Errand A warm welcome

A new school can be quite intimidating, especially when it's a boarding school. Remembering what it was like to arrive at the school at first year, not knowing anything and having to figure out quite a lot, Mylo decided to try and help the new first years settle their nerves.

Walking into the small hall some students may find a familiar sight, as just like at the end of last year they would find a board with a table next to it. The table containing writing utensils and some thumb tacks to stick the notes onto the board. Students who would feel so inclined could leave notes for the first years containing bits of advice and notes of encouragement to help them settle into their new environment. Older years could also leave notes for younger, not necessarily first years, years to help them with things like exams.

First years would also be encouraged to leave notes on the board with specific questions or advice they would like, or to send notes of encouragement to their fellow first years.
