Their sudden come-back quite the surprise, to say the least. The larger surprise for Jarden, though, was his lack of falling. There were a few close calls, but for one who had only just started learning to skate it was a veritable miracle. A small grin burst out on his face. It seemed Magnus was having far too much fin talking trash and annoying Vasilius. An odd person, to say the least. In regards for talking trash, Jarden couldn't quite understand what the wild haired girl on the other team was saying. How weird that a language can sound so different from person to person. He wasn't even sure it was English she was speaking. So Jarden just ignored it.
The action was a great relief from the sheer embarrassment of the last few minutes, and it seemed the curse called daydreaming had been transferred to their opponents. What rotten luck, Jarden thought with no small amount of joy. Vasilius had been great, making it in again and again, though they were still behind, but not so dreadfully as they had been previously. He rolled his eyes at Magnus taunting Vasilius, exasperated even though he couldn't tell what they were saying. Perhaps I should learn Russian. Just in case we see each other again, I suppose.

Mentions:@Magnus Blackwood, @Jarden Ardelis@Rafael KrausTranslation: i)"If that's how you're going to react to what I said, Magnus, you're wasting your time. Save your energy for the game and stop acting like a kid on the ice."At the start of the 2nd round, the most points Vasilius had imagined they'd score was barely even 4, but fate seemed to have its way of surprising people. Within one round, the very team that blanked out in the first round was just a point behind their rivals; it was as if all the energy they'd saved from their previous pathetic attempt at playing in the round before was finally coming to use now.
Going goal after goal with his current state of mind surprised him more; he couldn't even remember the last time he'd played the sport, but at least his old touch was back.
Vasilius glided around the rink as he noticed all the outcomes of their round. Magnus had definitely taken out his anger on Arnold with a backward highstick which, according to Vasilius, seemed like the boy's bad luck in catching Magnus's wrath-filled eye. On the other hand, Rafael and Jarden seemed normal, doing rather brilliantly this round, even though the rival team mysteriously scored 2 points.
Vas was about to get back in position when he felt a presence, Magnus, too close to his face. In most cases, Vasilius would've instantly pushed anyone leaning too close to him, but maybe out of curiosity about what the blonde idiot had to say, he stood still.
'Princesse?', the word kept on repeating in his mind, as a frown slowly pasted on his face. Vasilius hated nicknames; it was something he'd warned his yurtmates from giving him the very moment he'd introduced himself, but Magnus casually calling him that did strike a nerve as he shot him a glare, "Si c'est ta façon de réagir à ce que je t'ai dit, Magnus, tu perds ton temps. Garde ton énergie pour le match et arrête de te comporter comme un gamin sur la glace." He spoke sharply, looking at the boy eye to eye, serious.
"Et si jamais tu m'appelles encore princesse, personne ne te sauvera de ma colère." He added, the nickname adding to his frustration, not even Violet used to call him that, who did this Magnus guy even think of himself?
ii) "And if you ever call me princess again, no one will save you from my wrath."

Ultraviole(n)t vs. the Blanks
There was just something off about the defence. The boy literally gave her the creeps. The heebie-jeebies, even. Why did sports everywhere have to draw people in like this? Not that their current side had any leg to stand on, with their center being similarly afflicted. At least she could take some comfort knowing that her Quidditch team back at Hogwarts didn't have such shady people.
A blink. Had she zoned out? She had, hadn't she?
And it seemed that the other side was trying to do what they had done previously. Just. Worse.
"Ey now, @Oonagh Brown@, looks like their Defence is better at running defense than ours, eh?" she smirked. It felt good to have some familiar faces around, at least, someone to poke fun at. Else she might just have to take this seriously. And wouldn't that just be an unspeakable travesty for her journal.
Still, time to get her head back into the game. "Don't mind, don't mind it;" she called out to her teammates, in what she hoped was an encouraging tone; as if she hadn't just let them score five times in a row. "We're still ahead, and we got this."

What in the nine hells was going on?
Dumbfounded, the ravenette-haired third year stood idly while the Ultraviolets finally made their comeback—and not a damn thing was done about it by her peculiar cohorts. So stunned was she that the Alptraum girl could only shuffle in place while the opposing odd yet vicious bunch earned points in their lonely goalpost. Had she spoken too soon? Was their victory not as assured as Remedy believed it to be? Her brown gaze lingered upon Magnus in particular, the supposed captain of the rival assembly. She couldn't resist observing his icy, beaded eyes rove over some poor black-haired thing as though he were scraps on a platter while whispered words met his ear. Words that were met with a frown in response—
Curious.
A slight smile camouflaged the unease of her demeanor between Magnus and something emanating from Arno after prolonged exposure, yet what remained unbeknownst to Remedy. Nevertheless, her grip tightened on the hockey stick she unconfidently wielded. With a sharp and disappointed inward breath, she pushed herself along the ice while espying the rival goalpost and dug deep within the deep, dark recesses to scourge up some willpower to earn some points and finish this match.
The sooner this game over, the better.

