As our ranks begin to fill, so must the small first generation of leadership. In such a spirit, self-applications to be promoted to Capo are open.

The entire server (including those on site alone) will have a democratic vote to determine the "First Generation" Leadership, and then as time goes on the positions of Consigliere and Underboss will open as well.

The Role of Capo is mostly in character in nature but will be similar to the role of 'staff' on h.io proper. This would entail being involved at a higher level with Pierre as a lower leader in character and having a clutch of Soldiers and Associates beneath you (that he entrusts to your care) so as to teach them to become likely Capos themselves someday, but also come with mild OOC obligations mostly in the realm of organization (eg sorting people to Capos/helping me keep track of the Mafia roster) and and slight server services (eg just... light moderations and being an extra set of eyes for me). This does mean that it is suggested--but not required--that if you are interested in the position of Capo that you be at least a member of the Discord server even if you do not participate in it.

To apply for this first election, DM or Owl your interest to me (whichever is more convenient) along with a small blurb (ic or ooc or both) on why you would be a good fit. This is very low pressure and low stress sort of thing, but note that your blurbs will be one of the things that 'voters' will look at to assess.

Applications will close in two weeks (Sept 7th).

On another note, I am planning to start the thread which will serve as the Initiate thread located at the Training Pitch soon. If I can help it, this yearly thread will be unofficially open year round akin to how the Sorting thread is (which I will achieve by posting in it once every three months or so and hope that others will post at least once between Pierre's posts so that it doesn't look like I'm posting back to back all the time) and a new one will be made each fall as new members come in.

Reason for Joining: Evpraksiya's family has always been on the rather favorable side of the law, although that good side was more the result of multiple country golf trips and money exchanging hands outside of normal deals than actual virtue. She, as a child wasn't exposed to much of this beyond unusual socialization visits and a parent annoyed by being alloyed through. Yet, another lawsuit of their winery business but children see more than others. Evpraksiya was always observant, so why not practice a few strongly suggested skills by her parents in the sandbox that's Hogwarts?
