I. The Roots

During the late eighteenth century where the Romantic Period reigned supreme, the Müller family was an honest and hardworking Wizard-born household living in the heart of the sophisticated, cultivated city of Frankfurt. Heinrich Müller, a Durmstrang graduate and an accomplished and courteous man who ran a small merchant business with his darling wife Magarethe and three children, dreamt of a prosperous life with recognition in Wizarding Germany. He was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth as most people would later assume - Heinrich's parents lived a semi-comfortable life with whatever money they gained from selling and auctioning old magical artifacts from historical times. Their son, however, had never been satisfied with just that. Heinrich was a man of ambition. He envisioned a life of glory among the high wizarding society, and it wasn't until five years after his marriage with Magarethe and inheriting his parent's business that he finally decided to pursue his goal.
Heinrich became a socialite, establishing a place for his family within the Pureblood community through many connections with long-time clients who provided him with access to the most exclusive, high-end parties. Margarethe herself aided her husband in her own ways, creating alliances with other matriarchs of Pureblood families by marrying her children to their Heirs. Soon enough, the Müller lineage expanded little by little with every generation born, and through all of the hard work Heinrich was able to live the wealthy life he'd always dreamt of. His descendants remained Purebloods as the lines branched out more to the West of Europe, until the main family arrived in Great Britain where the name 'Müller' was eventually evolved into 'Miller'.
II. The Main Branch

Nearing the end of the Victorian Era, Frank Miller was the first of his long German lineage to have established a life on English soil after his marriage with Josephine, a British Pureblood Heiress who hailed from a noble family. They were both honourable graduates of Hogwarts, as well as successful Ministry politicians where future generations would soon follow in the line of work. Their professions and family heritage allowed the Miller name to grow quickly within the Pureblood community of England - especially thanks to Josephine's many published political novels under a pen name.
Frank and Josephine would have many children in an attempt to extend the bloodline, and they would later be survived by three sons and two daughters - Carnelian, Howard, Thomas, Catherine and Amanda Miller. While Thomas and Howard would move on to form their own families out of the country as Catherine and Amanda returned to the roots in Germany, Carnelian (the oldest) remained in Great Britain. Carnelian Miller would then be wed to Sienna Travers and have two Heirs - Charles (who would become the new head of the main branch) and Melvina (who would move to France and marry into the House of Courcillon).
Charles Miller, after graduating Hogwarts as a Valedictorian, was one of the most influential legislators of the Ministry of Magic. He had lived through the First Wizarding War and witnessed many changes to Wizarding Britain. There were rumours, however, of him siring illegitimate children even after his marriage with Allura Barlowe which temporarily painted his prestige in a dark light. The scandal eventually faded with the birth of his only Heir Alfred Miller, a Ministry politician who surpassed his own father in both skills and knowledge. The current generation of the House of Miller, Alfred's children, are attending Hogwarts - Rupert, Harold, Rebecca and Regina Miller.
III. The Sub Branches
Since the time of their ancestors, the Noble House of Miller has had many lines throughout Western Europe. A few honourable mentions would include: Thomas Miller's descendants in Scotland, Howard Miller's descendants in Ireland, those of Catherine and Amanda Miller whom were born and raised in Germany, and the House of Bourbon Heirs who descended from Melvina Miller.
However, it should be taken into consideration that most of the wives were married into patriarchal households, therefore the majority of current living descendants within these sub branches no longer bear the name Miller.
