Clarke • kl-AH-rk
The surname "Clarke" is of significant historical depth and widespread origin, primarily tracing its roots back to both English and Irish linguistic traditions. The most commonly accepted meaning of the name is "clerk" or "cleric." This occupational surname emerged during the Middle Ages, a time when literacy was a highly specialized skill. Initially, the term "cleric" referred to a member of the clergy or a religious order. However, because members of the clergy were often among the few who could read and write, the term soon expanded to encompass anyone who was literate, particularly those employed in administrative or secretarial roles.

Birth:

Reducio
The atmosphere in St. Mungo's maternity ward on the first of July in 2013 was alive with a soft, anticipatory magic. Pastel-colored spells danced in the air, casting a soothing and optimistic mood. Elara Clarke, with her inky black hair beaded with sweat from exertion, rested back against the pillows, her eyes on the warm-faced medi-witch, a round woman with a comforting smile and shining blue eyes. At her side, Thomas Clarke clamped her hand, his own normally firm fingers shaking with a combination of tension and deep expectation.

Elara had been laboring for hours, each surge of magic-charged contractions drawing her closer to welcoming her little one. The medi-witch, Healer Finch, tracked Elara's progress with serene expertise, her wand every now and then releasing soft, diagnostic glows. The room itself was filled with a golden, warm light, summoned by a soothing Lumos Maxima charm that waxed and waned in brightness with the room's rhythm.

"Little while longer now, dear," Healer Finch cooed softly, her voice a gentle low murmur. "You're doing beautifully. I can feel her desire to be with us."

Thomas presented Elara with a sip of a soothing potion, the lavender-scented, sweet liquid calming some of the pain. Weeks ago, they had both agreed on the name Aurette, a sweet name that seemed as light and kind as the earliest rays of summer sun. They pictured a small girl with a sunny disposition and a compassionate heart.

As the end was high, a tangible change in the room's magical energy was felt. The atmosphere grew dense, and a warm, golden aura strengthened around Elara. With one last spurt of power and a heartfelt shove, a tiny cry was heard throughout the room – a noise both delicate and strong, declaring a new being had come into being.

Healer Finch carefully floated the small baby, washing her with a gentle, magical cloth. Elara and Thomas stood by, their faces creasing with a combination of tiredness and un-contained happiness. Their daughter.

"It's a girl," said Healer Finch, her face splitting into a grin. "A lovely, healthy little witch." She gently settled the baby into Elara's arms. Aurette Clarke was small, her face flushed, her dark hair a sodden cap on her head. Her small fists were tightly clenched, and her cries slowly eased as she appeared to feel the comfort and security of her mother's arms.

Elara looked down at her daughter, tears welling up in her eyes. Thomas bent close, his eyes brimming with emotion. He stroked a gentle finger over Aurette's cheek, his eyes widening at the softness of her skin.

"Hello, Aurette," he whispered, his voice choked with emotion. "Welcome to the world." Aurette, as if comprehending his voice, opened her eyes. They were an amazingly clear green, spread wide with a newborn's guileless astonishment as they scanned the fuzzy outlines of her parents' faces. A small hand curled out and tentatively stretched, her tiny fingers closing around Elara's.

In that instant, hugged by the soft wonder of St. Mungo's, illuminated by the soft radiance of enchanted light, and surrounded by the limitless love of her parents, Aurette's life started. The initial bloom of summer had unfurled, introducing a fresh warmth and light into the world. The soft vibration of magic in the room appeared to hum a silent lullaby, greeting Aurette into her magical existence.
History/ Background story:
Reducio
As a child, Aurette has always been social and adventurous, which is a perk you could get from growing up in the country. She used to go on a prep school for witches where she met many of her friends. She had always been so vibrant and approachable. At her school, she was well-liked. Her confidence started with her family. She would occasionally make up stories and tell them to her little brother, Aster.

Both children were very close growing up but most people can usually spot the differences. Aster was a quiet, introverted boy who loved plants. Heck, he even read all their mum's herbology books before Aurette could identify what the difference between a herb and a weed was. But despite their unlikely differences, they still remained each other's best friends.

