Reason for Reapplication: BACK STORY ADJUSTMENTI would like to adjust Monica's official back story. I have re-written what is posted on my Ency, just a few cosmetic changes to it, (Since I have a better understanding of Monica as a character, adjusting her Backstory so it all makes sense)
Re-written backstory:
ReducioGrowing up in Cambridge, just outside of the city, life was good, simple. Monica was raised in a family of 6, Mom (Alison) and Dad (Jeffery) offered a very comfortable home, and life for their 4 children, (Victoria 19, Michael 14, David 13 and their youngest Monica 12.)
Their family was just like any other, nothing too special. Mother owned a pastry shop, and was well known for her baked goods, across England. Father was a professor at the Regional Collage, which meant he held a very high standard for all of his children, both in behavioural sense, and Academic. Monica, though she was a smart kid, and well behaved, couldn't help but feel different from her family. Many of her interests, or just the way she processed life felt off. She found it hard connecting with her mother, and for the most part was scared to disappoint her father. No matter how hard she tried, she seemed to just get things wrong, or mess things up.
Her older sister was the closest to her in her family, offering well needed support and understanding. Monica felt seen by Victoria, and loved for her quirks, but with her parents, she felt more like a disappointment. As for her brothers, Monica never really saw eye to eye with them. They mostly hung out together, the odd time including Monica, but more often than not, were annoying older brothers.
When the time came for the Hogwarts letter's arrival, it shocked Monica, and her family to learn about the wizarding world. For some odd reason her parents were even more blown away, a tear coming to her father's eyes. Monica often dwelled on this, why was it so upsetting for them to learn any of this? Why didn't they know about this? The wizard explained a lot about squibs, and how that is normally how wizards are born in muggle homes, but nothing seemed to register in either of her parents. Victoria, as usual, was the only supportive one out of the whole family. She said it was such a great opportunity for Monica, she would learn so much and be able to do all sorts of abilities just like in the fairytales father would share when they were kids.
Reluctantly she prepared her self for Hogwarts, unsure of what it would have in store for her.
The other adjustment however is more for this request, I would like Monica to discover that she is adopted in her second year. (I am adopted IRL and wanted to add a bit of myself into her story.) My thought is that her parents know nothing of the wizarding world, and neither did the ones who gave birth to her. Her Bio mom was 16 when she gave birth, and wanted the best life for Monica rather than trying to raise her as a teen single mom. So learning that she was a wizard was a shock to her parents, and would have been to her Bio mom as well.
I am thinking to have this discovery done in the room of requirement. Monica has for years felt so different from her family, and in a break down moment enters the room and the room lets her in on the truth. I am wanting to take Monica on a journey to learn about her bio family, and also why her family kept it a secret from her.
Although small note: I'm not sure how the room would show her her real family. The room reacts as to what the person needs in that moment in a physical form. He can't give answers or is all knowing. There won't be a family tree suddenly in there. He'd rather procure a room that is cozy with obvious family life if someone earns for feeling "at home". But there are other ways to discover this.

dNPC addition and backstory:
ReducioOctavius Baird, son of William and Rebecca Baird, cousin of Adam Baird. Throughout his childhood he was known as a problem child. He almost never followed the rules and was known for his numerous relationships throughout his teenage years and twenties. Although he kept it together to not be disowned and kept himself the sole heir to his portion of the family fortune.
It was discovered after he was married to a pureblood woman by the name of Helena de Vries that he had an illegitimate child. The mother of the child, Maria Drakes, was unable to care for the child on her own. Being a half-blood she was certain her family would take the news fine, but did not want to risk the wrath of the Baird family if the child was discovered.
Maria decided it would be best to give full custody to Octavius, as he could claim the child was pureblood without his family questioning too much. Rather than care for the child like the mother had wish, Octavius, the coward that he was, had a friend from his schooling years adopt the child. Octavius feared losing the family fortune as well as feared how his family would react to the half-blood child, already knowing how his family had reacted to his cousin's children being Wizardborn.
Octavius later divorced his wife, feeling no love for the woman and married his Hogwarts friend who raised/adopted child. He is no longer considered to be part of the Baird family and only visits his cousin on the occasion to check on everyone.

