In the year 2012, August 9 was a cold and lonely day. Large storm clouds stole the stage from the warm, welcoming sun. There was a cold draft in the air, blowing every which way. It's said that the day you were born on influences your personality- Galadriel didn't know how much truth there was in that, but she herself liked to believe in it.

Growing up, she considered herself an introvert, and still considers herself one today. Throughout her home-life and childhood, her earliest memories were of visiting book stores and libraries, playing sports with imaginary friends and sneaking up on animals in the yard. She had no friends, but that was alright with her. She could go wherever she wanted with the rustle of a page, she could speak any language fluently with a dictionary. Her limits? They were endless.

Her childhood school-life was no different. She rarely spoke to anybody, instead opting to read during lunchtime and recess. She was quite content with a pleasant silence, or perhaps some white background noise. Anything was fine, really, as long as she could read her books in peace. Her teachers, however, voiced some concerns to her parents. They wondered how this would affect Galadriel's mental health- being isolated from other children her age. Her parents would always listen with a seriousness, and then nod and say they would start pushing Galadriel to socialize with the other children- but they never did. They supported Galadriel's decisions to isolate herself from the other children. Yes, they were probably influenced by their pureblood supremacist ideas, since they were purebloods themselves, but Galadriel herself never really cared. This continued for the entirety of her time at the school, greatly influencing her personality into one of a calm, composed sort. However, whenever she did choose to socialize she could sometimes become dramatic or add some sort of flair to her words. This was a result of her social awkwardness since she never socialized as a child.

Her first appearance of magic was in her bedroom at the age of six. As usual on a Saturday, she had been holed up in her room all day, reading. But what was unusual about that day was how she had shelved her books. She had just finished reading a large chapter book. She couldn't be bothered to shelve it back properly, because she was just so tired- but she wanted to try anyways, because she hated it when her room was disorganized. She tried to pick up the book, but when her finger brushed it, the book floated slightly off the ground. Galadriel tried to grab the book to show her parents, but when she touched it, the book floated even higher above the ground, and somehow it shelved itself on the bookcase exactly where she had wanted to shelve it. This small bit of magic excited her immensely, and she ran to get her parents and tell them what she had done. At first, they didn't know whether to believe her, but her father used his wand to see if magic had been cast on the book- and it turns out magic was cast on the book. Her parents immediately showered her with praise. There was proof she was a witch.

Five years later, her acceptance letter arrived about a week after she turned eleven. Coincidentally enough, it arrived on the ninth Saturday. Her family had a good laugh at that.

Galadriel is pretty reserved, she overthinks things and doesn't charge straight into action. This is because she was always reading books, so she was used to seeing the 'bigger' picture and not the 'smaller' one.

When Galadriel's creating decisions, she normally chooses the practical choice over the aesthetic choice. However, when choosing between practical and practical, she'll choose the one with more flair.

Whenever Galadriel's speaking, her speech can suddenly become quite dramatic, or her vocabulary skyrockets This is again due to her reading books for the most part of her life. She never socialized properly, so she doesn't know most of the uncommon social cues.