But Aurette's dreams of growing up in the country side faded before she could turn ten. Her family moved to Godric's Hollow so that their home could be closer to the ministry, where their father works at. Aurette had difficulty making friends at first, but because of her outgoing persona and a few weeks to recover, Aurette has made close friends after a few months.

Growing up the Aurette always felt loved and noticed by her family, whether it was socializing with her cousins or baking with her grandmother. Their family has always been tightly knit and Aurette loved that. She promised to herself that her family would always be the people she would look for support and love.[/size].
FIOM:
Reducio
Aurette's first instance of magic was when she was six, when they were visiting their grandmother for easter and she accidentally sneezed bubbles when her cousin was telling her a funny joke and at that time she thought it was funny and laughed harder in which more bubbles appeared. That act was witnessed by her aunt, she was ecstatic about knowing that her niece has performed accidental magic and explained it to the children. It was then that Aurette understood and was very happy knowing that she had a chance to be a witch. When she told her parents they were very proud of her and told her that she had a chance to go to Hogwarts and they conducted a small party for their close friends and family.

Mother :
Full name: Elara Tiffany Clarke (Neé Meadowstreet)
Status: Half-blood
Age: 36
Occupation: Healer
Ex-Ravenclaw
Reducio
Elara Meadowstreet's trip to St. Mungo's was all the more significant for its start in the non-magical world. Born to a wizard father,.who died when she was 4, and raised by a muggle mother who loved her but were otherwise utterly non-magical, in the idyllic Yorkshire Dales, her initial experience of magic was the small, unexplainable phenomena that so often precede a developing witch or wizard – misplaced things turning up in odd spots, flowers flowering out of season with an unnaturally intense color.

It wasn't until the day of her eleventh birthday, when the crisp white envelope with the seal of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry came, that the reality of her special nature was known. For both her parents, it was a surprise that filled them with wonder and a dash of fear. Elara, though, sensed an instant belonging, a tug in the direction of a world that she had only ever imagined.

Her arrival at Hogwarts was a sensory overload of new visual, auditory, and, naturally, magical stimuli. Being a half-blood without knowing of her magic, she was both wide-eyed with wonder and quietly determined to learn and comprehend all things. Her academic prowess was unparalleled, her logical Muggle background giving her a firm foundation on which to understand the complexities of spells and potions, and her natural empathy for the people and the world around her meaning that she could empathize with the magical world in a way that went well beyond intellect.

It was in her fifth year, within a disproportionately unruly Potions class with volatile materials and a sputtering cauldron, that she first actually reached out to Thomas Clarke. Thomas, a gentle and introspective pure-blood wizard from a generations-long line of accomplished magical artifact enthusiasts, was assigned Elara on the task. While Elara's analytical mind assisted them in making sense of the recipe, it was Thomas's even temper and soothing sense of humor that eased her apprehensions regarding the more volatile elements of magic.

Thomas was intrigued by Elara's outside observer's view as a newcomer to the world of magic. He was impressed by her quick mind and her unshakeable resolve. He appreciated her genuine interest in even the very ordinary things about magic. Elara was attracted to Thomas's reserved confidence, his profound familiarity with wizarding history and culture, and the meticulous manner in which he elucidated things that were unclear to her.

It was their mutual passion for the past of magical objects and how they were used that would result in countless late-night study sessions at the library. They would sit for hours poring through ancient tomes, deciphering worn inscriptions and awed by the resourcefulness of the wizards of the past. It was in these secluded hours, sat surrounded by the silent intellection of the library, that their friendship evolved into something more.

Thomas never viewed Elara's Half-blood status as anything less than proof of her strength and resilience. He respected her for embracing a world so far different from one she grew up in and succeeding within it. Elara, for her part, respected Thomas's open-minded nature and how he perfectly bridged the gap between the world of magic and the Muggle world in his mind.

Their romance through their last years at Hogwarts was filled with common exploits in the castle grounds, soft-spoken nights by the Black Lake, and mutual respect for each other's interests. When they graduated, their relationship was solid and their future together as sure as the dawn.