Reason for missed graduation: Thomas returned home in February of 2022 at his mother's request after a series of events(hag trauma) affected his mental health. He attended therapy and contemplated alternative schooling options while he recuperated. In addition, the emergence of his father allowed for a much needed window to develop a relationship. At the beginning of the fall semester in 2022, Thomas once again had the choice whether to continue his education at Hogwarts, or to remain in a the muggle public schooling system in his hometown of New Romney. With the blessing of his parents, he will look to reintegrate at Hogwarts and resume the grade he left off as.

Beatrice's mother and father (Alice [born Lavigne] and Konstantin Dupont) were both born in rich Families. Alice was born and raised in France while Konstantin was born and raised in Scotland. However, both went to Beauxbatons Academy of Magic since Konstantins family wanted him to study abroad and learn french. Both of their Families are very rich and had/have connections to Royal families. Alice's and Konstantin's families own several estates and grounds around the whole world. One of them being the grounds and quidditch field in Fort William - Scotland, after graduation from Beauxbatons Academy, Konstantin and Alice moved to Scotland and started building the manor. Their wedding was extremely big and all the Pureblood families with a "good" reputation as well as their own families came. Alice took over Konstantins last name, Dupont, and took over the family colors as well. After that they started hosting a Christmas ball every year, inviting only Pureblood families and perhaps a half blood family that was very well looked at. They lived there for a couple years, only communicating in the highest of Pureblood circles. When Alice became pregnant with Beatrice, her parents decided to move closer. Victor and Marie Lavigne. Alice didn't have a particularly close relationship with her parents but when Beatrice was born she was thankful they were there. It was after a fight with Konstantin, the first time he laid a hand on her - New years eve 2010. Alice didn't dare to tell anyone about it, it was only one time, right? Hours later around 4 am Beatrice was born. Konstantin started pushing his work hours and staying longer even tho he didn't need to. Of course Alice didn't know that. She only knew that he worked ar the Minestry, together with the French Minestry and that he is in the highest ranks of workers. She never thought that he could be unfaithful to her. On top of the Minestry work, Konstantin started building his own business as a lawyer for Pureblood wizards and witches. He called it 'Dupont' not knowing that it was going to be a big company in the wizarding world. Beatrice was born into an unloving Family, Alice desperately trying to hold onto her Husband, ignoring the little girl crying in her crib. Gladly the house elves noticed and started having an eye on the infant.
Alice had a very hard time adjusting to the fact that Konstantin was at work all day while she was with Beatrice. Her Mother passed away around the same time that Edith was born and Alice grew closer with her father. Two years after Edith, the twins were born. Konstantin desperately wanted a boy, so he could continue the Dupont name since the girls were supposed to marry someday. Beatrice was already 5 years old at that point and had been homeschooled and trained since 4 years old. Edith still had a year to go. The more her Father loved Benedict, the less he cared about the girls. Especially Beatrice. Since she was the oldest, her Parents thought she could take care of herself, so she grew up doing so. Her grandfather adored all of the children, teaching them to fly on a broom and play wizarding chess. He climbed on trees with the four children, taught them to swim in the lake (it was really more of a pond) behind their house and did all the things their parents wouldn't do with them. He secretly took them out into the muggle world, showing them what it was like and how everyone got around without magic. The more desperate all of the kids where when Victor died. It was especially hard on Beatrice since her grandfather was the only one she could talk to. Konstantin quit working at the Minestry and build out his own company more and more. 2 years before Beatrice was going to attend Hogwarts, Alice became pregnant again. Surprisingly not from Konstantin. Their Kids never found out, just Konstantin. Beatrice's older and favorite Cousin Henry lives there and is more like a brother than a Cousin to her. He is 13 years old and always brings friends to the Christmas balls (as well as presents.) Beatrice and Henry sent letters back and forth through the years and he loves her like a little sister. Henry is an only Child and just lives with his Mother Lavinia Lavigne since her Husband was a muggle and left them after finding out that Lavina is a witch and that Henry will also be a wizard. Ronan and Lavina had a great love story and she was desperate when he found out and they fought about it. Ronan, her husband, was scared and couldn't believe that something like magic exists. One day he just disappeared and neither Lavinia or Henry ever heard of him again. Now Lavinia and Henry are barely allowed to come to the family events because of Lavinia's "betrayel" as some of their Familie members call it. - Including Konstantin. Alice doesn't say anything most of the time because she loves her Sister and secretly doesn't think it's bad that she fell in love with a muggle or that her child doesn't have Pureblood. Of course she would never say that.

