iNPC Updates are Now Open
iNPC updates are now open for the month of June (last day being June 30) in anticipation of Summer Camp. This is a period of time that allows players to apply for their one iNPC or update the iNPC that they have. As this is also graduation time, now is the time that you would be adding the new (graduated) stats to your iNPC.
To answer common questions we get:

As this is also graduation time, now is the time that you would be adding the new (graduated) stats to your iNPC.

- I do not know the dates of Summer Camp, The Summer Camp Planning Committee will determine the date and once it is known, we will share it publicly. The Summer Camp Planning Committee has just been notified that they exist.
- I do not know when the iNPCs will arrive at Hogwarts. The iNPCs will arrive on the first day of Summer Camp. We anticipate about 4 weeks, or half the summer (either July or August) these students will be IC at Summer Camp but this might change depending on the dates we get or the specifics of the Summer Camp. This will be announced when we know.
- To apply for an iNPC your PC must be registered with Index. If they are not registered with index, we will not be able to approve your iNPC. Please do not wait until the last minute to try to register your PC with Index because you may loose the opportunity to create an iNPC in time for Summer Camp.
- You can only have one iNPC, you cannot deactivate your iNPC and get a new one. They are tied to your player character account.
- We are making arrangements for 7th year players that are about to make their new student account so that they have time to create their new student and iNPC in the for Summer Camp, details regarding this will follow.
- Adult iNPC jobs: admin will be addressing the details related to this subject when we address jobs for graduated adult characters.
- Do not roleplay new characters or any changes that you're making to existing characters until they have been fully approved.

iNPC Applications are now considered to be closed. This means that any player who has not applied for an update or for an iNPC will have to wait until iNPCs open up again. For players who have applied for updates prior to the 30th of June deadline, we will be reviewing all of the applications and will either approve your iNPC, your update or we will request changes. If we have requested changes from you, you will be given a grace period to complete these changes. You will have two weeks to complete these changes.

iNPC Deactivations are not a part of our active system. We offered a one-time opportunity to deactivate iNPCs due to drastic changes in our iNPC system. Please remember when making iNPC moving forward and for all those that chose to keep yours, that iNPC is account-bound. We will not expel or kill your character to give you a new one and there is no anticipated deactivation offering for iNPCs.

We are now opening iNPC to the creation of new iNPCs. Remember, this would be players whose main account is registered with Index and is over 6 months old. Players who have deactivated their iNPC in our active deactivation opportunity would be able to make new accounts and those without an iNPC would be able to make a new account now.
For those that are seeking edits, we are not opening up iNPCs to edits at this time because we are attempting to stagger the start of this team and the management of iNPCs. We will announce when updates open, I anticipate this will be in about 2 weeks.

Please be aware that the team is new, there may be a slow start as they get used to this workflow. The intention is to keep this open year-round.

Reminder: Trunk Coding
With iNPCs opening for edits, the changes announced here are now in effect.
Trunk coding rules for iNPCs are now the same as for PCs, so please include an updated trunk code in your next update, should your trunk currently not meet the rules.
Coding Guidelines:
- Only two images
- No font smaller than 100
- No special fonts
- No colour fonts
- No tables
- Only one reducio per category (spells, potions) (iNPC should not have a spells/potions list)
- No more than two quote boxes may be used within each other

In anticipation of the ball and players using their characters, referencing their team and position, I have done an activity check of the sports. If you have not posted on site in the past month, you have been removed. This does mean some members have moved to first string (grats).
I have also cleaned out any officially deactivated accounts.