Post-Hogwarts, whereas Thomas went on to have a career in the Ministry, Elara's vocation to heal called her to St. Mungo's. Her Half-blood worldview afforded her an especial understanding of patients across all backgrounds, and her scientific mindset enabled her to look at magical healing with a rational and analytical mind, frequently spotting solutions others would not.

Her peers at St. Mungo's soon saw her ability and commitment, irrespective of her heritage. Her proficiency in potions, gained through her systematic method, and her empathetic knowledge of magical illness made her an asset to the healing fraternity.

When Thomas and Elara were ready to have children, it was an event that brought joy to both of them. They had no doubt that their child would enjoy the best of magical heritage and Muggle sense, something that they thought would only make their life richer. And when Aurette was born in St. Mungo's hospital, bathed in the kind magic of her mother's workplace where she spent most of her life mending, it seemed to be the best start to the family saga.

Elara's trip from the Muggle world to that of a respected healer and a devoted mother was a testament to her strength, to her intelligence, and to the sustaining power of love that did not recognize magical boundaries.

Reducio
Thomas Clarke's personal life outside the Department of Magical Games and Sports was as friendly and convivial as his work persona. His sunny disposition wasn't an affectation in his line of work; it was a fundamental part of his nature that made him popular with his friends, relatives, and even acquaintances he didn't know well.

Raised in a pure-blood family, Thomas was surrounded by an intense sense of tradition and the wizarding world's rich history. Still, his parents, even though they were proud of their bloodline, also insisted on seeing beyond bloodlines and giving merit to people based on their character and talents. This balanced upbringing developed Thomas into a man who was at ease in his background but who was also open and hospitable to others from other backgrounds, something that attracted him to Elara.

His interest in magical objects started in childhood, spending hours with his parents' inventory of magical objects – self-stirring cauldrons, self-shining silverware, and portraits that provided biting commentary. He was not so much interested in the theoretical aspects of magic, but more intrigued by its application, how magic could make ordinary objects perform extraordinary functions. This practical curiosity extended obviously to the realm of wizarding games and sports, where magical equipment was indispensable.

Outside of his work and family life, Thomas had a large and varied group of friends, most of whom he had met while at Hogwarts. He was a frequent attendee of wizarding parties, where he would be found chatting and laughing with an assortment of people, amusing them with tales of his work and embellishments from them. He was a master of putting others at ease and creating a feeling of camaraderie, whether he was going over the latest standings in the Quidditch league or arguing the merits of assorted self-propelled shuttlecocks employed in differing wizarding lawn games.

Even though he was so sociable on the outside, Thomas also valued quieter times. He liked to spend nights in with Elara, sipping a cup of tea by the fire, talking over their day, or reading in silent contentment. He respected Elara's intellect and her professionalism, and he would often consult with her about problems he had at the Ministry, appreciating her rational and empathetic input.

Fatherhood added another level of happiness to Thomas's life. He approached it the way he approached everything - enthusiastically. With Aurette, he talked of Quidditch legends and the magical abilities of various broomsticks right from childhood. He patiently replied to her interminable queries regarding the wizarding world and nurtured her creative endeavors, frequently astonished by her inimitable approach to understanding and viewing the magic that surrounded them.

By the time Aster came, Thomas was experiencing the pleasures of early childhood once more through his son's limitless energy and contagious curiosity. He enjoyed Aster's fantasy games and his unshakeable sense of wonder at the magic in everything. Thomas went out of his way to spend one-on-one time with both his children, promoting each of their individual interests and developing a strong brotherly bond between them.

He was a caring and engaged father, going to Aurette's school functions and explaining the complexities of different wizarding games patiently to Aster. He thought that his children should be encouraged to develop their individual talents and pursue their interests, whether it was Aurette's artwork or Aster's interest in plants.

Thomas Clarke was a man who saw magic in the mundane – in the excitement of a Quidditch game, in the complex beauty of a magical relic, and above all, in the love and laughter he shared with his loved ones. His good-natured disposition and real warmth made him the pillar of his community and a cherished husband and father. He eagerly awaited the day when Aurette and Aster would become their own magical personas, ready to encourage them each step of the journey with his usual zeal and unshakeable devotion.

