So, by now some of you have very likely noticed that there are two new forums on site! No, it wasn't an April Fool's joke! We wanted to offer some new places for students to explore and RP in somewhere around the castle. Several locations were considered, and we chose a couple of iconic spots. Almost any image of Hogwarts features the Viaduct. In the movies, this was the site of the epic battle between our own stone statues and the giants brought in on Tom Riddle's side. Likewise in the movies, the Boathouse figured prominently as the location where Professor Snape met his demise. In the books, the Boathouse is the location where the school's boats are kept in a kind of under ground grotto, and is where all the new first years disembark after their ride across the lake on their first day at Hogwarts!

The forums are new, but the locations themselves are not. As per usual rules of back dating, feel free to write about your experiences as a first year getting out of the boats on your own first day! And of course, these are awesomé places for all your future chaos and shenanigans!

A thread has been created in the Site Information section with a record of all interschool visits. This is to assist in finding the dates that iNPCs can write their characters at Hogwarts or elsewhere. Link: viewtopic.php?t=37984

With the 2024-2025 school year, our iNPC schools began admitting werewolves (along with several other special races). To specifically accommodate the werewolf population during their transformations, each school has a designated area for full moon nights. Gather around, the Spring Soirée is now live and in full motion!!

Fill out your dance cards and prepare to be a knight in shining armour, for an extravagant night for our dearest patrons. Whether you decide to visit the Great Hall for the Spring Soirée and dance the night away, or escape to the Garden of Eden for some springtime solace, we wish our dear patrons a wonderful evening.

Though, as some of our beloved patrons wish to test their luck within our Twisted Taverns, we can only hope they can manage escape.

Those participating in the Twisted Tavern activity will receive a notification in their remembrall by their group's respective moderator.

With my recent takeover of the school I have been working to expand the lore of our very own wizarding school, Tenūsa. While we are still small in numbers I hope that this development will be a fun gateway for more player interaction and will benefit all those who may join or visit us in the future! I also want to thank @Caradoc Browne and @Magdalena Wickham-Deakin for giving me the solid foundation of Tenūsa that I can now add towards. You both did such a marvellous job and I will forever be grateful for the work you put in.

Welcome to the Isle of Divination, a tropical island in the middle of the Celebes sea where the community is almost as bright as the wildlife that surrounds them. Soar through the skies in Elang Jawa or relax in the charming lagoons of Lumba-Lumba. Collect handmade trinkets exploring the floating markets of Nephila Pilipes or saddle up for a night of fun and dancing down at the Tari Lenso in Omah Geni. Wherever you go and whatever you do, surround yourself in the vibrance and colour of Macan Tutul, the forest that protects all of us Tenūsians. And potentially, in amongst the lush forestry, you may stumble upon the ancient settlement of Tenūsa, a magic institution unlike any other. We welcome Desislava Nenovsky, played by Siobhan McCarty, as our new Divination Professor. Siobhan is a very active member of our community who has had an account since November 2023. With her passion for Divination specifically, we are excited to see what she brings to the role, and we are excited to work with her as a staff member!

This also means that we will sadly be saying goodbye to Sereia Clairmont, also known as Alyssea Brown, but we hope to see her around in a non-staff capacity!

Hey duellists! I'm happy to announce that the third and final stage of the 2024/2025 duelling season will begin May 3rd. Trunks and rosters will lock on April 25th, so you've got about a week to update your trunks. Pairs and matches will be announced on May 1st.