Reason for Reapplication: Backstory change - Blood statues - Eventual Name Change
Since Monica has been approved for being adopted, I have started to dream about what kind of backstory she has in that adoption. Along with input from Aurelia, I have come up with a backstory for Monica I would like to submit.
Based on this backstory, Monica's blood status would change from a muggle born to a half blood.She was born of a half blood woman named Jannette. Jannette is the daughter of Marie, who was born of the Notresvace family. Odette, in order to keep bloodlines pure, poisoned those who married outside of the family bloodline, to keep from baring children. However it didn't work out so well, a child was born, despite the poison - Marie. Oddette (the Notresvace matriarch), found out and kidnapped her, in hopes to end her life... however instead she was spared by the house elves, and sent to an orphanage in the muggle world. When she came of age, she went to school at Hogwarts, receiving a letter... She learned about magic, but the knowledge of her family line was far from her. She ended up dropping out of Hogwarts, falling in love with a muggle, and had her daughter, Jeannette. The father ended up walking out, without a word, leaving Marie to raise Jeannette on her own. Janette never developed Magic, she was born a squib, and so remained in the muggle world, never learning about magic her whole life.
When Jannette went to university, she was taken advantage of one night at a party, and nine months later, Monica was born.
Unable to care for a baby, Jannette put Monica up for adoption, out of wanting the best for her baby. The Evan's family was the ones that adopted Monica.
This would also mean, if approved, that Monica is a distant cousin to Aurelia N.
Monica would learn of her family history by Aurelia's Grand aunt Astrid.
My hope is sometime in the future for Monica to meet her Bio mother Jannette, and begin to build a connection. Going through a self discovery process about her idenity, is she an Evans? or a Notresvace? (though that choice wont come till her 3rd or 4th year, and I will likely do an application if I choose to go with changing her name.)

Reason for Reapplication: I rped Aurora having asthma and I never mentioned it in her ency. She is a halfblood. OOC reason is I didn't know that magic can cure asthma, so here is the IC explanation on why she didn't get it cured. Will add this in her ency once it's approved
Breathe in, breathe out. Easy. She had never had an issue with it, on the contrary, she would call herself a professional oxygen breather. Sure she coughed once or twice in a dustier than usual place, but she always said she was bluffing and her mother, Lilian (a muggleborn), cluelessly believed it. Until she turned 8, in primary school. It was pet day, all students who had pets were free to bring their fluffy or non furry animals to school, with their parents’ supervision of course, otherwise it’d be a chaotic day for the teacher. Aurora didn’t have any because her mother was working and had no time to take care of an additional family member, so she was overly enthusiastic that day to pet her classmates’ pets. Her hands touched so many fur friends, some cats were hissing at the same species and others, some were running around, their furs were flying all over the place and the moment she never thought she would ever experience came through. She had her first real, totally not bluffing asthma attack, and this time, her mother acknowledged that it wasn’t a joke. Her father was a healer. Unfortunately he passed too soon before knowing that his only daughter had asthma, otherwise he would get rid of that bothersome thing. The asthma, not the girl. Having magical trauma, Lilian tried to close the wizarding world chapter and moved on with her life in the muggle world, that included giving Aurora a muggle treatment instead. Growing up, her asthma didn’t give her too much of a hassle. As long as she wasn't excessively running, petting the cats too much, and being in a dusty room for too long, it wouldn’t tickle her ‘can’t breathe’ mode. Though, Lilian could only run so far with putting her magic past behind. Three years after the asthma incident, Aurora received a Hogwarts letter. Seeing her daughter always complaining about how other kids seemed to hate her for everything, and knowing that Aurora had potential to be great, maybe fate was inevitable. With a heavy heart, Lilian admitted her to Hogwarts. Back to the asthma, both of them had forgotten that magic could cure it completely. Being in the muggle world for too long had left them clueless on what can be done with magic.