Brother :
Full Name: Aster Leonard Clarke
Status: Pure-blood
Age: 9
Reducio
Aster Leonard Clarke, two years younger than his sister Aurette, had a quiet introspectiveness that marked him out even at an early age. Born August 23, 2015, the warmness of late summer appeared to bring a soft, caring nature out in him which best found expression in the realm of plants.

Even at a young age, as Aurette dabbled in her creative leanings and Thomas regaled with his energetic stories of Quidditch, Aster found himself drawn to the peacefulness and slow development of nature. He would spend long hours in Elara's herb garden, his small fingers delicately studying leaves and blooms, his child's mind seemingly in tune with their quiet pulse.

As a child, Aster's reserved personality caused him to seek comfort and wonder in the presence of plants. As much as he loved his family, he frequently required time alone with himself, a place where he could watch and ponder and indulge in the finer things of the botanical universe. This was not being shy, but also an intense concentration and an appreciation for the quiet wonder that he saw in nature.
His interest in Herbology emerged early and increased consistently.

At nine years old, Aster had a remarkable understanding of magical and non-magical flora for someone his age. Elara, his earliest and most formative instructor in this world, developed his interest with encouragement and patience, teaching him her own healing knowledge and how to care for all sorts of specimens. His bedroom windowsill was a colorful reflection of his developing green thumb, a tiny ecosystem of lovingly cared-for flora.

Aster's reserved nature concealed a vibrant inner life rich with the subtle lore of the plant world. He read books on Herbology, his fingers following the lines of illustrations of strange and wondrous flowers and his mind hungrily learning about their properties and applications. His passion, though not displayed in his father's loud fashion, was evident in the intense concentration with which he read and tended his plants. He might take a significant period of time describing the precise soil needs of other magical fungi or the intriguing symbiotic partnerships among other plant forms and magical beings.

His relationship with Aurette was also one of silent understanding and respect. Although their main interests were different, they shared a great love of nature. Aurette frequently asked Aster for his opinions about the flora she wanted to paint, and Aster appreciated Aurette's talent for bringing the beauty that he saw in the world into her own special unique vision.

Thomas, who enjoyed his own interests in the more action-packed realm of magical sports, unreservedly encouraged Aster's fondness for Herbology. He would accompany him to expert nurseries and botanical gardens, amazed by his son's unobtrusive knowledge and real enthusiasm. He came to value the subtle magic within a developing Mandrake or the etheral beauty of a Moonpetal, frequently discoursing with Aster on their characteristics and cultivation.

As he reached his tenth birthday and waited in anticipation for his own Hogwarts letter, Aster's enthusiasm was focused on the famous Herbology greenhouses and the possibility of studying under Professor Sprout. He envisioned delving into the mysteries of the most uncommon and magical plants and yearned to nurture his knowledge and enhance his connection with the quiet, powerful magic of the earth.

Nine years old and on the cusp of turning ten, Aster Leonard Clarke was a soft-spoken and reflective boy, discovering his voice and his love in the quiet, green world of Herbology. His introverted personality stood him well to note and appreciate the subtle magic of plants in a way that foreshadowed a future very much grounded in the natural world.

✮Aurette Clarke - First-Year - Hufflepuff✮
•-Appearance-•
Hair
Reducio
Aurette's most noticeable attribute was usually the fall of dark, thick hair down her back, usually as far as her ribs. It had a natural gloss and was full of life, shining as if infused with water. When left loose, it was wavy and framed her face softly, showing a subtle, effortless elegance.

But Aurette loved to play around with styles, frequently revealing her introspective and artistic personality in the manner in which she styled her long locks. Based on mood, event, or sheer caprice, her dark hair was capable of becoming many different looks:

• Plain Braids: For everyday use while Herbology or Potions, she could braid it into one or two tidy braids which kept it out of her face while still appearing tidy and neat. Occasionally, she would adorn the ends with little, dainty flowers or ribbons in Hufflepuff yellow and black, a hint of personality.

• Half-Up Styles: Frequently, she would tuck the upper sections of hair behind her head, using a basic clasp or an elaborate braided knot. This removed the hair from her face but left the rest to drape freely down the back of her head.

