She looses interest in something just as easily she gains interest in it. Her father calls her "Jack of All trades, Master of None" to which, Shubhangi would always reply "But still better than Master of One!" This can truly justify her nature of wanting to learn and explore everything, but failing to ever make it through mastery. She is at times hyper focused and goal oriented, while at times she would do nothing but laze around. She is determined about her overall goal, ambitious, courageous, cunning, a lil bit of narcism here and there, kind and friendly (but once trust is broken, its gone forever). A scorpio, a water sign and true to its nature. Hopefully someday, a spark might ignite and her interests shall remain in something till she attains mastery. |

She lived her early childhood years at her ancestral home, Kanjilal Estate. Her parents kept the magic alive within their home, but they didn’t have the leisure of time to help her expand her boundaries and knowledge when it comes to the wizarding world. The Estate itself was large and many similar estates were in the vicinity, so Shubhangi and her younger brother had a handful of friends to play around with, who were as well from reputed wizarding families. While both her parents passed out from Hogwarts, all she knew was that both of them were from Ravenclaw. Her grand-mother, however, was a Slytherin and used to say with all might that Shubhangi would be one too. While she was quite surprised upon hearing her to turn out as a Gryffindor, she still sent her a scarf with Slytherin colors, because she already knit it.
For a major part of her childhood, Shubhangi learnt and went by the rules set by her grandmother, which quite restricted her way of thinking, leading her to be a little self-centric. While in reality, she was hardly anything like her paternal grandmother and was instead more like her kind mother and sharp father. She was sadly, very clumsy. Despite being taught on what to do and how to do, she still ends up messing several things, like spilling too much ingredients into potions, or forgetting {when not focused} what she did and did not add while brewing something with her mother. She tries her level best to overcome her shortcomings and utilize her abilities when she is hyper focused and interested. Her clumsiness has reduced over-time, and as well, she has learned how to properly focus and learn her lessons. Her grandmother's strict lessons might have had a fair play in this change.
