It's November already! How time flies! This your chance to begin writing your story, using all of the ideas and planning you completed in Preptober! If you would still like to take part in NaNoWriMo, but haven't completed the Preptober tasks, that's perfectly fine! The tasks will give you some help with prepping though, so I would recommend to at least consider them if you haven't already (rewards will not be given to anyone who completed them after the end of October however).

I would recommend starting a new post in the Prep Room for your novel, but if you would like to keep it in the same thread as your plan, you are welcome to do so. Every post can be a chapter, and the thread as a whole should be your book. Please keep track of your word count as moderators will not manually count out the words for you. We will give rewards for NaNoWriMo out at the start of December.

Rewards for different milestones are the following:
- 5000 words = 10 sickles, 1 chocolate frog
- 10,000 words = 1HP, 1 galleon, 2 chocolate frogs
- 20,000 words = 1HP, 2 galleons, 3 chocolate frogs
- 30,000 words = 1HP, 3 galleons, 4 chocolate frogs
- 40,000 words = 1HP, 4 galleons, 5 chocolate frogs
- 50,000 words = 2HP, 5 galleons, 1 gold chocolate frog card, Ravensong Musicbox, and if the book is finished it will also be posted as a "published" in-universe book.

All of the reminders/restrictions from the initial post in this thread (here) still apply to NaNoWriMo. Using AI to write your novel will not be accepted - we are a writing site and this event is to encourage people to write.

For ease, even if you have already signed up and/or completed the Preptober tasks, please can you use the following sign-up form and post again to confirm your participation in NaNoWriMo. Please do not edit your October post with this information, as it will be missed.