• Elegant Buns: For special events or whenever she needed to look more refined, Aurette could skillfully twist and pin her hair into elegant buns at the back of her neck. Occasionally, she would leave loose strands to frame her face elegantly.

• Fancy Plaits: Occasionally, spurred by the drawings in her books or maybe an unusual knot that she had mastered, Aurette would braid her hair into more complex plaits, at times with smaller braids inside bigger ones, making for a visually stunning appearance.

• Accessorized Styles: Aurette also possessed a portfolio of hair accessories she would occasionally add to her styles. These included plain headbands in subtle colors to more elaborate clips that featured minute charms or understated decorations that reflected her artistic flair.

No matter the style, Aurette's black hair always appeared to have a healthy sheen about it, an outward manifestation of her own quiet devotion and attention to detail. It was a malleable canvas on which she could paint her inner self in nuanced yet defined strokes, a flowing, dark complement to her frequently bright and considerate green eyes. It was an aspect of hers that was naturally lovely and indicative of her own gentle creativity.
Face
Reducio
Aurette had a calm and expressive countenance, one that tended to mirror her reflective and compassionate character. Her face was soft and rounded, lending to a general impression of reserved loveliness and genuineness.

Her eyes were perhaps her most striking feature, a clear and bright shade of green that seemed to hold a deep well of curiosity and empathy. They were often wide and observant, taking in the world around her with a keen interest, whether she was studying a new plant, sketching a fascinating creature, or simply listening intently to a friend. Her gaze was usually direct and earnest, conveying a sense of honesty and genuine connection.

Her eyelashes were dark naturally and comparatively long, outlining her green-colored eyes and providing a hint of softness to her features. Her eyebrows were naturally created, tracing a smooth arch that maximized the expressiveness of her eyes.

Aurette possessed a refined nose, not too large or too small, harmonizing well with the rest of her face. Her cheeks tended to be slightly flushed, particularly when she was focused or a bit shy. They had a soft curve that made her face appear softer.

Her lips were plump and gently formed, frequently twisted into a little polite smile. Her expressions, when she talked, were kind and genuine, echoing her introspective nature.

The outline of her face was somewhat oval, with a rounded jawline that was not sharply defined. This added to the general softness and friendliness of her looks. Her skin was fair, with a natural radiance that suggested she spent a lot of time outdoors, whether walking round the Hogwarts grounds or living in her own small hothouse full of plants.

In general, Aurette's expression was a representation of her inner nature: kind, considerate, and quietly perceptive. Her striking green eyes tended to dominate, showing her sincere interest in the world and those around her. Her gentle features and softening expressions made her seem friendly and dependable, which suited her Hufflepuff nature perfectly.
Body
Reducio
At the age of eleven, Aurette had a build that was still in the making, indicative of the age and active lifestyle she had at Hogwarts. She was of average height for her peer group and had a natural, wholesome build that told of dashing about the grounds of the castle and getting on with the general run of student life.

Her build was slim but strong. Though not at all muscular, she had a natural strength and endurance that made her walk comfortably up and down the lengthy halls of Hogwarts and stay outside without fatigue. Her body movements were usually smooth and elegant, testifying to a subdued coordination.

Her legs, her arms, were in proportion to her height, revealing the natural length of a child growing up. Her hands were usually occupied, whether drawing in her notebook, carefully flipping the pages of a book, or softly coaxing a flower she may have picked. Her fingers were slender and revealed a natural dexterity.

Her posture was generally good, showing a quiet confidence and awareness of her surroundings. She did not slouch but went with a soft uprightness.

Her skin shared the same fair color as her face, with a natural smoothness that spoke of youth. It would likely freckle a little during the warmer months outdoors.

In general, Aurette's physical form was that of a well and vigorous young witch during her adolescent years. It exuded a natural flow and inner strength, paired to perfection with her soft nature and introspective personality. There was earthiness to her presence, an aura of ease in her own flesh as she went about exploring the magic surrounding her.
Style
Reducio
Aurette's own personal style was a appealing combination of functionality, warmth, and understated artistic taste, indicative of her considerate personality and love of tradition and originality. Her fashion choices tended to reflect this by the use of functional elements suitable for a Hogwarts student combined with expressions of her own personal identity.

