Of course, she expected they would all go for her. Between her and someone practically being dead weight and doing nothing but staring into nothingness, they would pick someone who can actually do something. Fire and tickling, not the best combination and Raizel is doing all she could to bear everything, all the pain.

It's not new… isn't it? Pain and suffering that is. For all her Hogwarts life, it was nothing but that. It was laughable, even without the tickling charm, she would've been laughing with all the misfortunes. She was tired with everything, with all the misfortunate events. She'd like to give up this duel right now because what's the point in fighting another 3v1? She will only suffer. Well, hopefully, the next round will be the last one. Hopefully, her opponents can finally finish her off.

Just give her a break already. It was exhausting dealing with the same situation twice in a row. “Such misfortune this is.” Despite the pain and exhaustion, Raizel managed to let out those words with a grin and a dark chuckle. Either that's from the effects of the tickling charm or just her usual crazy self who finally had enough, who knows.

After some bad luck and an uneventful round, it looked like things were beginning to get better. No one had managed to hit Raizel until now, but this time, all three of the Slytherin team's spells hit. Finally. The Gryffindor looked quite a bit worse for wear.
Was this going to be their first lucky game? They could only hope. But also... she was beginning to feel bad for Raizel. Sure, they were opponents, and sure, they had to fight till someone lost, but it seriously seemed like this duel was weighing down on the Gryffindor's self-esteem.

Maybe she would go and check on her when the duel was done. She would fight till the end here, but outside of duelling, they did know each other, however slightly.

She was impressed on how much damage her team can do. The only Gryffindor remaining was hit by her incendio and Mahl's rictusempra. Lucian's spell worked as well, now Raizel looked quite exhausted. Ara being her usual self didn't really care as much and fiddled with her wand.

She saw Lucian get hit by Raizel's spell. Unfortunately, not everything was good in this round but Ara shrugged it off. Although, she was quite worried her teammate might go unconscious and they'll lose their slight advantage of the basically 3v1 match, with one of the people on the opposite team was staring off into space. She was still kind of pissed that they're not taking it seriously and hoped that the other Gryffindors on the team would also be mad at them for it.

Lucian braced himself as Raizel’s spell hit him, it sent him stumbled back as it was like a strong gust of wind. He almost lost his balance, but managed to regain it before he was sent on his ass. He was just happy spells and hit Rai. It was a relief, a break in the bad luck. Sure, both he and Mahlioz had been hit, but now Rai had.

After a rollercoaster few rounds, it truly felt like this duel was nearing its end. Raizel, putting up a valiant effort, was unable to avoid an incoming knockback jinx from Ara nor the bubble-producing spell from Lucian. Where there were already several bubbles impeding Raizel's movements, there was now more. Very luckily for Raizel, she managed to avoid a fire-making spell from Mahlioz that might very well have finished her off.

Despite the attacks, she was still standing. For now at least. No doubt the constant impacts were beginning to take a toll. Had he been in her spot he would undoubtedly be hurting by this point. Hurting or otherwise, there was still fight in the Gryffindors. Unfortunately for them, a well-cast knockback jinx was evaded by Lucian in spite of the winds that still affected him. A lucky turn of events because he himself looked not too far off from getting knocked out.

The Gryffindors were not out of it yet. Would the next round end it?

She's… still standing? But not for too long from what she could feel. She knows her body by now and it's already at its limit. Holding back laughter from the tickling jinx is hard but there were times that a grin and a chuckle sometimes escaped although that's just her laughing at her pathetic state.

Heavy breathing, blurring visions, yet she still managed to raise her wand as the exchange of spells continued. This certainly felt like a Deja Vu but this time, she didn't get to knock out Lucian with that Flipendo, unlike when she tried it on EmmaLee. This sure isn't her day huh? The only luck she had was when she dodged that incoming Incendio from Mahlioz despite her staggering movements. But that's not enough.

They could've done better than this. She could've done better than this. If she's gonna get knocked out soon anyway, why did she even bother avoiding that Incendio. She would be in the Hospital Wing by now, finally resting after this pointless struggle. Her grip tightened on her wand, taking quick glance at her remaining teammate, the one that didn't do anything but stand till the end. She had no intention of helping, she knows that by now, too caught up with her own thoughts maybe. But one thing is certain, she left them to fend for themselves. So much of a team fight this is huh. If you can't handle getting hurt in a duel nor casting spells at others, she should've just quit in the beginning instead of taking up space and possibly stopping a more useful teammate than her from joining the team.

It was frustrating…

Frustrating to the point that she was already thinking of raising her wand against her. If only there were no rules. If only she had no dignity left as a duellist then she would knock her off of the piste. But she had no dignity left right? Those misses, her horrible performance, she had lost everything so what's more to lose? Being a duellist? Can she even call herself a duellist at this point?

Questions filled her head, accompanied by dark thoughts of sending a spell towards Aries out of frustration. She deserves it after all. Raizel can bet Aries will just forfeit when all her teammates are down without even putting up a good fight. Such a coward, making Raizel feel like hitting her or something with how she clenched her other hand, shaking out of anger that she's desperately trying to hold back. Thankfully, the spells that she's under the effects of are somehow distracting her from that rage that had reached its limit.

Lucky her…

Hopefully next time, she'll be paired up with someone more competent and actually get to fight in a 3v3, not getting chucked into a disadvantage at the very beginning. Will there be a next time? For all she knows, this will be her last duel. She needs a break from this rollercoaster of emotions and figure out her next steps, if duelling is for her considering how horrible she's doing in this and how the gods are laughing at her because of it.

Perhaps she really wasn't meant for this…

Oh gods. Poor Raizel. Spell after spell was hitting the poor Gryffindor, and her teammate was just standing around unfazed. Or maybe frozen in terror, Mahlioz couldn't tell. But they sure weren't doing anything, and Raizel looked just about ready to fall over. Her own spell hadn't even gotten close to Lucian. And though Mahlioz's incendio had missed her, she really did not look too good.

But Mahlioz couldn't dwell on that - not yet at least. They were so close to winning, so close to the first victory she'd ever have in duelling. Other problems, like the dislike Lucian had for her and whether Raizel would be okay could wait. First, they had a match to finish.

Finally, Ara did a different spell other than the fire making spell. "Flipendo." she said firmly and of course she hit her desired target. She rolled her eyes seeing that the Gryffindor was still standing barely. 'Well, she is a Gryffindor I suppose, it's in their house' Ara knew one more hit would mean they would win and they were going to win, she had no doubts. She came and did what she had set to do and flawlessly as well, not getting hit once in the whole match.

After a valiant effort, Raizel was finally felled.

The Slytherin team showed no mercy for their opponent, unleashing a duo of fire-making spells as Raizel cast one final knockback jinx. Though she dodged one of the attacks, one hit their target and; alas, it was enough to do her in. Cassius was very glad to not be on the receiving end of it. It looked bad and might have been even worse had Lucian successfully attacked as well.

"Hold!"

Cassius raised a hand to pause the duel and signal for Raizel’s unconscious body to be retrieved from the duelling stage for healing. He nodded his head once out of respect. She had been a fighter to the end, as had Sere.

"Resume."

Though seemingly vacant of all thought and care for the duel, Aries was still standing uninjured and unbothered. Would she return to conscious thought in the last seconds of the duel? Likely not.
