace called Bludger. But in the end, Cash grabbed their Firebolt. The Cuban descent quickly tied up their over-the-shoulder mess of dark brown hair into a half-up ponytail.

Cash then grabbed their gloves, and protective gear. They put it on the outside of their Quidditch uniform. Once the ensemble was completed, they grabbed their Beater bat alongside their Firebolt. As they looked up at the sky, today's weather was not that shabby. It was noon, sunny with an Autumn chill in the air.

The green eyes took a deep breath inhaling that Fall air into their lungs. When the fourth year was ready to go, Cash mounted their broom and kicked the ground. Once the team has done flying in formation around the pitch as their entrance round, Cash flew next to Lucinia Thawin or known as Lucky.

The other girl is Cash's band mate and now she is their new teammate alongside Jack Burnett. Cash was not mean was a professional trainer but looking back they had taught both Chen and Hawkins before the duo's first Quidditch match and they also did the same with Lucky, Before this day, Cash had trained Lucky what to expect and do when it came to her position.

As the wind blew and caressed Cash's face gently, they moved a bit closer to Lucky and looked at the other girl. Cash had been in Lucky's shoes before. Nervous about their first big Quidditch match and afraid to let their team down. "Breath, love,"The young socialite said with their thick English-Spanish accent to the other girl and shot her a half-smile.

"We'd spent hours and hours for this. You got this in the bag!"Cash cheered for Lucky to relax a little bit before the game started, They did not need Lucky to fall unconscious before the game even begin. Then a wicked idea popped into their mind. Since Cash fly practically beside Lucky, they leaned toward the other girl a little bit.

"Buena suerte, guapa (good luck, beautiful)"The young Ironwoods then kissed Lucky's cheek. Their raspy voice grazed Lucky's ear. Cash then quickly averted their eyes forward like what was nothing. Cash and Lucky had made a bet during their Quidditch practice. The bet was to either make Cash has a crush on Lucky or vice versa.

Once Cash seated upright on their broom again, Cash smiled to themselves. Perhaps their little antic could chase away Lucky's nervousness. Their green eyes scanned the pitch while opening their ears and waiting to hear the first blow of a whistle for the game of new season to begin.

Dan flew out with his team, waving to his fans as he made his lap. Gone was the Dan who didn't like being looked at by loads of people. Gone was the Dan that was scared of heights. This Dan was a Quidditch star. And he'd been thinking of a title for himself.
Best he had so far was the Falcon's Eye of the Cloud Cobras. Not the shortest name... but wow did it sound cool.

As the lap concluded, Erin came over and asked what she always asked before every match, 'Where shall my bludgers be pointed?'

Dan of course told her exactly where, as he always did. And so the game was set to begin.