Her love of certain shoes was a major component of her style:

• Mary Janes with Socks: This was a common option, giving her a sense of old-fashioned sweetness and tidiness. She usually wore them with socks in neutral colors or occasionally with soft patterns, maybe stripes in Hufflepuff shades or small flowers. It was comfortable enough to wear while walking around the castle but also incorporated a sense of old-fashioned prettiness into her appearance.
• Doc Martens: Providing a more earthy and somewhat defiant bite, her Doc Martens would have been well broken in and cozy. They gave toughened durability for venturing around the Hogwarts campus and a bit of uniqueness to her overall look, suggesting a subtle self-assurance hidden beneath her soft nature.
• Converse All Stars: For less formal days or when she needed easy shoes for longer walking, her Converse All Stars were a favorite. She may have worn timeless colors or even a color that quietly indicated her Hufflepuff house pride or her artistic style.

Her hairstyle and accessory choices also reflected well about her personality:
• Berets: These brought a bit of artistic panache and sophistication to her wardrobe. She probably had a couple in various colors, like a standard black, a sunny mustard yellow, or a rich forest green. The beret would always be slightly cocked on her head, accentuating her face and bringing a bit of quiet assurance.
• Clips: Aurette owned a set of hair clips that served her both for utilitarian reasons and for their subtle decorative value on her long black locks. They could be anything from plain, streamlined clips to those decorated with small, intricate charms – a tiny badger, perhaps, a leaf, or a small paintbrush, indicative of her home and pursuits.

Her taste in clothing tended towards the warm and comfortingly layered:

• Jumpers/Sweaters: These were essentials in her wardrobe, particularly in the cold Hogwarts weather. She probably preferred soft, knitted jumpers and sweaters in a range of colors, such as the classic Hufflepuff yellow and black, with other earth colors like forest green, dark browns, and rich creams. She would probably have a few with muted patterns or distinctive textures that provided visual appeal.

In total, this is how Aurette's style might be characterized as: carefully assembled and quietly communicative. It favored practicality and comfort with details that resonated with her kind nature, her creative bent, and her love of classical looks. She did not have a strong appreciation for extremely flashy or attention-drawing outfits, but instead for a quietly distinctive and genuinely personal look. Her black Mary Janes and socks, complemented by a warm jumper and maybe a beret and a well-placed clip in her dark hair, made her a cheerful and memorable silhouette that was distinctly Aurette but also ideally adapted for a life of study and discovery at Hogwarts.

Personality:
Reducio
Aurette had a personality which was a kind and soft echo of her Hufflepuff house. She was famous for her empathy and compassion, ever willing to lend an ear to listen or extend a helping hand to someone in need. Her sympathy was deep, enabling her to sense and share the sentiments of others, rendering her a confidant and supportive friend.

She was in her nature loyal and reliable. Once she connected with someone, she remained constant and unshakeable in her support. Her friends were sure that they could rely on her at any time, be it for a study session, a supporting shoulder in a tough spot, or simply someone to have a quiet moment with.

Aurette was also incredibly patient and industrious. She tackled tasks with a calm and collected attitude, prepared to apply the effort necessary to bring things to fruition. This was true in her studies, her creative endeavors, and even in her subtle observations of the natural world – she took the time to really get the details of things.

Although not necessarily openly boisterous or attention-grabbing, Aurette had a inner strength and resilience. She dealt with adversity in a calm resolute way, relying on her strong sense of justice and her absolute conviction of doing the right thing. She wasn't somebody who could be easily influenced by transient fashion or popular sentiment, but rather remained resolute in following her own firm moral compass.

Her creative spirit was a big part of who she was. She delighted and expressed herself by drawing and painting, allowing her imagination to detail the loveliness that she observed in life itself. Her paintings tended to express her peaceful nature and her ability to see detail, depicting the subtle beauty of nature and the unobtrusive moments of daily life.

