___________________________________ I am a decent-looking girl with bright blue eyes that shine brighter than a torch, long, wavy brown hair and fair skin. With my casual-looking appearance, I like things that are natural, and don’t like it when things are too neat and tidy, like my twin sister does. I have small ears and nose, with pink lips that are often pale, but nobody- even I- know why. Having curls in my curly-hair style was something I adore. My parents usually claim that seeing my usual wavy brown hair would be a heartwarming scene. They always say that my casual looks are all because of their pranking materials, with my mother using them at times. However, from when I was young, I did think that they were joking about the whole incident, apart from one small exception, that I am a rule-breaker.	___________________________\\_ Giselle at the age of her second year at Hogwarts.
One of Giselle’s favourite pranking materials.	I am an extremely chatty girl and an extrovert. I am always eager to meet new people, and like to go on adventures. However, as my family always say, I have the exact makings of a just and loyal Hufflepuff, cuz I trust my friends very deeply and I am carefree and social, usually enjoying a lay-in. Some people say that I am too trusting, and sometimes I am, I don’t deny that. Well, as you can see, I think of this almost every minute of my free time: Rules are there to be broken.
You can say that I’m sometimes a little too emotional. I know that it doesn’t show much in my nature, but if, and only if, you get on my bad side, that would happen. If you get on my bad side, I’d probably duel you, as I am not afraid of much things (see trunk).Without even thinking, I might take out my wand and duel the culprit. It takes a really, really, long time, to say the truth, to be pushed off the limit of my patience. Meanness is a thing that I can’t cope with, so I get claustrophobic if that so happens. From the day which I was born, my parents had christened me Giselle, as they wanted their daughter to be trusting to my friends, and, of course, my family. We were a rare family that was filled with peace, love and joy. Every single day, my family would give us some pleasure by letting us do what we pleased, for a ‘merry start of the day’. Unlike most other parents which were strict and did not let their children have these free moments, mine were kind and thought things my and my sister, Evanna’s, way. I must say that I am extremely grateful for this freedom, and I will promise to pay them back for their thoughtfulness. As a Hufflepuff, my parents thought that a name that meant ‘pledge’ would make me to be thinking things other people’s way. The name Giselle, meaning pledge and hostage, proved that my mother and father wanted me to make me a faithful person, that they wanted me to live up to my name.

At my and Evanna’s first birthday, we had a huge party celebration at our large family. My parents had prepared most of the many surprises for our first birthday, as they believed that having a good first birthday can lead to a good life. I soon learned that, later in my childhood, that they had prepared for this special occasion two weeks before! Up to this day, I still couldn’t believe how hard an effort had they put there! That day was the best day I’ve ever had, and my young self had never realised that, not until now. It was all sprinkles and confetti-throwing at the start of the day, with lovely gold and silver enchanted balloons flowing in the bewitched sky that they had made, in place of the glorious ceiling. The food that day was extremely marvellous, with many wizarding treats to celebrate. It was also my first time of experiencing a wizard cracker, which was absolutely epic! Though that day didn’t end perfect, with Evanna accidentally ripping some of the muggle artefacts that my grandparents bought. Still, that was a day that I will never, ever forget.

I started muggle school at the age of seven, quite old for a normal student. That was because my parents argued for a long time on sending me to muggle school or let me be homeschooled by our mother. Before that, my parents taught me a little about the basics in English. Once I started school, I found out that the kids there were pretty nice at first, as we all started with the same things in our heads. That school’s motto is to be kind to one another, no matter how different they are. The lessons in muggle school were, I had to admit, quite interesting. Before, I had thought that muggle school meant boring stuff being taught over and over again, but I soon found out that I was wrong. They had said a lot about muggle life and how they were, what sort of consequences would they meet in their lives, and many others. I, who had knowledge of the wizarding world through my wizarding parents, found that fascinating, as that taught me how muggles live, which is quite different from wizarding life, as far as I know.

The day I got my hogwarts letter, which was a surprise to me, I woke up early to gaze at the sunrise. Going to the living room window, I smiled as I saw the outside sky. It was always a habit of mine to gaze at the sunrise, for its pleasant look can brighten my day. However, instead of staring at the relaxing look of the mixture of yellow-orange and purplish blue, I saw a creature that seemed to be flying towards my open window, flapping its small wings. There was something familiar about it, and I knew why. It was an owl, that delivers letters to witches and wizards. Staring at it tensely, a thought struck me. It should be my hogwarts letter, what I had long awaited, to start my wizarding journey.

As the fluttering owl landed perfectly on one of the benches of my window, I gently took the precious letter and patted the owl’s head, giving it a warm smile. I allowed it to have some food and water that was nestled in one corner of my cosy room, and, giving it a last pat on the head, for I had not opened a letter carried by an owl before. Smiling, the owl cooed and it flew out of the windows, and out of sight. Then, I got off my bed, and hurried towards my parents’ bedroom to tell them the news.

Mommy! Daddy! I’ve got the hogwarts letter! I cried joyfully as I ran towards the room, where my parents were cuddled between the cosy blankets. Hearing my shout, they both stirred and turned to me. When they saw my hogwarts letter, they positively beamed and promised that they would bring me to diagon alley at the last day of the summer holidays, and that, apart from my school supplies, they will also buy me a fake permission form to visit Hogsmeade, along with some prank objects and a visit to the leaky cauldron. I was overjoyed. However, there was a little doubt on my head at that time. Wasn’t the letter supposed to arrive for Evanna, as well as me?

The answer came to me immediately, for a sound of the door opening issued across the room. It was Evanna. Hey Evanna! I said happily. Aren’t you excited to be going to hogwarts, the best wizarding school there is? Evanna shook her head, and looked at the floor as though she was going to be sick. What’s the matter? I said worriedly. Evanna did not seem to be her cheerful self.

I’m-I’m not going to attend hogwarts, she stammered to us. Aww, don’t worry. It’s fine, we’ll still support you, was what I said, but in truth I was extremely shocked. How could she not be accepted into hogwarts? She’s not a muggle, I comforted myself, looking at the letter on Evanna’s hand. In truth, I was sure that she would be accepted into another wizarding school. But which one? I did not know. Which school are you in Evanna? I asked. Beauxbatons, was all that I heard. Nodding, I turned to my parents, and saw that they, too looked surprised. Nevertheless, I was sure that we’ll all still support Evanna, as I put a calming hand on Evanna’s shoulder.

When I was a child, I had muggle children that always bully me. They thought that I was too strange, as I always got into places that I shan’t be in at muggle school. They always thought that ‘strange’ people like me are useless. Therefore, I wanted to impress them by doing a muggle trick my grandparents taught me-cartwheels. As I am a witch, which they did not know, I could not do it perfectly, having some bumps when doing it. They then laughed at me saying, Oh you good for nothing brute, and after them putting an ‘L’ above my head, which stands for ‘loser’, I had enough. I ran towards them, charging straight at them. Then something happened. Quite suddenly. A long stick flew out of the big oak tree nearby, throwing themselves onto my neighbours’ heads. Them, feeling quite surprised, ran away quite quickly, as though scared that there was a ghost. Running back home, my parents were shocked, then happy for me.

You may not be outside of your commons rooms after 8:00 pm without permission. You may not be outside of your dorm rooms after 10:00 pm without permission. Students may not swim in the lake without staff supervision. Students may not enter the common rooms or dormitories of houses other than their own.