That was quite the right word to explain the predicament the team commonly known as Blanks had appeared to be in. It was as if a higher power had tugged at the strings of their fate and left them motionless despite the team having very well coordinating their plan beforehand.
Something had happened within the splint second they had lost their focus, giving the other whats their name team a chance to sneak by some points, the only ways they could even dream of accomplishing this task was to sneak their chances in a moment of blurriness found within the blanks.
The hit to Arno was quite tough, however it wasn't anything Arno couldn't walk off, yet the dreaded feeling of having lost their chance gnawed at Arno, who only wished to finish this off sooner rather than later.
He was curious, did that blonde jackass also go to Durm or did he simply wear facial features akin to plebs? nonetheless, it wasn't worth his time, if Arno didn't have more important matters on his mind, he'd find the guy who attacked him and scalp his head, leaving the dude as bald as the puck.
He assessed the rest of his team before kicking off to his feet and moving around.

Ultraviole(n)t vs. the Blanks

ULTRAVIOLE(N)T vs. BLANKS Post 3.═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════Much to Rafael’s bemusement, the Ultraviole[n]ts’ previous showcase of incompetence was quietly ripped to shreds – or rather, violently, as Blackwood proceeded to hone in on a familiar Durmstrang student going by the name @Arno Dorian. It occurred to Kraus, as he watched the latter take damage to the crown of his head, that what ferocity or enthusiasm Magnus beheld could offer a minuscule glimpse into passion, passion that Rafael could use in favour of himself— a provocative thought.
While the others were fairing, with Ardelis and Nighthawk seizing the opportunity of the stillness from the Blanks to score five goals, Rafael felt that he himself was not carrying his weight. Between skating to and fro from one length of the goalpost to another, an oddity involving two shots of the puck slipping in left him utterly flummoxed. However, there was a state of dismay that overruled his bewilderment: The referees agreed to count them as points. And thus, without moving a twitch of muscle, the opponents were back in the lead.
Rafael’s grip on his hockey stick tightened before he let his fingers hang loose around the twig, palm clammy with sweat and pressure. Whilst this whole affair was by far very ridiculous, participating in Muggle sports, he had to admit that deep down, the young Kraus cared enough to will for his team to earn victory. “It is not yet the time to celebrate,” he murmured down at the ice beneath his skates, tendrils of frost scattered patterns on the blades as if in approval.

Ultraviole(n)t vs. the Blanks
The blonde whirlwind was known for many things. What she was not known was for simply missing out on doing anything at all. She contributed this however to the other team's sheer lack of passion for the game. It angered her enough to make even herself pause, as she yelled at the other team to get a move on.
After all she had wanted to play a game and crush them and for that she needed them to actually do things. Otherwise it would simply not be satisfactory enough. Of course there was still some enjoyment, but there was little pride in winning when it did not feel very earned.
However she snapped back into focus right away. She would ensure to make the other team suffer, as she wanted to leave the ice victorious and for that she had to actually get things done. She looked very much forward to causing a little bit of trouble, as she gripped her hockey stick tightly and slid across the ice with her skates. She was feeling a lot more comfortable and in tune with the way she had to move with them now.
Her parents had sometimes taken her ice skating but she was younger then and only went and did it a very few times in the last years. But in a way it felt like riding a bike, which you never forgot how to do either.

Two players on each side got into the thick of it, with Dorian shim-shim-shimmying enough to distract Ardelis somewhat. Not enough to distract him from grabbing the puck first, though! After that, it became mostly a battle between Norden-Alptraum and Nighthawk, but no matter which of them grabbed the puck, no more goals would be scored in this game. The goalies, Kraus and Carter, were just too dang good. The Puck
Right before the game whistle could blow, Blackwood decided he'd had enough of this shimmying little prick and gifted him a backwards high stick to the face. Dorian went down, but almost before he could hit the ice, Brown skated over and whacked Blackwood herself with enough force to send him into dreamland. The ref blew their whistle, and the game was over, albeit with two fewer players than it had been moments before. The Defence
These two teams would seem to benefit from their opponents having missed out on some of the action at times, for when the dust settled, it would be discovered that only one team managed to outscore both/either of the teams in this silver-medal match! As such, the Blanks would take the silver and Ultraviole(n)t the bronze. Well done, all!
Outcome
Arno shimmies and distracts Jarden, but not Vasilius
Jarden grabs 1x, Remedy grabs 1x, and Vasilius grabs 3x
Rafael and Camilla block all five goal attempts
Magnus Backwards High Sticks Arno for 400 dmg, he is KOB
Oonagh Backwards High Sticks Magnus for 500 dmg, he is KOB
Final Score
(bronze) Ultraviole(n)t 5 vs 6 Blanks (silver)