Aurette was in awe of the natural world. She found comfort and inspiration in the grounds at Hogwarts, whether she was along the Great Lake, inspecting the Herbology greenhouses, or just sitting under an ancient tree. She possessed a gentle comprehension and respect for plants and animals, viewing them with thoughtful wonder.

Though she appreciated being alone and enjoyed her own company, Aurette also had a love for her friendships. She listened well and presented well-thought-out advice when solicited. Her conversations tended to be kind and genuine, creating a feeling of warmth and comfort with the people she was around.

Essentially, Aurette was a gentle, devoted, and hardworking person who loved art and nature. Her unassuming strength and compassionate heart made her a valued friend and an exemplary representative of the Hufflepuff way. She navigated the world with a quiet elegance, leaving a soft but lasting impression on those she met.

Habits:

Aurette possessed several typical habits that expressed her reflective, creative, and kind nature:

• Sketching Frequently: She tended to keep a sketchbook and charcoal or a quill and parchment with her, frequently stopping to record interesting moments, plants, animals, or even the quality of light in a specific location. Sketching was how she interpreted the world and conveyed her observations.

• Silent Observation: Aurette was in the habit of silently observing her environment and the people around her. She would frequently pause for a moment to simply observe and take in details before talking or acting.
• Plant Care: Whether it was the school greenhouses or a potted plant that she had in her dorm, Aurette had a tendency to care for plant life very gently. She would water them slowly, inspect their leaves, and appeared to possess a natural knack of knowing what they needed.
• Reading in Quiet Corners: Any time she had spare moments, you would find Aurette alone in a quiet library corner, the common room, or even outside, lost in a book.

• Thoughtful Pauses Before Speaking: Aurette would never be one to jump into things verbally. She would pause for thought before speaking, weighing what she wanted to say and making sure her words were thoughtful and kind.

• Playing with a Hair Clip or an Object: While lost in thought or somewhat apprehensive, Aurette tended to play absently with a hair clip, a slick rock that she might have happened to grasp, or the rim of her sleeve.

• Maintaining Order: In line with her conscientious personality, Aurette would maintain her things in an organized and orderly state, whether it was her schoolbooks, her art materials, or her private area.

• Assisting Subtly: If she saw someone in trouble, Aurette's tendency was to provide help in a subtle and unobtrusive manner, without making the person's struggle a public issue.
• Smiling Softly: The soft and gentle smile was a common sight on Aurette's face, signifying the warmth of her heart and peaceful nature.

• Walking with a Slightly Downcast Gaze: On leisurely occasions, when she was not consciously watching something particular, Aurette used to walk with her eyes slightly cast down, maybe engrossed in thoughts or just happy within her own world.

These were habits that portrayed a reflective, perceptive, and kind person who was at ease with subdued things and conveyed her internal realm through painting and a relationship with nature.

Wand Lore

Chestnut wood

This is a most curious, multi-faceted wood, which varies greatly in its character depending on the wand core, and takes a great deal of colour from the personality that possesses it. The wand of chestnut is attracted to witches and wizards who are skilled tamers of magical beasts, those who possess great gifts in Herbology, and those who are natural fliers. However, when paired with dragon heartstring, it may find its best match among those who are overfond of luxury and material things, and less scrupulous than they should be about how they are obtained. Conversely, three successive heads of the Wizengamot have possessed chestnut and unicorn wands, for this combination shows a predilection for those concerned with all manner of justice.

Dragon Heartstring

As a rule, dragon heartstrings produce wands with the most power, and which are capable of the most flamboyant spells. Dragon wands tend to learn more quickly than other types. While they can change allegiance if won from their original master, they always bond strongly with the current owner.

The dragon wand tends to be easiest to turn to the Dark Arts, though it will not incline that way of its own accord. It is also the most prone of the three cores to accidents, being somewhat temperamental.

13½ in.

A 13½-inch wand is considered a mid-length wand, falling on the higher end of the average range, which is typically between 9 and 14 inches. This length is associated with a forceful style in duels and grand enchantments, suggesting a wizard or witch who is ambitious and a visionary.

Bendy

A bendy wand is one that is relatively flexible and adaptable, indicating a willingness to change and a strong sense of loyalty. This flexibility also suggests a need for change and adventure, much like its owner.
